I am outing myself here: yes, I am a big Naruto fan. But a Naruto MMo? No. I prefer MMOs which are diverse and have many cultures, races asf and which are not narrowd down to one them, be it Pirates or Ninjas or whatever, so no from me.

Why do everyone only look at the stupid television show...Naruto is a lot more than that, the plot is amsolutely amazing...I mean don't people here read Naruto fan fiction...Same thing about Harry Potter the last 3 books were crap, but the plot is awesome, the possibilities are limitless.

Yes, to me a Naruto MMO would be fantastic, if I had the money to buy the IP and make the MMO it would be the first thing I would invest my money in.....
I would definately play it if it met the right conditions. In my opinion the Naruto (translates to Fire WirlWind) franchise is set up to make one of the greatest mmorpgs of all time via how its setup.
The problem is people only look at the Cartoon version of it. Thats their first mistake. The franchise is much better in comic form and as the main character grows up the story becomes even darker.
You have a dozen nations and within those nations you have scattered ninja villages, each with their own skills and families. The political and possible class system could be amazing. The game would make a great action mmorpg with stealth and massive pvp.
very true. naruto manga > naruto cartoon. the cartoon likes to add in new characters and extra stories that makes the story a drag. the manga is alot more fast paced. take for instance, in the naruto shippuden series, the character "Sora" and the whole Coup De'at thingy attack on Konoha doesn't even exist in the manga...it's a filler story to make someone's death in the near future more emotional or whatsoever...or it could just be a dumb filler to make the cartoon series last for years to come.

doesnt sem like a bad idea to me.
1. 5 different countries= 5 different starting points
2. all countries have allies and enemies.
3. 3 types of combat customization( taijustu, genjustu, ninjutsu)
4. elemental combat customization.
5. jobs ( military, local ninja, spies, ambu, cooks, etc)
6.Rare Jutsu mastery( you can work to combine jutsu to your own unique style)
this is just basic stuff im thinking of. feel free tro add but i dotn see it being that bad of an idea.
To be honest, many anime can be good mmos with teh right ideas. I wouldnt make an mmo with half the stuff that we are still doign right now imo.

yes naruto would make a great mmo. it has lots of role playing and typical mmo element in it. it also have a buffer and healer.
