this is not the best mmo ever, this has the best graphics for an mmo ever. the game is very rushed, the item lore is very generic and you dont feel rewarded for the items. in WOW sometimes i get items the make me feel like im leveling and getting stronger. in AOC items with +0.1 rating will likely still be on your body at level 22. makes no since and WTF is +0.1? Tortage is the very weak, they should have not had tortage night. They should of just had you level to 10 in the day and let you leave the island. 20 level to get off the island is way to much in such a small area. Tortage night was put in so they could double up the same small area, make you grind the same area twice to seem bigger. and you all fell for it. the graphics are great, im sure this game will be a million times better in a year, i will wait. I am cool with WOW right now. I am a graphics whore, but i love gameplay even more, AOC fell short, i feel like im going backwards when playing conan.

This game is amazing, i am lvl 18 Barbarian right now and have gotten used to the combat and it is revolutionary, once you get hang of it, i can see the brilliance of it all now
REVOLUTIONARY?! Are you KIDDING me? Its hardly revolutionary. Maybe it would be CLOSER to revolutionary if they still had kept the 6-8 directional combat in. But no, it was too complicated for the WoW kiddies in closed beta so they had to nerf it. God forbid they had something challenging and innovative in their game.

AoC is extremely well made, no question it is the BEST mmo ever of all time. I think everyone is in agreement on that The people who disagree are the ones with lousy horrible computers...here is a clue for ya....buy a new computer
Lousy computers? I have been reading these AoC forums for some time. I have read many people with advanced gaming rigs having serious problems. (maybe they don't know what they are doing, I don't know.) I have a moderate computer. It runs so-so. Anyone who buys upgrades exceeding the amount they payed for the game itself is A) rich, or not sane. Why spend X amount of dollars or euros on upgrading your PC when you can buy it for a console later for 60$? Flame on........lol

I think its funny how people compare this game to wow, I could see comparing to Lotro because of the graphics and the story/lore it has.. Lotro was a POS when it was launched, it was full of bugs, long loading zones, etc.. hmm that sounds familar.
Sure this game isn't the best ever made, but it is fun compared to Wow and Lotro, after playing wow since launch its time for something new, wow is just the same stuff. I found wow more fun before Tbc, and when wotlk comes out guess what... 10 more lvls, different talents, a few new zone, but in the end its the same, grind, raid, crapppy pvp.
I can't say this is the best game ever created, but its prolly my 2nd best mmo experiance. Swg being my first i have yet to find a game that i had as much fun as i had on that one (well before they destroyed it ), but then again its my opinion.
Plus AOC draws an older fanbase, most the people complain are prolly kiddies that find the game to complicated and that can't BOT to make money or lvl and find the combat system to complicated for them cause they accually have to do something besides afk and autoattck.

I don't get why wow has pvp server, no world pvp happens or if it does it seldomly does, noone in wow world pvps anymore cause there is no reward in it, your time is better spent grinding honor in bgs then tryin to find ppl to kill in world pvp. All the world pvp in wow is higher lvls camping SouthShore/Taren Mill and i guess that isn't the same as AoCs pvp servers of ganking / spawn camping.

I also agree with you that Age of Conan is next generation graphics and gameplay and word is spreading fast that this is the best mmo of all time
