    People DO NOT waste your Time or Money on this steaming pile of shit. Besides it wont be here much longer.

    9,000 subs, huh? Care to provide some evidence of that?

    That's right -- you can't { Mod Edit }

    Care to provide some evidence that there are more than 9,000 subs?

    That's right -- you can't.

    I'm not the one who trotted out some phony number as if it was gospel truth.

    But you are the one claiming that these numbers aren't true. Any evidence ?

    Nothing that's not anecdotal. But the math of it puts that at about 346 players per server, which from my experience is completely wrong.

    and you  have on every single server a char, which you monitor 24/7 ..right ?

    You don't have to have a character on every single server and be on all of them 24/7 to know that there is more than 346 players per server. Period, end of discussion.

    You have if  you lonely source for numbers is "from what you expereience".

    Do you base your experience on other  source ?  provide it ...

    if not  ..end of discussion  and stop demanding numbers  we can't provide ..

    You know bettter that $OE  has numbers please be bold to  them demanding  numbers..

    One poster claims 9,000 subs, and nobody bats an eye.

    I tell him he's full of it, and proof is demanded from me.

    Typical. March in lockstep with the cabal, or be flamed. { Mod Edit }

    So I started to walk into the water. I won't lie to you boys...I was terrified. But I pressed on, and as I made my way past the breakers, a strange calm came over me. I don't know if it was divine intervention or the kinship of all living things, but I tell you, Jerry, at that moment ... I was a marine biologist.

    2. The evidence I can see WITH MY OWN TWO EYES tells me that is inaccurate.

    Ergo, I call bullshit. SOE hasn't released subscription numbers in a long time, so can I provide a number? No -- but that doesn't mean I can't look at my monitor and know that the number that was paraded out by the above poster was an outright falsehood.

    And I love it that nobody's gone after 9,000-subscription boy, because his statement -- no matter how false -- supports the Groupthink.

    Then post a screenshot that shows 364 people on one server. I'll make it even easier for you--post a screenshot that shows 100 people on any server.

    I'll have to check my screenshots. I helped run a PvP event a couple of weeks ago that had at least 100 people there. I took some screens but, obviously, there's not one with everyone in it.

    I'm certainly not going to say the game doesn't have population issues. However, one thing that is true is that people who return to the game can easily be deceived because players are much more spread out than they used to be pre-CU. There really is no hub, no congregating area like there used to be, and if someone returns to the game and immediately jumps to Coronet and doesn't see a zillion people, they assume that NOBODY is playing.

    Of course, I'll get flamed just for saying this, too. But my employer at SOE requested that I post it.

    Sorry people are still getting Ent buffs so there are still hubs.

    I, personally, always have my own ent up someplace. I know a lot of PvPers use buff houses near Restuss. Theed cantina has a few ATK ents. Eisley pretty much got deserted during the great credit spammer debacle from a few months back.

    I figured there must be some sort of powerpoint presentation that SOE provides for their viral marketers. It contains bullet points like:
    • The game is a million times better than it was when the NGE went live. The current group of devs has brought a lot of the old game back and people are loving every bit of it!
    • The servers aren't empty it's just that people are more spread out than they used to be.
    • The Beastmaster system is way better than the crappy old CH system.
    • People never liked greedy crafters. It's so much better to just be able to loot the best weapons in the game.
    • Don't listen to the vets on mmorpg.com. They haven't played the game in years and don't know how great it is now.
    • Collections are awesome content. Riding around empty planets clicking on shinies is just what this game needed all along.
    • The instances are awesome. The bosses have like a bajillion hitpoints so this is truly elite content!

    Did I miss any?

    Way to completely misrepresent the POV of the people who don't hate SWG.

    Except that I wasn't trying to represent the POV of the people who don't hate SWG. Just the forum troll fanbois who defend it no matter how bad it gets and all use the exact same arguments that I outlined in my list.
