    First off I'd say if you don't like a game just because of the graphics you are a pretty shallow person, which I guess is why you are playing a shallow mmorpg like AOC.

    WAR graphics aren't anymore cartoony than say EQ2 and certainly aren't cartoony like WoWs.  WAR is more comic book than cartoon.

Why do you think ANYONE would care that you in particular think that WAR's UI and art direction style is similar to WoW? Why? Are you a pathological megalomaniac or something? What's wrong with you?     Hey.. as long as both play well then good. I'll play WoW for my PVE fix and I'll play Warhammer for my PVP fix.

WoW is McDonalds and WAR is a world famous bar that has been designed for years while WoW just put whatever was on the market and dumbed it down...

    I accept your hamburger analogy. That is if one of the hamburgers is a POS from  McDonlads with one pickle, and the other 100%Kobe beef on a Kaiser roll with Chipotle Mayo and a side of fresh macaroni salad. (Guess which is which)

    Is this guy foreal!? Serious dude, they are both from the same IP. It's no different than owning a restaraunt franchise. World of Warcraft bought the IP from Gamesworkshop long ago and used the lighter aspect of the Warhammer IP.  Mythic recently bought the IP and used the darker side to depic it, but overall they have to use certain graphics/textures/models...they are one in the same at the end of the day.

    Take a look at GW miniatures. They are 'cartoony'. WAR is adhereing to the artistic sensibilities of GW. WoW copied the artistic sensibilities of GW.

    How do you define cartoony? Sorry but WAR doesn't use the extreme colorful graphics of WoW and while weapons etc are somewhat exaggerated it isn't overboard like in WoW. 

    Did you think DAOC was cartoonish?  I mean check out the screenshots of the current game and they dont' really look much different than WAR does, they just aren't quite as good...

    I could be wrong but i thought the story was this.

    The original dev's of WAR sold alot of art to Blizzard after they determined they wouldn't be developing WAR. That's why WoW looks like WAR.

    You showed it yourself, put an armor to the bear-like monster and you have something very similar to the WAR orc. Cartoon FTW.

    I shouldnt have to. The post that I initially replied to, was itself, leaning towards the 'insulting' end of the spectrum rather than any rational argument. I responded to your insult with insult. Tit for tat. Did the pot just call the kettle black? I think it did.
