As long as the game enforce 1 aspect of the game over other, the greedy nasty tendancy will only accentuated, because many players are not happy, and when they are not happy you see their worst side.
Most of them would be a lot nicer if they would actually enjoy the game rather then do what must be done.

And if you want to actually enjoy the game like the very first people to play EQ and share all this knowledge that is now with us on the web? I watch people come and go in EQ because they burn out quick becasue they are in to much of a hurry to get to the top.

I have another thing that makes me really pissed off. I had a stalker recently that would not leave me alone and would not leave my friends alone in an attempt to make me talk to him, and yes, even though I told him off and got him to go away... I am just so disgusted that I have not played in days.
So.. these kinds of things annoy me... a lot.

Yes, yes, it is! Ignore did not work though since he was standing right beside me when I hit /ignore and then literally followed me from zone to zone and since I zone slowly, he could zone before me... Anonymous did not work either, since I am usually so... he just would not go away.
Then I told his guild... not to get him banned though because then he would have blamed me and never went away.. it was instead to warn him that if he did not leave me alone, he could be banned. If that makes sense.
And yeah... he just sent tells to all my friends going, "Get her to talk to me." And he was actually going, "I will not leave you all alone until she talks to me." But they just ignored him, too. And this worked much better when I got together with my bard friend and his bard speed and we bolted away.
But then... he saw me in PoK and kept following me again... but for just hailing, I could not really /petition him, though I did, but I have not been on since then... so.. wah.
Trust me, I tried ignore and anon and petition and report! He did finally wander away that final day, but by that point I was completely frustrated. I knew him for like two days and it was insanity...

Then gate! Clerics have gate. No one can follow you. Get a TL from a Wizzy, a gate from a druid, log off for 10 minutes, have someone cast invis on you, use an invis potion, I mean come on its really not that hard unless youre one of those people who just hangs out in POK all day and chats.

Oh yes, you are correct, completely. I complain once in the thread about complaining.. and I am doing it for attention. You, unfortunately, did not see what I read. I zone slowly, extremely slowly, so going somewhere else, when I am meeting my friend and my group for adventuring, is not really an option. And no, camping out does not work when someone is stalking you. I did camp and come back since I said it took place over two days and that also does not stop him from sending tells to my friends or other people.

I act like a Goddess and treat them poorly...anyone with a little self estim will eventually tired off. Especially that stalkers are usually beggers playing the Noob card, when they see you EXPECT them to do this or that or whatever else and you take them for granted, they leave you alone(a little sour, but they recall how nice I was before they stalk me and this kinda confuse them)...they WANT, they dont GIVE!

I was nice to him at first. He was nice at first! But he definitely did not need anything I could give him. He had a bunch of Vex Thal gear and his Epics and insane elemental gear. I fear that he may have been BiPolar. Earlier on he said he was, when he was still being nice, but then later on... I just do not know.
Usually, people do just follow and beg for gear, but this was something annoying as hell that made me want to pull my hair. Alts, and characters from other servers and wah, eek, eepness! It was just annoying as hell, hence my ranting. I still have not been on, not because I am worried I will see him or anything, but just because I am so vexed.
If he had wanted gear or money, I would have given it to him! Hehe. I mean, people have followed me, but none were like this. It was just so extreme, so fast. I think he just wanted to bug me until I went insane.
I was hoping he would have some sense of pride and after following me through two different zones, perhaps go away when they said, "Go away!" But nope... I mean... who follows someone when they do not want to talk to them? That just makes you look pathetic. Especially when it is someone you just met. I mean, other people have annoyed me, but never followed me around. That was when I started to get worried.
And!!! Giving... earlier, when I was first talking to him, he asked for V at first and tried to give me 55k in a trade window, but I was like ...... and he hit TRADE! Now, I really regret not taking it, believe me. Lol.

Maybe...you can try to give that player a little attention every day, but after that nearly ignore him because you are busy. He will understand the pattern and be waiting for you to log to chit chat a little before you go off. I bet he will be happy with a happy you 2 minutes everyday rather then unhappy and ignoring most of the time. If he look frustrated after a few times when you turn busy but join in that way of handling this, then you hit the mark. 1 smile save you many nasty talking. The days he act nicely you can reward that player with YOU bumping and talking to him once or twice while you are regrouping or something, but carefull to not overdo it. If that player see that you are happy and you say him talk a little later, he dont want to ruin his faction with you, he want the happy you again...LOL.
(I think that player is lonely, just need a little attention)

