The only thing I hope for is that the minimum level isn't too fricking high for riding a mount since most of us have pre-ordered and received a free mount. It would be a slap in the face if you had to look at your mount for 40+ levels and couldn't use it! Why the hell did they give one for free then? It's like buying a Porsche but not being able to ride in it for a month
Yeah that mount you get with your pre-order can only be used in the Borderland skirmishes, so ur looking at like lvl 70+ prolly lvl 80 before u can use it!
Only horses are available to ride in the world until then!

Oh come on now, I dislike AoC and I still read the FAQ on their main site! The Border Kingdom is the End-Game PvP Raids for Battlekeeps, and the only place those mounts u get with the CE are allowed.

There are different versions of the rhino and mammoth in game. The pre-order is for the siege ones. Rhinos and Mammoths will still be available to those who dont pre-order, just a different version.
I haven't read all the posts, but I've read anough. I'm always for a dely, I know a lot of poeple hate them. I read it all the time in forums when someone delays a game "when is the game going to come out? I want to play already". If the company brings the game out and its not up to expectations you hear "this game sucks". I'm always for a delay if the dev co thinks they can make the game better. Look at Half-Life 2, it was delayed for years, and went through 2 engines and the game turned out great. I think if more game companeis learned this, we'd have more good games. 2 things devs should learn.
1. Listen to players ideas before CB and during CB.
2. If you think you can make the game better by delay, by all means delay.
You'll never make everyone happy with a delay, but if you bring out a good game most of the people who moaned about the delay will be happy. Quality should be #1 to a game company, otherwise you get Sony where most people aren't happy becase only crappy games are made and the devs listen to no one.

...and even if I did come forward with proof, all I'd get would be but its CB, in 2 months everything you see or hear will all be different and nothing will be the same. Games don't change that much from CB to OB to retail. The game is set in stone at this point, very little besides bugs and small tweaks will change!
Actually, no....if you came forward with proof you wouldn't get that. The thing is, there is NO proof either way right now. There is nothing to say the game is great and there is nothing to say the game sucks. It is all a SUBJECTIVE argument. I have said this many times and I will continue to say it....gaming is a personal experience and nobody is or isn't the "say all, end all" when it comes to what a game is like.
I have never claimed the game is great. I have faith it will be good and I believe Funcom will deliver a strong product. What I have said is that games in general and this game in particular, will have many people who love it and hate it. Just because you hate the game doesn't make it bad.
However, I do have a suggestion for you (actually a couple):
1. I would not call the moderators and the people who use these forums "whackjobs". That is insulting and immediately you have instuled your audience and your argument will fall on deaf ears.
2. If you want people to take you seriously, stop making blanket statements like you do. They get you nowhere and only prove you have no valid arguments.
See what I think is going on is you hate the game for some personal reason or maybe hate Funcom and as a result we all should hate it. Sorry that type of argument may work at some point but here it isn't valid for an adult, professional discussion and definately not an argument that will win you followers or advance your opinion. Internet is great because it allows us to bypass all obstacles in sharing ideas worldwide, unfortunately, it also allows for anonymous people to post their thoughts with alleged "proof" behind it. Every time I see people pronouncing grandiose news, I imagine a tiny man with high pitched squeaky voice standing on top of a mountain, shouting into the sky: "Hear me, listen me, you must pay attention to me because I am important!".

But uss, the fans, does not have everything to say on a delay. Funcom is on the stock market, and delaying AoC will most likely ruin Funcom. Well since I haven't gotten into the beta yet I can't really comment on if the game is ready or not, but you can always make the argument that any MMO is not finished enough to release. This question is asked before every single MMO comes out. I know one thing though I won't be trying this unless there is some kind of open beta or trial or something. I drank the coolaid on Vanguard and never again. I make sure I try out any new MMO before i throw in my 50 bucks. It's not the money really it's just that I'm sick of these studios putting out garbage and get people all excited over another poorly made game.
Tabula Rasa tried to use its beta as a marketing tool and let too many people in way too early which really hurt the game i think but even that is better than telling people they need to spend 50 to try a new game. I'll gladly pay 50 bucks and a monthly sub for a good game but I'm done wasting money on garbage so I really hope conan isn't going to try and cash in on hype and mystery by limiting exposure until the release.
Some people will say a game isn't ready even if it has a few small bugs. Everyone has their tolerance level. I think with the recent disasters that tolerance is lower than maybe it was a couple years ago.
From what I'm reading from people in beta who are breaking their NDA the game is hugely in need of more development time. I gotta say I hope they delay the release or I'm afraid this is gonna make Vanguard look polished at launch. And we know what that will do the the long term subs for the game and any hope for future development.
I actually really hope its not delayed again if its still got problems I think they should work on it as we play. Alot of people have been waiting for sometime for this game and I hate to see people lose interest in it I rater play with some errors that can be fixed in do time then not play at all.

I will almost guarantee what your reading is a few months out of date. If its anything to do with meelfox / oldboy or whatever, was actually banned from beta a while back and keeps rehashing 4 month old videos and reports without knowledge of latest goings on.
I don't know why people get so worried for. The devs themselves say everything is on target, there has been lots of testing.
But to base your concerns over outdated material and a lot of assumptions from people is pretty silly in general don't you think? Around 4 weeks to go more or less till the chance of NDA being dropped in an Open Beta state of affairs agreement "chance".

Funcom said a couple of weeks ago that sieges or city building was not in the beta.
They are going to need months to polish those important game mechanics.
