I prefer skill based games. I get bored playing any one class, and like to jump around from one play style to another. In general, my preferences lie towards: Healing based classes, DOT based classes, and melee DPS classes.
The best, most innovative and fun class I ever played would have to be the Ritualist from Guild Wars. Rt have such variety of skills, from supportive, healing to strong ofensive and debuffing. Thers no better class in GW, or any other MMO.
Master Doctor/Master TKA Pre-CU Galaxies Cure anyone of anything, bring them back to life, run up on a lair wearing a dress and chop chop chop goes the TKA
Ranger/Rifleman Pre-Cu Galaxies Ranger a Incredibly fun and useful class. Just needed a little tweaking, not removal. Rifleman awesome.
Hunter Lord of the Rings online Most realistic bowman anywhere, anytime.

No...it really wasnt. For a while, people either went mana or void with light as a secondary. Light was supposedly gimp because of damage type, lack of AE, and a bunch of other bull shit reasons. There werent very many light spec elds. Hell, at lower levels there were nothing but voids.
Actually, I think more people started off with void, until bolts got "nerfed". Then mana elds and chanters were the thing to play...
Hands down the most interesting class I've ever come across. Couldn't say for sure but I don't think that twisting was ever a conscious design feature of the class. Made them very difficult to play well but incredibly satisfying. Real shame it has never been picked up by another game.
Bard in EQ 1. Hands down the most interesting class I've ever come across. Couldn't say for sure but I don't think that twisting was ever a conscious design feature of the class. Made them very difficult to play well but incredibly satisfying. Real shame it has never been picked up by another game.
Completely agree-the best class yet invented in any mmo. Brutal on the wrists over time but man was it fun to put together a nice series of twists, mezzes, etc. Talk about a class that required "skill" there really were some bards that hadnt a clue to guys that still amaze me with what they were able to do.
After EQ1 bard would be the EQ1 Shaman-another neat class with a whole bunch of fun features.
For me classes just havent measured up in every game since the orgionals UO, AO, EQ, DAOC--since then its all felt rather dumbed down, generic. Anything that was "difficult" has been removed-leaving a shell of what a class could be.
I love most tanking class normaly warrior typs nothing better than knowing how much power you have and all you have to do is log of to let every1 die he he.Nice to have people depend on you also tho.
Which Final Fantasy Character Are You? if I were to kill a titan tomorrow and no CCP employees showed up to say grats I would petition it. Waiting for: the next MMO that lets me make this macro if hp < 30 then CastSpell("heal") SpellTargetUnit("player") else CastSpell("smite") end
For me it has to be Ranger on EQ1 the game that i played the most.
I played Anarchy online/ Asherons call // city of heros / city of villains/// D&D online/ Dark ages of Camelot / Dark and Light/ Eve Online / everquest1 and 2 / Final fantasy XI / Guild Wars / Knights online / lineage and lineage2 / Lord of rings / Maple Story / Pirates of the burning sea / Planetside / RF online / Roma Victor / Saga of Ryzom/ Second life / Shadowbane / Silkroads / Star wars Galaxies / Vangaurd / WWII Online / World of Warcraft
These are the American games i played and there is others i played but cant remember them.
Heres the one i remeber ...>>>>>> Rapetz / Lost Chaes / Metin 2 and iam still playing Metin 2 .
I played mmos for about 11 years i think. I am 38 years old!

Daoc: Healer
Everquest 2: Troubadeur (sp? too lazy to look it up)
City of Heroes: Earth Controller
Bard in EQ 1.