Presently, I have him on ignore and if he just wanted to talk, I would not mind. He was intelligent and nice at first, but then we were going to group somewhere that he did not like and he started making comments and when I said, and I quote, "If you do not like it, you do not have to come, of course. We do not wish to bore you." (Since he was new, I was being ultra nice!) And he started with the, "If you do not want me around, just tell me," and the, "I am sorry I wasted your time. I am sorry I bothered you." He is one of those attention loving people that try to make you feel sorry and ask him to come around, even though you never asked him to leave. Do you know the kind I mean?
And sure, if he were going to be nice and apologize, I would most likely talk to him. Or not even apologize, just go, "I will stop acting like that," then sure, because it is so frustrating when you go, "Want to come here with us?" And the person goes, "If you do not want me around, just tell me!" He was also extremely paranoid about my friends and because of this, also said those things. It was just ahh.
And no, I do not think he is lonely! When I was not talking to him, he got his friend to send me a tell and I told her that he followed me around and she started telling me about how he got her to cyber with him and he was asking her to leave her husband for him and all sorts of insanity. When it comes to him, I think I am just better off acting like he does not exist because he seems to have a few, serious problems.
Then, some time later on, when I was ignoring him, he went and started hitting on my in game sister because he had grouped with us and knew who she was. He was telling her that it doesn't matter if she is married and all sorts of things.
But sure, I could wave and say hello if I thought he'd be normal and not evil. That I can do. I really am a nice person and I tried to be patient for hours, but no, it would not work.

Well I dunno, if it was me, and I had to pick between psycho stalker and zoning slowly, I think I'd pick zoning slowly. I had my fair share of psycho chicks in my 3 years of EQ, so yeah, zoning slowly looks real good right about then.

But this is my point.. because I was zoning slowly and he was zoning before me, into the same places I was, he could very easily see where I was going, which is why I could not get rid of him. If I had just bound somewhere, he would have seen me cast it and it would have done nothing because he would have known where I was bound.
Eventually, we just went into an LDoN, after finding my bard friend and making him bolt away with me in tow, but the next day, when I was in PoK... he was there.. hailing me over and over again and explaining that he just wanted to talk, but I just ignored it and paid no attention, which is why I went to his guild. He went away after that, finally... and then I celebrated and played for a few minutes more, but I was stressed and camped and have not been back.

It wasn't about outsmarting him, it was about getting him to leave me alone and I did camp and come back and he was there. Two boxing/stalking. He had some kind of point to make in his head, I guess and he believed that I owed him a conversation, but the first time I blocked him and tried to talk to him normally, he just went insane with the self pitying act and I told him to leave me alone, and then the stalking began.
I didn't know that he had alts - well, change that - I didn't know who his alts were, so when I came on, he knew I was on...
Only talking to his guild worked and I made sure they understood that I did not want him gone, just warn him to leave me alone or he would be gone. It's a big, raiding guild on my server, so I figured they would want their members to have some respect for other players, but the officer I talked to did not care, which was why I went to the leader, who was female, and finally got him to shut up.. I guess. She must have. After I talked to her, he came up to me a few more times and then was gone, gone, gone!
But then later on he started with my sister, asking for an invite into her guild. I guess he thought I had not told her about him and at first she fell for it and I was like, "Tell him I'm a guy and to go away." And she did and he said I was really messed up. He thought I was a girl, which I am, but it seemed that telling him differently was a good idea. Heh. I should have done that in the beginning. That and I should have taken his money.
But I have been stalked before, just nothing like this. Or, erm, followed. This was the first official person that followed me through zones and waited for me to come on and then sent me tells from other servers (Karana server) and just, yeah, wouldn't leave me alone, or the people in my group. It was only two days and he was so normal at first.. but he told me he was going to kill himself and that he was leaving EQ because I was going to camp and just all sorts of things that made me want to scream at him, but I was patient at first and I think that was my problem... I was nice, when I should have said, "Here, have a shotgun."
But no matter what, I need to come to PoK... but I have his alt, other server and his character all on ignore and I am almost positive his guild warned him... I mean, I told the leader that he wouldn't leave me alone and at first she told me, "Unblock him and have him send you tells for an hour and then send it to me.." And I was like .......... I do not want to talk to him... this is my point... I do not want him gone from your guild... I want him away from me...
But yes, rambling from me is fun.. but the bard speed and the LDoN helped lots, but they only made him more angry, which was when he got HIS friends to send me tells, explaining that I just NEED to talk to him for a second and so on. I am nice, I swear and he wasn't an idiot, either, but god... follow someone else, and NOT my in game sister or friends.

A little trick is to make activation lines.
EQ usually need 2 things when talking to NPCs.
A question word or action word and then the target word from the NPC text.
What I usually do, when NPCs are confusing me and not responding correctly is make lines like this.

I was hoping he would have some sense of pride and after following me through two different zones, perhaps go away when they said, "Go away!" But nope... I mean... who follows someone when they do not want to talk to them? That just makes you look pathetic. Especially when it is someone you just met. I mean, other people have annoyed me, but never followed me around. That was when I started to get worried.
And!!! Giving... earlier, when I was first talking to him, he asked for V at first and tried to give me 55k in a trade window, but I was like ...... and he hit TRADE! Now, I really regret not taking it, believe me. Lol.

Just an idea but...
Maybe...you can try to give that player a little attention every day, but after that nearly ignore him because you are busy. He will understand the pattern and be waiting for you to log to chit chat a little before you go off.
I bet he will be happy with a happy you 2 minutes everyday rather then unhappy and ignoring most of the time. If he look frustrated after a few times when you turn busy but join in that way of handling this, then you hit the mark. 1 smile save you many nasty talking. 
The days he act nicely you can reward that player with YOU bumping and talking to him once or twice while you are regrouping or something, but carefull to not overdo it. If that player see that you are happy and you say him talk a little later, he dont want to ruin his faction with you, he want the happy you again...LOL.
(I think that player is lonely, just need a little attention)
He act like the old folks in the market(yeah those spending days there).

