Open beta has nothing to do with the retail release. If you use fileplanet's Preview event, you are free to go to best buy, wal-mart, or where ever to buy the game if you desire. If on the other hand you don't want to buy the game and pay $15 a month to play, no problem. Either way, if you do the beta, I highly recommend you delete that off your computer and defrag your computer when you are done. Once you get your retail disks, reinstall. As always, after you install and patch the game, be sure to defrag again. It is important to keep your system clean.
