Reason i XC'd game account is due to the pathetic frames per second issues thats effecting the vast MAJORITY of players.
Just visit the technical part of forums to read other players issues.

ok bye
vast majority of player? so your saying the forum has almost 400k posts of people havening problems....wow
with the following specs, i could never get over 10fps outside
Amd 64 3500+ 2 gig ram, Ati 1650 pro, 2 maxtor 180gig hard disks, audigy sound card.
And still could not get it over that threshold of stability 20fps
Cancelled this morning..i just cant play aoc...i feel claustrophobic in there..and so many instancing and loading...something is wrong..no company would make an mmo like that...
holy crap, level 48? did you even try to play a different class? no wonder you don't like it anymore you practically burnt yourself out and didn't even enjoy the journey.
eckh...get a descent rig then...don't blame the game if you have a low spec rig

Rather than see new threads popping up constantly over the next few days (especially with general release within the next 24 hours), I thought it might be a good idea to get everyone singing from the same hymn sheet.
If everyone who is currently having issues could reply to this post using the following template:
~System specs~
Processor
GPU & Driver version
Memory
OS & version inc service packs.
~Performance~
CPU Usage
Memory Load
Average FPS on Low / Med / High
Any other pertinent info
I would like to add the following caveats:
If your system is running fine, grats, go troll somewhere else and don't come here to gloat.
Please try to stick to the format above so that any devs (hint hint) can immediately see any commonalities.
If you have any suggestions for a way to improve this template, please PM me and I will do my best to keep it up-to-date and relevant.
Should we receive any word from the Dev Team about this, I'll try and reserve the next few slots for updates.
Here's to helping this game achieve the potential we all know it has
Thanks in advance for your assistance guys.
so u guys are headed ebay i presume
well over 100....plz dont lie
what is ebay a new mmo?
As stated in a post I made.
People rushing to level cap intend to burnout, he did like the game, no doubt to level to the high 40's.
Now you can get some air and color to your skin and hear the birds sing outside.

someone is being generous with his fps count
i have a 3870x2 and a quad core and the only time i get more than 100 is in dungeons. everywhere else i get 30-60fps
You dont see the logic behind what you just posted do you?
IF you have a NVIDIA top end card and quad core you will be fine, thats cause NIVIDA is a Game partner and its going to work FFS
so you were going to continue playing if the vast MAJORITY of players wasn't affected ?
post counts on forums dont mean large numbers. 10 very pissed people with enough time under their belt can flood a forum.
and i care about their problem because?
I need more vespene gas.
If ya dont like it, dont play it, if your PC cant run it then upgrade like everyone else has to. Just stop comin here with your sob stories.
So because the technical support forum is full of player issues, you've concluded that the vast MAJORITY of players have frame rate issues? Besides players having problems, who else would typically be posting in the tech support forums? Geez.... Vast majority. Where do you people come up with this stuff?
Sorry i work in the IT business too and this is one pathetic graphic card to play this game...despite the issues ATI cards have atm with AoC. Im sure you know that so why all the hate? I am also sure it is being worked on by funcom..they would be dumb if not.
And how can someone work in IT not being a geek at heart and staying up to date on technology. How can you give clients good advises when working on stone age hardware (sorry hardware is stone age within months nowadays..im sure you know that too).
Get a decent rig..try it again...and as you already mentioned IT jobs are paid well and i know its not a frikken problem to get a new rig if you have a well paid IT job.
90-100 fps here. cancel anyway.
the game is just not good enough, and its sure not a mmorpg, never seen so many instances.
1997 UO made a whole world with not a single instance, now 10 years later they fail to do it.
thanks and sorry for my english.
btw your specs suck balls IF you want to play the latest games. its not like AoC demands much more of your rig then other heavy games like crysis. i mean cmon.. your vid card scores a mere 2.6k on 3dmark06.. even the latest budget cards like 9600 gt score over 10k. im even suprised u can start the game up :S
MMOs currently playing: -
About to play: Lord of the Rings Online
Played: Anarchy Online (alltime favorite) and lots of f2p titles (honorable mentions: 9Dragons, Martial Heroes, Dekaron, Atlantica Online)
For computer people the answer is right in the post whats causing FPS issues. its "ATI" if you do a little research you can figure out they have not really updated there stuff for the past two years. They have recently started again, due to complaints. Hence why Nvidia is getting most of the partnerships.
Just a side note 2Gb of ram is pretty much standard these days, 4GB is more of what you should be looking at also to help out.
Second of all, dude look at your rig, its what 3-4 years old now? be happy you get 20 FPS. I remember buying my new mainstream PC about 4 years ago about time when WoW released or something and I couldn't play WoW on high without going -20 FPS so stop whining about upgrading PC for AoC (in general all the whiners not just you).
If you are a serious gamer you have to have a decent rig every now and then. I can play the game on my new mainstream PC with 30-40 FPS smooth with HDR on, on high. Spec: AthlonX2 6000+, HD3850 512MB, 2GB DDR2 RAM. Hardly a 600$-700$ PC...
Q6600@3150Mhz, 4GB ram, 9800gtx 512mb, SB X-FI gamer and Vista x64 sp1.
Running at 1680x1050 High + 4xAA + High textures + bloom.
Out in the wilderness I get around 55(+-15)fps, cities 40(+-15)fps, Dungeons usually over 100fps.
BUT this game has been out a few days, there's always alot of performance issues after releases this big, and they can't be fixed in the blink of an eye. It takes time, sad but true.
But for you with that very very old computer and outdated gfx card, it's not very strange that you can't run the game as you would like. So since you are so well paid, why don't you buy some new hardware. My old rig was almost the same as your current one, and it was 4 years old, so I bought this one early this spring.
