Okay first of all, Dienekes, why did you not go and see the movie WITH your gf btw? Just thought I should point that out. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
RE:A, if you compare it to the other good movies out there, then this movie is crap. But if you watch it for what it has to offer, action, T&A, zombies, and made after a game, what more could you possibly want? Seriously now, only the older crowd would say such things about the RE:A. Personally, it was okay, it gave action, T&A, zombies, and made after a game, so thus, I am happy.

The movie was very entertaining. I didn't go to think about story and specifics on details. I just went because i was a RE fan and i like zombie movies, and this one was really good. I'd personally say it was much better then the first one. They also added comic releaf (A blackguy who talks to much), which made it very entertaining. But ultimatly you'd have to go see if for yourself. I dont get why you people sit at home doing nothing but talk about weather you should go or not, i mean c'mon its a movie not Auto-shopping.
Well I didn't go with her because I had this little thing called work. I don't doubt that the movie is good btw. I'm just very disappointed because from the sound of it the only relation to Resident Evil the games is the name and the zombies. Oh and I suppose Umbrella. My only thing is I like my movies that are based on games to be closer to the games. Assuming the storyline is a good one (which RE had a very good storyline in the first 3 games). It was the same problem I had with the FF movie which I really loved.

I remember one movie that kept really close to its games, so close that it even had game footage intergrated right in the movie. It was call "House of the Dead" man thats gotta be the worst movie I've ever seen. Yah i agree that the first 3 games had a really good story line, but I im sure its quite pointless making the movie exactly like the game... whats hte point of watching if you already played the game? So really what im saying is if you want a good story, go play the game, but if you want something entertaining and enjoyable and quite unpredictible, then the movie is just that.
Final fantasy was a great movie, though I was dissapointed to find out that it wasn't what i expected. The problem with the FF movie, was that when they named it "Final Fantasy" people assume that there would be knights, and swords with dragons...you know the "Fantasy" part. Instead they got this Sci-Fi flick. Maybe if they found a different name for it people would get that assumption and expectation. Also i think another problem it didn't do so well was the fact that thte main character is a women. Many things where the heroin is a femail doesnt seem attractive to guys (Unless its Tomb Raider ^^ ) .
Yea, I think what I would have liked with Resident Evil would to have at least had Jill, Barry, and the rest of the Stars members (had them accurately casted) and have them in the mansion. All I would have liked is point A and point B to be the same from game to movie...I could care less if they change how one got from point A to B. If you understand what I'm saying than cudos to you. lol
As far as House of the Dead goes....it was just very poorly directed. lol
