How is everyone waiting for War ?

I know their had been topics in the past like this, but with the AoC beta starting this morning, I find myself homeless. I never even tried to get in the AoC pvp weekend or open beta, as I think that game is gonna be a mess. My action plan is to wait a few weeks after release then see, but were talking some time in June.

I really need Warhammer now. i just know it will be released playable because of the safer graphics. I'm not playing anything now because AoC may turn out well, and I just got out of MMO burnout.

I have a 51 Warlock waiting for me if I choose to go back to WoW.

D&D Online is my best, and would have to start all over if I take that road.

EQ2 I often think about giving it another shot, but I can't see myself paying SOE top $ for their rip off expansions.

And Offline RPG's and Shooters just suck after 2 weeks.

I'm enjoying the spring and the nice weather but I still have time on my hands. So what is everyone else doing ??

I'm also waiting to play Warhammer Online.  I will be playing AOC till Warhammer is released.  Then again if AOC is really good I will hold off getting Warhammer till even a later date.

Gonna play EVE until WAR comes out, (and probably even after, just at a reduced level)

Still on the fence about AOC.

You do realize that claiming to be in the WAR beta is a breach of the NDA that has been discussed on here already.

Same here I played DAoC for 5 yrs and have some wonderful RvR times. So I know Mythic can make a great game but I always liked Funcom, even when I beta AO and played the smooth launch. I will also try AoC but if it does not hold my interest in PvP/GvG then its time for WAR.....

I apologize after an in depth search of the NDA and the 'ridiculous' amounts of stuff to read I found I was wrong.

I was under the impression that beta participants were not allowed to disclose any details of the WAR beta, including thier participation.

The NDA is a pretty big document and it's quite easy to get lost in there.

Are you a cop by any chance? Shoot first, ask questions later, right?

I am currently playing LOTRO till WAR. I dont feel any pressure to hit end game in LOTRO as I do in say EQ2 or any of the current MMO's. Im actually having fun reading the quests and exploring the world.

Yeah, that 20-30 bucks for their last expansion that includes every single expansion before it is really top dollar.

I am playing wow myself though the pvp makes me sick and the pve is a grind... I can only keep going cause my other drone like friends still play it.

    Gawds, for a decent game.

Playing more guitar and working on my solos while I cruise the cosmos in EvE.

If you decide to go back to WoW, its so warped around Arena and PvP that class balance is based around gear+ability to crowd control.

I'll be hopping on the AoC bandwagon and giving it a whirl, most likely until WAR. The AoC melee system seems very interesting and I think its something every MMO gamer should at least look into.

Im starting to have symptoms of back fatigue from sitting so much. I am an IT tech support guy by day and an avid MMORPG'er by night, so I am sitting alot.

I find the best thing to do is every 30-45 minutes of sitting, get up and walk around/stretch for a few minutes and resume. I actually thought for a while I was getting kidney stones, but it was just back pain lol.

  • elvenangelelvenangel Member Posts: 2,205

yea i'm a programmer so i feel your pain being at a desk...the stretches and moving around ever 30 to 40 mins has definiitly help cut down on the reaccurances...if I could just get back to a regular exercise routine instead of the random once or twice a week deal I'd probably not have the issues at all lol

anyway back on topic..wii for the win of a time burner until WAR lol
