Warhammer Universe, PvP that actually matters...Chaos Chosen...and a few other intangibles that the game has.
Though I still wish that the 40k MMO was the one close to release.
see the only thing about the 40k MMO im gonna just be ugh about is its still a MMORPG i always thought it would be better followed to be a MMOFPS following the idea of planetside.
RvR - but not for the sake of RvR. I say RvR and I specifically mean how integrated RvR is into everything. It is going to be awesome to see a game where you can drop back and fourth between PvE and PvP elements while leveling and have it all mean something and all lead towards a common goal - that's why I'm excited for RvR and WAR
Well to be honest from what little I've read it's not idiot-centric. Meaning it doesn't appear to be the run of the mill dumbed down for the lowest common denominator of person that doesn't want to think to play a game. It's not WoW-trailer park.

I want something new and different, this promises that. Im sick of games claiming to be "new and different" but when they come out, they are sorely lack in either. I wasnt on the hype-wagon for AoC, but I did think it had different in there... wasnt new.
I like dark elves, always have, always will. Not sure why because I never really liked the whole ultra-evil Drow in DnD. I did like the matriarchal society though. Maybe its because they are usually sexy...
I love fantasy, cant stand scifi outside of movies, if the two have just the right amount of mixing, its perfect.
Playing a game where my actions, whether PVE or PVP/RVR actually MATTER and make an impactful difference in the realm. Horizons almost got this right, from a PVE aspect. WAR puts it together and more in a pretty package with bloody bows and ribbons.
Defintely RvR...I love to siege keeps and such and I know Mythic does it the best. But especially the fact that no matter what I do, it's a war. And I'm contributing to the war in almost every way. Also, the crafting system seems...different, I'm not a crafter but this may actually change my gameplay personality a bit. Lastly, there's something...from what I've seen of Empire lands, I don't know...I just want to explore it, they look so realistic like a real late Medieval land.

The naturally nervous Skaven run and hide from the imaginary threat. He escapes. The Skaven regroup and bring out the Elf. Being very smart, the Elf has figured out what to do. When the Skaven get ready to shoot, the Elf, in order to scare them, yells, "Fire!"
RvR, in particular siege of the keeps and taking over the other races castles.
I saw the interview on it with the ingame footage, and i got that old excited feeling of a new game on the horizen that i just cant wait to get into.
This is probably the most excited about a new game ive been in a long time. including vanguard, aoc,potbs and all the others that have come out in the last year.
WAR has given me back that "i cant wait" feel for a new game.
It seems like fun. Mythic wants it to be fun. I don't care anymore if the game have the best graphics, the biggest world, if it's instanced or not. I just want it to be fun. And Mythic seems to think like I do. Their main goal is to make it fun for RvR, PvP and PvE people, how the game will suit the hard core role players I don't now but hopefully all player styles will have fun! Also many of my irl friends seems to be wanting to play this game too, and a game for me is 10 times more fun if I have irl friends in it to play with!
There are a ton of features that are exciting about this game, the RvR is very interesting. But the biggest factor for me is that my real friends are looking into playing this game more then any other. This is due to the fact that we think it will be fun and that is the most important thing to us. I believe that any game and any time can stop being fun, so it a natural progression to move to new games. While AOC is the current game, I am already losing my focus on it and looking to WAR. It just seems to pack the most fun into a MMO in a long time. I really hope the hype is close to what this game will be. I already bought my preorder (funny enough on the same receipt as my AOC purchase) and hope to have a great time. Here to a market full of succesfull MMO.

For me it's the RvR system.

This game wont be "groundbreaking", its gonna be DAoC2..which isnt a bad thing.

I been a fan of the Warhammer universe since the mid to late 1980's. Been waiting for this MMORPG to be released for a long time. Its almost here.
Now I am waiting for 40K to release more details about its MMORPG.
When they said that we are getting a dedicated Australian server, I took note.

No other game has had me hooked like DAoC..I spent 3 and a half days straight playing that game when it first came out!!
Since then I've tried most other MMO's for a change of scenery, but sadly most have those have been a let down.
I just KNOW WAR is going to be good because I actually trust Mythic to make a decent game..It can't be worse than DAoC and that was great!
And yes, I am a DAoC fan :P
