The eagerly awaited open beta test for Neocron 2: Beyond Dome of York has begun! Neocron 2 is the sequel to the world's only cyberpunk MMORPG and features a realtime, FPS-like combat system. Explore this postapocalytpic world together with other testers from all over the world. Beta Client download locations.

     I'll look forward to trying it out. I've always wanted to try a Cyberpunk MMO, just wanted to try it free first before i knew what i'm getting myself into.

    Don't bother.

    It's not new. It's the same 2 years old game. As you can read here  http://neocron2.jafc.de/showthread.php?t=109824 

    They added new town and some good, some bad and some useless features and items. And changed character models to anime-manga-ish crap. And beta client is so unstable it crashes every 10-15 minutes. Wait for retail, wait few months to see if they can fix retail bugs, then check again. But only if you NEED to play a sci-fi MMORPG.

    Yeah the Bittorrent doesnt work since everyone exits Bittorrent when they finished download...

    But the beta is on FilePlanet aswell now.

    And noone ever said its a new game, the just called it NC-2 to clearify that you dont need NC-1 to play it.

    Its an improved rerelease of NC-1 with better gfx engine, new content, new mobs, new city, new modells, more roleplay due to faction vendors...

    Atm its a buggy, but its being patched daily so hopefully the major bugs will be gone soon.

    NC-1 is the best MMORPG out there due to its combat system, and NC-2 will eventually be even better.

    as Fredr28 said, it is not a new game, but it is a re-release. And again as he said, it is the best mmo ever, because of the pvp system and the fact that it is not as newbie-friendly as other mmos tend to be... The PvP system is basicly, if you take you Law Enforcer out you can get killed, everywhere...

    I cannot connect to the server. I have tried the password many times. i have also tried requesting a new password and the new one did not work. Any ideas?

    Hey guys, I would like to try this game(never tried Neocron1), but I dont know if I can play it as I cant find the system reqs anywhere. Could u tell me pls?
