I have tried 10+. Star Wars Galaxies was my first and favorite. The CU ruined it for me.
You need like a more than 80 option! There are tons of them out there now! As far as first...graphically it was Ultima Online, but my favorite will always be Final Fantasy XI...

Anarchy Online was my first favorite and im still playing SWG pre-cu was by far the best MMO i've played but that was short lived.
My first MMORPG was ragnarok online, but the favorite one is realy R.O.S.E. online. That brings up some memoris....

Started playing Everquest when the Kunark expansion came out. Played all the way up to the omens of war expansion. Overall the game had some crappy code, was glitchy and annoying at times, but I made friends i still have today and play other games with. Also did some really cool stuff in that game i haven't really seen in newer mmo's. Good times.

My first MMO would be Ultima Online and it was my favorite. I played it from 1997 until around the middle of 2003 and never canceled during that time.
SWG was a close second but after the CU I didn't play much and the NGE was death.
I really wish someone would take the idea of UO and make a modern game out of it. I just am not into these level based games with uber loot and no player economy.
I've tried EvE and played Ryzom a bit and they had some good points to them.. but neither got me hooked like UO or SWG did.
The one I enjoyed the most was Runescape. But then I guess most people enjoyed their first the most.

First MMO was Lineage 2.
Second MMO is Vanguard. That is also my favorite.
As I dont exactly love the hassle with registering your credit card etc, I'm not eager to test many MMOs before settling for one.

. As for favorite thats a bit harder cause imo its all about who you play it with for example although i didnt play it for very long mabye 40 hours or so I had a lot of fun in Lotro just messing around with some mates

My first and favorite was "Tibia" and "Ragnarok" I started in 1999 with tibia got me into the genre and until today lot of hours wasted on mmos

I've tried way over 10. Guild Wars is always the one I come back to. The Saga of Ryzom was fun. Sadly I never got much play time in before the servers shut down. I'm glad they're coming back online soon though!

First was Earth & Beyond.
Favorite was SWG pre-CU.
I have played well over ten MMORPG's since I started in July 2003 with SWG.
SWG was my first and is still my favourite by FAR. The CU was the first nail in the coffin and the NGE was the absolute end for me though. Such a shame, it really was a great game once upon a time.

Playing - EVE Online.
Played (Retired) - AO, SWG, MxO, WoW, RFO, SoR, CoX, EQ2, GW, L2, Vanguard, LotRO, AoC, TCoS, Aion.
Favourite MMO - Pre-CU SWG, 3 Years, 4 Accounts, 2 Pre-CU Jedi (1 Pre-9).
Awaiting - Star Wars: The Old Republic, The Secret World, Earthrise.
My first MMO was runescape. Played that for a while, then I got bored with it.
But I think my faveorite is most probably maplestory. Angels Online comes up close to it, though.

I have played more than 10 MMOs
My first MMO and my favourite was SWG. I first purchased it in 2003 and played it non stop till nov 2005. I still compare every MMO I play to this one.

The original EQ was my first, and I was blown away. I didn't play UO, but I've certainly listened to plenty of rants about UO pre-trammel.
I"ve played a lot, some just betas and then didn't play the game on release. The ones I've liked besides EQ are EQ2, which actually had kinda fun PvP, DAoC both for it's PvE which IMO was well done and the RvR which was very fun, and City of Heroes which was just a casual fun game which was like a breath of fresh air, although not quite deep enough to keep me interested for a long time.

Well yeah, ive played/tried in excess of 40 games but i keep going back to games i have played before. Eve/EQ/EQ2.. but oh well
well mine has to be ultima online when it first came out since it was groundbreaking and new followed by swg . dont seem to like the newer mmorgs they all seem to be dumbed down more .
sad that origin got taken over by EA would be interesting to see what they would be doing
First and for always... Star Wars Galaxies! The one game to rule them all...
Nothing compared to it, nothing ever will until the second installment is released. Please let it be sooner than later.
