Will you buy the expansion that will be released Q1 or Q2 in 2009 and implement all the things that are currently missing in the game.
I'm baffled that 15 people wants to pay for the content that was supposed to be in the game by now.

Talk about a premature poll. A short one line comment is all we know, with no clue what features might be included, (its presumptious of you to assume it will be the current content) and of course, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the results, especially if they don't deliver things like DX10 before then.

Given the problems with the current game to which I still have an active subscription, i would never spend any money on another Funcom product ever again unless they can turn it around fairly quickly.
The release of this game left a bad taste in peoples mouth. Anyone with at least a little bit of common sense won't dish out money from their wallet to pay for more lies.

Exept for the major screwup of all time called the NGE update in SWG, SOE always delivered with their expansions in EQ1 and EQ2.
Both EQ1 and EQ2 are good games. I am still having fun with EQ2 and SOE won't pull a NGE on EQ2 ever! So none of the EQ2 players is worried about that. The EQ2 devs and their whole family are having a blast themselves in that game (unlike the case it was with SWG), so there is a lot of love and care from the devs themselves going into that game.
SOE is doing a great job with EQ2. The SOE bashing is always based on the NGE with SWG. It's getting old! People should get over it and move on!

Im happy that the world will get bigger, and well what's 20-30 dollars ? A couple of movie tickets ? A few beers ..
There has been statements regarding this that aswell, the expansion is beiing worked on by a separate team that has NOTHING to do with the rest of the game...Wich in turn has it's own team..

Why would I pay for something that should have been in the game to start with.
Funcom is going to be very sorry they are releasing that content as an expansion. They will be better off spending the time preparing for server merges around that time.
This is the problem I have with posting non factual data, It will end up as being thought of as fact.As of now it's speculation they are going to do that .(That isn't saying I think they won't ) But the only announcement that has been made as of now. Was they are working on an expansion , Due in 09 . Which doesn't say much , It may or may not have such content within.

It's no flamebait. It's reallity and common sense.
After more then 2 months they destroyed the game more then it was already with launch! Every patch down the line seems to be worse then the one before.
They honestly have no idea what they doing anymore. Be it the stress or just horrific code mess that makes good patching impossible.
Fact is, that nothing new has been added since launch. Only a bunch of more NON-delivered promisses with Game Director letters in a desperate attempt to retain subscribers!
So you really think they going to implement ALL the missing and promised content before the end of this year?

While I'm still enjoying the game with my girl just fine....
Coming out with an expansion pack so soon looks desperate on FC part.
What I'd like them to fix is the lag spikes that occur every 20 min or so causing a client lock for 5-10 seconds. ....FC, fix that will ya?
I like this game.... it's got potential to be a decent fantasy MMO. (I don't include the sci-fi genre in this statement)
polish what they have and it can be decent....
the ppl that skipped 20+ lvl's kinda tend to complain i notice cause they skipped all the mid lvl content... the Field of the dead has been pretty fun for us going through the 40's
I'd complain about stuff alot more if i'd skipped from 25 to 70 in a day. Guess some ppl really want instant gratification eh? lol.
I don't think at this point I'd buy an expansion.... I didn't buy swg's expansions early...nor wow's....I won't change my trend with AoC.

To answer you......AFCOURSE NONE WOULD BUY!, why should we buy something we already bought but wasn't implimented right?
Now.....If FC had not talked about AoC having these feature's in its game or at release but if these feature's would be considered to be added in a expension it become's a different story as then I think people might consider buying.
Now .....If the expension has new things to ADD to the game, not meaning ADD things that already should have been in the game but add things on top of what is and should be in the game I am sure people will also buy it.
The expansion should be named Age of Conan: Sucker Bait. Pay your $50 for the bug fix expansion. Funcom the heir to Mourning....

What concern is it of yours? It's their money, not yours. I stopped paying my monthly fee and won't return unless it improves. I'm not holding out much hope for WAR. Vanguard is fun for me right now.
But, lay off the people that enjoy the game. Your hate towards them makes no sense.
