I am in the Beta, and pulling 64 fps on my system, and rarely slow down. And this is on Medium settings. THis is, by far, the best Beta I've been in, and I've done LOTR, Vanguard and now AoC. I can say that, at least for me, it will be worth it.
What you must have an awesome machine to get 64 fps on aoc lol.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 (which is not supported on this build, ironically, heh) 6400+ clocked at 3.4 Ghertz Dual Core proc, 2 gigs of dual channel TwinX PC6400 Corsair RAM, nVidia Geforce 8800 GT 512 not overclocked, with the program installed on a SATA II 500 gig hard drive. I've kept bloom on, turned shadows off, and Medium settings I average 59-64 fps, and in PvP combat 25-30 fps.

Thats a nice build, i should have gone for the 3.4 dual core as well but I went cheap on it, and have found it would have helped out alot in the long run. I still love my comp though and get almost no lag in AoC.
So watched a few vids of the PvP weekend looks pretty nice but watching casters play is the same as any other game haven't seen a melee vid yet so can't say anything about that.
