Ive read and understood the previous post.

ramadin does have a point. She could at least fake interest. I mean in the realworld, you can't advertise your lemonade stand and another (and better) lemonade stand without asking the owner or thinks start to happen, even when you only in if for the money (which would be to gain users)

In any case, I love this site, so does she, we've found alot of cool things, met some cool people.

Vyktor your in the ok, but i dout she is. No offence but so far shes only posted in this topic. It dosen't show any love she have for this site (unless it's getting ideas off this site, which is ok). I dou't you show love for a site by advertizing your site without permission.

Yes, a shameless plug, but adding to the community. Look at the length of this thread, it gave people something to talk about, if that isn't adding to the community, then what is it?

Shameless? yes. adding to the communtiy? really dout that. This thread is so long becuase your friend has yet to realze and post that what she did wasn't a very good idea. Like I said, anyone would know that ppl would have problems about this and she should have known . . .

I don't blame her for not posting anywhere else as much as she's been flamed here. But she does explore the site, she does read other posts, for what it's worth, she is part of this community as well as her own site. She never said go there and never come back, she just said check it out, see what you think.

EDIT: That is not being part of the community. That's visiting, being a guest and not being in the communtiy.

What do you mean you can't blame her!! First, the made her first post with an ad which was a very bad idea and ANYONE would know that they would get flamed cuz it seemed obvious that she was trying to gain and not give. Not only that but she didn't post anywhere else, said she like the site, not even a good ol' hello! HER site called Gamming Girlz saying it's ALL ABOUT THE GIRLS which I don't have much of a problem with. And the main reason is that it seems like shes FAILING to get the point that it was'nt a really good idea to start off here like this in the first place and she didn't apoligize. . .

yeah and we told her what we though too . . . and about just comming on the site just advertizing . . .

I was thinking that maybe we should advetize mmorpg.com on that girls site. . . . .

A hot topic dosen't mean it's hot. What's your point? It made no contribution at all, and it seems that your blinded by her first mastke. I don't have anything aginst this thread but you have to know that when a friend makes a mastake, you can't just try it cover it up. Some valid points, most definitley. And yes, maybe it was a bad idea to post that first, but she was excited and wanted to share. Got smacked down for posting the "ad" first. OK, her bad. Are you saying that because she did that she, or this thread, shouldn't be here? If you felt that way, then why the earlier support?

OK, so her posts have remained in this thread, so if she posted somewhere else as well, you'd all be ok with it? I doubt it seriously. She'd get the same hell with a different label. So why does it matter. If mmorpg.com has an issue with this thread, and they don't appear to, by all means, say something, get rid of the thread. But they haven't, so it can't be all that bad.

This thread has been pretty bandwagon, someone gives an opening for a slam, and down we go, then someone gives something positive to it, and up it goes.

One hell of a roller coaster ride.....let's do it again, I'm having a blast

I help people and in my previous topics, i said that it would be better if she just apologize and confront this topic and so far she hasen't. You can't stand up for her, she got to do it her self and you really need to contact her and tell her.

We want her to post other places but she dosent which makes obvious to others. Shes not going through any kind of hell cuz shes not standing up and defending herself, explaining and saying shes sorry. We don't know how mods go about stuff but it may be left open for a reason, not cuz it's bad, it maybe becuase somthing has to be delt with.

EDIT: Trust me. you can't go through hell in one topic. I've been the gameshark. com boards and their are a lot of iditos, ppl who hate smartness and imagination, and borring topics. Also bad mods. ppl would also hate you for no reason . . . . I got banned form somthing that i didn't do and they wanted me to give proof when they knew no proof could be given, so i just told them to screw themselves cuz their boards are currupted.

I will though apologize to mmorpg.com if they contact me! Yes you are right ....my first post was what you call an "ad" the intention wasn't for it to be an "ad". What I saw was an opportunity in a Off Topic Discussion area to get feedback about my website from some gamers. That I did recieve...some very helpful feed back but also got a lot of sacarastic feed back which I took in stride and have taken it all to heart. So if you want to call it an "ad" by all means call it an "ad".

As for my comment in my early post about showing true colours. You were nice to me for a bit and actually helpful....then you got some kind of bee in bonnet. Kinda like the kid you met in high school who was all your friend until one day they see that the cool kids didn't like you....so he stuffs you in a locker. Yes I have seen that you have registered on my site and yes I got your PM message there as well and your AIM address. I know you obviously wanted to speak with me. To flame me out and feel better. The reason I took my time to come back was to give myself time to think so I don't become one of the few flaming idiots on here! So I didn't say something I wouldn't stand behind.

As for my husband defending me....are you married? Do you know what marriage consists of and how it works? My husband defending me is his duty. He feels that if he doesn't defend me and stand behind me with whatever I do that he is failing me as a husband. Is that wrong? I don't think so. I would do the same for him. I would go to hell for him with an empty water pistol and still win because...I love him! So I am sorry that you think my husband should feel shame for defending me. I am sorry you don't feel that love in your life!

I guess for now that is all I have to say other then a thanks to a new poster RabidWerWolf. You are an intelligent man and I really appreciate your words of support! Well, isn't this just filled with a lot of DRAMA? Lets get to the point.. there is a lot of "Rules" being broken here. I am not going to point them all out, but let me put it to you like this guys and gals.. The "ad" is the least of the worries in this post, it is true that she should have a mmorpg.com link on her website and it's never to late to add one!

Everyone, please read our Rules of Conduct before pursuing to go any further in this thread. It is important that we all follow the rules ( including me ) so that our website continues to have constructive conversations and continues to be what you all have made it so far.

I am ready to get banned but I dont like being pushed around... I understnad you just want to stop this fight justin but it really annoys me when a person in power throws their weight around... lol I dont know how much longer I will have on this site... I do think its great and all, and this first time I saw someone throw around their power on these forums... I bet you cna understand the same feeling its like a teacher telling you to sit down and shut up... now that ticks me off... I am not trying to "rebel against the system"... grrr... anger... and the possibilty of being banned... makes me madder... errr... do you have prince albert in a can...
