this was a general comment and not aimed at you personally... but now you mention it ;)

What how dare you? I'm running in debug mode so can't be responsible for anything I post here! You're just a hater, so why don't you go back to WoW with all the other noobs? Yeah we don't need you in Vang........erm hold on, actually we do need you in Vanguard. I'm so lonley :(

If AoC turns into this on the forums I will cry, alot.

hehe, I guess you were there too.

Yeah but I was a naysayer sort of, I just wanted straight answers and McQuaid came out with more conflicting statements than every religous text known to man! When speaking to raiders he'd say it was a raid focused game, groupers it was a group focused game, and yes you guessed it soloers were told it was very much focused on solo play. I would point out McQuaids conflicting statements, point out that he couldn't be telling the truth to everyone and ask what the truth was. McQuaid just spoke so much bull, but he got away with it until launch. Even suggesting people having trouble with performance needed to upgrade their old rigs, he forgot to mention that VG had a massive issue with all 8800 cards even though he suggested you need one. I would get called a hater and told to get lost, so I did after never getting one straight answer about any of the features or "visions" would be more accurate.

AoC is diffrent, you have a few active haters that will stop at nothing to slag off AoC and FC. Others are just peeved with performance because A: comp isn't up to par in one way or another, or B: They haven't tried the tweaks and just think moaning will get it fixed like a child crying for a toy. Those that actually don't like the game itself are fine and rarely complain in such childish terms as the others. I get the feeling that with tweaks AoC runs for the majority with computers within the reccomended requirements.

If AoC was to lauch now in this state it would easily blow VG and many other MMORPGs out of the water, in my opinion ofcourse.

Everyone has the right to make their statements and opinions about a game, and everyone has a right to change their mind.

No big deal, people have to try the game themselves to REALLY get the right impression anyway. Having other people judge/review is just having their say on it.

I've never tried Vanguard, never been close to it, but to me it sounds interesting - for the try anyway - and as players get better rigs I'd think it might gain a small popularity. Unfortunately, or should I say luckily new games are being made with even better and more polished graphics, concepts and playability as time goes by.

When I first heard that Funcom would be making Age of Conan I KNEW it would be good, even with technical issues, because they have the experience and learning from Anarchy Online, and the great single player games they made. I haven't even tried beta, but I'm confident the game will be awsome.

They are serious about what they do, not in for the hustle. You can see they have a passion for games, new and fresh ones, - pushing the envelope a little, and not just making money.

Have to go with VG. AoI jus looks like a gimmick . There is nothing mature about  blood and boobies. Maturity is a level of personality ,ambition. Think Vanguard can better then AoC given the right circumstances., like performance, quest flow and getting back tot he original theory of the game.

AoI (Age of Immaturity) seems like a fast buck for Funcom, nothing more, how much faster to make money then blood and boobs ?

From what I am reading, the final client will not have any testing on it what so ever ? That is how I see it... The current "open beta" client is not the closed beta client ? and the closed beta client iis not the "gold" client ??

I can honestlly say if this is true, this game is a failure, it is one of the worst handled beta testing scheduling that I've ever read. Who ever created this trio client procedure needs to be fired. Greanted this has nothing do with the over all game mechanics, but as testing go, you will never find bugs testing a game this way. Clsed beta client should always be the current work in progress build, it is just outstanding that this is how they chose to run there testing....

Well to the guys defence i see nothing wrong in these comments. Boobs and blood seems immature to him, big deal. And the final client has not received full testing unless u are forgeting that no1 has tested raids, mounts sieges and i dont even remember what else.

Besides i d be happy if my game had people who think for themselves playing instead of rabid fanbois and immature 12 yr olds.

Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths, Enwrought with golden and silver light, The blue and the dim and the dark cloths Of night and light and the half light, I would spread the cloths under your feet: But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

There will be some things that are a soar thumb for like the foliage, but for the most part it is buy , and I will be flipping subscriptions back and fourth with LotRO. I wanted to do that with VG but that game just left me feeling blanked.
Think Saturdays pvp event will be my deciding factor on a 100% purchase .
Hope more people are able to get it to work cause it is one heck of an adventure game.

Damn bet you feel stupid now re-reading all your comments in the past 2/3 months naysaying aoc..

    /agree

just because performance was poor on your pc, doesn't mean it is a failure right away, open your eyes

You guys fight more than Mexican cocks! I guess it's just creating more hype/subscriptions though, everybody on each side has to play or their point is moot! Or I guess they could just say they played and continue bashing it anyways, but really- who's that much of a loser? Ba-baaawk...

Why don't you get True hispeed? They make you share a pipeline with 50 other users but MMORPGs are still playable. If you live in Chang Mai you can get cable which is about the same.