Presently, I have him on ignore and if he just wanted to talk, I would not mind. He was intelligent and nice at first, but then we were going to group somewhere that he did not like and he started making comments and when I said, and I quote, "If you do not like it, you do not have to come, of course. We do not wish to bore you." (Since he was new, I was being ultra nice!) And he started with the, "If you do not want me around, just tell me," and the, "I am sorry I wasted your time. I am sorry I bothered you." He is one of those attention loving people that try to make you feel sorry and ask him to come around, even though you never asked him to leave. Do you know the kind I mean?
And sure, if he were going to be nice and apologize, I would most likely talk to him. Or not even apologize, just go, "I will stop acting like that," then sure, because it is so frustrating when you go, "Want to come here with us?" And the person goes, "If you do not want me around, just tell me!" He was also extremely paranoid about my friends and because of this, also said those things. It was just ahh.
And no, I do not think he is lonely! When I was not talking to him, he got his friend to send me a tell and I told her that he followed me around and she started telling me about how he got her to cyber with him and he was asking her to leave her husband for him and all sorts of insanity. When it comes to him, I think I am just better off acting like he does not exist because he seems to have a few, serious problems.
Then, some time later on, when I was ignoring him, he went and started hitting on my in game sister because he had grouped with us and knew who she was. He was telling her that it doesn't matter if she is married and all sorts of things.
But sure, I could wave and say hello if I thought he'd be normal and not evil. That I can do. I really am a nice person and I tried to be patient for hours, but no, it would not work.

Well I dunno, if it was me, and I had to pick between psycho stalker and zoning slowly, I think I'd pick zoning slowly. I had my fair share of psycho chicks in my 3 years of EQ, so yeah, zoning slowly looks real good right about then.

But this is my point.. because I was zoning slowly and he was zoning before me, into the same places I was, he could very easily see where I was going, which is why I could not get rid of him. If I had just bound somewhere, he would have seen me cast it and it would have done nothing because he would have known where I was bound.
Eventually, we just went into an LDoN, after finding my bard friend and making him bolt away with me in tow, but the next day, when I was in PoK... he was there.. hailing me over and over again and explaining that he just wanted to talk, but I just ignored it and paid no attention, which is why I went to his guild. He went away after that, finally... and then I celebrated and played for a few minutes more, but I was stressed and camped and have not been back.

Thats why you log off for an hour, log back on then go bind somewhere else. Its not really that hard to figure out, come on, youre smarter than that. You mean to tell me you cant outsmart some loser in a game and hes on it 24/7 and doesnt eat sleep or work?

It wasn't about outsmarting him, it was about getting him to leave me alone and I did camp and come back and he was there. Two boxing/stalking. He had some kind of point to make in his head, I guess and he believed that I owed him a conversation, but the first time I blocked him and tried to talk to him normally, he just went insane with the self pitying act and I told him to leave me alone, and then the stalking began.
I didn't know that he had alts - well, change that - I didn't know who his alts were, so when I came on, he knew I was on...
Only talking to his guild worked and I made sure they understood that I did not want him gone, just warn him to leave me alone or he would be gone. It's a big, raiding guild on my server, so I figured they would want their members to have some respect for other players, but the officer I talked to did not care, which was why I went to the leader, who was female, and finally got him to shut up.. I guess. She must have. After I talked to her, he came up to me a few more times and then was gone, gone, gone!
But then later on he started with my sister, asking for an invite into her guild. I guess he thought I had not told her about him and at first she fell for it and I was like, "Tell him I'm a guy and to go away." And she did and he said I was really messed up. He thought I was a girl, which I am, but it seemed that telling him differently was a good idea. Heh. I should have done that in the beginning. That and I should have taken his money.
But I have been stalked before, just nothing like this. Or, erm, followed. This was the first official person that followed me through zones and waited for me to come on and then sent me tells from other servers (Karana server) and just, yeah, wouldn't leave me alone, or the people in my group. It was only two days and he was so normal at first.. but he told me he was going to kill himself and that he was leaving EQ because I was going to camp and just all sorts of things that made me want to scream at him, but I was patient at first and I think that was my problem... I was nice, when I should have said, "Here, have a shotgun."
But no matter what, I need to come to PoK... but I have his alt, other server and his character all on ignore and I am almost positive his guild warned him... I mean, I told the leader that he wouldn't leave me alone and at first she told me, "Unblock him and have him send you tells for an hour and then send it to me.." And I was like .......... I do not want to talk to him... this is my point... I do not want him gone from your guild... I want him away from me...
But yes, rambling from me is fun.. but the bard speed and the LDoN helped lots, but they only made him more angry, which was when he got HIS friends to send me tells, explaining that I just NEED to talk to him for a second and so on. I am nice, I swear and he wasn't an idiot, either, but god... follow someone else, and NOT my in game sister or friends.
