HI ALL MY GIRL GAMING FRIENDS!!!!

 

 I have been creating a girlz gaming website, it is still in the early stages of development but I am so excited about it I just had to share it with someone.

 

www.girlzgametoo.com is a website designed for the gaming girl!!! A great place for girlz to come and hang with your girlfriends and talk about pc games like Everquest, Everquest II and much much more!!!

    I dont understand something... I am not against girls-only sites/clans, but why?... its like having an asian club... do guys really have that diffrent view point on games then girls?... are our intrestes taht diffrent when it comes to gaming... I dont have a problem with any of it but I am just wondering why?..

    Can vouch for her as a female as I know her IRL.  Married her and everything and I'm damn proud of the job she's doing with it.  So take your flames to someone who actually gives a flip and let the woman work, posts like yours are one of the reason this site was made.  You ruin it for everyone who's interested in it with your negative bs and flaming.  Be constructive or go home......

    Why a website for girl gamers??

    Well because some women or girlz whichever you prefer to call us like to have a place to chat it up. Yes women do communcate differently then men. Surprising huh!! So I got tired of looking at testerone driven sites and decide it would be really nice to find one for women. A place where we can share game tips and yak it up.  As for being sexist...no not really men feel free to join....it is just well designed for women. hehe

    Men signing up on Girlz Game Too...

    Sure why not ...maybe you will even find a way to convince your wife/gf/life partner to play games with you like my hubby Vyktor and I do. We have great fun together!

    am I spuing testerone, because I thought I was all sealed up... but really whats wrong with lets say this site... I do not see any very male influences in here... and about they guy calling her a male is understandable and I am pretty sure was a joke... theres lotsof people that pretend they are someone/something else then they really are... well anyways hope the site goes well and all, lots of people on this site are friendly so I bet if you need anything just ask around here and someone will probaby help you... good luck...(I still dont see the need for an all girlz site but I guess I am kinda blindimage)

    I think the site looks pretty good.

    One thing though, I don't know how you made that banner at the top, but if I stretch the screen wider than 1024x768 (which my desktoip is set wider than that) then the banner strecthes and says "Girls Game Gam Too".

    Well most people are probably already home and posting so where would you like us to go?  Sorry buddy but not everyone is going to like it.  No offense to your wife but I think the site is horrible.  The layout is ok but the colors scream insanity. Also, don't go claiming the design and code is yours when it looks like a clone of the hosting site http://www.soopportal.org/.  There is a big difference between coding something yourself and editing code and adding your stuff in, if you use a template then you should give credit to the creator. 

    The worst aspect about your post is that you are giving her and her site a negative image with your unprofessional attitude.  If you claim to represent her and her site then you better think twice before speaking out so rudely.  No one wants to deal with an Admin that is a complete jerkoff from the get go.  Her post was nothing negative, especially as she posted "Thank you for all the feedback .....pls send more I am loving it!"  By you posting and basically bitching everyone out, you are giving her a negative image in ways she probably doesn't want to be looked at.  As you said, it's her site.  Let her deal with the criticisms.  Everyone has an opinion, it's your choice if you let that opinion ruin it, or if you choose to ignore it and go on your way.

    You didn't leave much to work with Dekron without being overly redundant. (that's actually a oddly worded compliment)

     

    It's never been my thing to leave good enough alone, so maybe explain it again only wordier and slightly more insulting will drive the point home.


    But I'd like to add a bit to the "Be constructive or go home..." comment. As this represents the general small mindedness that will lead anything good strait into the crapper.

     

    Let start by stating the overly obvious.

     

    A: I am home, it's where I like to post from

     

    B: Your conveying your displeasure with our un-constructive opinions by being un-constructive.  I hope you see the paradox in this. I'll save the essay on how silly it is to expect a constructive result by being so un-constructive.

     

    C: If "I don't your really a woman" is the worst she gets, life is damn good.

     

    D: Why is your opinion anymore valuable than anyone else's? It isn't, but it makes you like as dumb as Jessica Simpson in the lighting round of Jeopardy trying to say such. When you say how "proud" you are and we should "go home" you saying just that, Jessica.

     

    E: If you can't stand people being critical, you probably shouldn't be making web sites. If you can't tolerate someone pointing out things that will ultimate make your site better. You are doomed to fail.

     

    Let's move to the abstract concepts of the value of free expression and greater good that comes for the honest and open exchange of ideas.

     

    Well, on second thought, let's not. If your not following the above, the rest of what I have to say isn't going to help. But just for kicks I'm going in the next idea.

    Who are you? How am I? On the internet you and I are nothing, we're a series of characters on a monitor. I can claim to be a green elephant from mars in one post and a young sassy teen girl from Costa Rica in the next. We have minimal means of proving what others say about themselves.

     

    Creating a web site for "hot young teen girls" generally draws over weight, middle aged men and still live at home and sadly they probably pretend to be hot young teen girls better than hot young teen girls.

    Why does it matter what age/sex/race ..ect ..ect someone is on a web site? It doesn't.


    It might be best to make sites for idea or concept rather than for a specific human gender.

    One last concept of importance in regard to message to media:

    I don't believe Vyktor is anymore the original posters husband and than I believe the original poster is a woman. You should never believe anything unless you already know it to be true, or will take the time to prove it yourself. I care not to prove either. This should apply to all things, from all forms of media.

    not trying to get into a flaming war with anyone, and yes, I went about it the wrong way, all I'm saying is someone posts something they're excited about and the first reaction is to smack them down.  the go home comment was meant to be figurative, but whatever.  And yes, it is a soop portal, says so on the bottom of the site, and some of the skins came from soop skins, never once said that she or I coded the whole thing, but there are a few modifications that we have made.

    So, my apologies for blowing my stack, and from now on, I'll just ignore the flames.  Just didn't like seeing my wife upset was all. 

    In any case, appreciate the intrest as well as the disbelief, it's boosted the site on both sides and we're loving it have a good one....

    Quite the opposite....I had to get more web space because the 75mb filled up with posts....in 2 days! image
