Orcs, Trolls, Undead, and Taurens! They're more fun to look at.
Nightelf's are tight. Not to be anti-conformist, but I'm not going to play NE because they will be over played. NE rouge/hunter will be played in mass.
I vote tauren. Sweet ass towns, and very sweet looking. Tauren will probably be the biggest choice for druid although it should be NE.

you know whta....i agree trolls do rock....popular or not im sticking with night-elves but.....you can make up to 8 characters so.....since i want a character in each (alliance and horde) well I think ill make a troll....(pretty cool since there both tall!)

What I found when testing chars in the ST beta I played both Tauren and NE druids got both to lvl 12 and moved on to the lvl 11+ areas, both had skinning/leatherworking and I must say the Tauren lands are more favorable for a skinner cuz EVERYTHING you kill is skinnable. In the NE lands only the nightsabers are skinnable (Except critters like rabbits and deer). And the nightsabers are part of a quest for the most part and are hard to find cuz they are already dead and most likely skinned already. When I got done play testing my druids I had more skinning/leathercrafting skill points with my tauren then my NE and LESS playtime too cuz I wasnt spending an insane ammount of time trying to lvl up my skinning/leathercrafting like I was with my NE. Hunting down nightsabers blows when everyone is hunting the same thing especially with all the hunters/rogues/druids going skinning/leathercrafting >_<
Wow...that is interesting...I figured the Night Elves would be popular...but not that much so.
I figured that would be a sizeable amount wanting to play orcs...simply from playing the Warcraft series of games in the past.

My only reason for playing Night Elf is that they have the best animations. Dwarves are also an option although they do not make adequate rouges so I'll have to scratch them out (although they'll make a nice warrior alt).
If you look at the animation of the human and orc races you immidiatly get a feeling of forced movment and unnatural stences. (... acctually I think the humans move like a stereotypical,, homosexual, hunk directly from a low budget holywood production)

after the week of stress test... all of them look cool and seem cool to play. i played an orc and darkelf rogue and i find an orc rogue much more fun to play. i have no one favorite personally, except the gnome. don't really see myself playing a gnome at any given time. but i will have a character of each race eventually
why dont you???? i meen humans in ffXI i find cool...but in WoW they look soooo plain....bluh...dont you think the others at least look cool....why dont you like them??

Cause I am human, and I always want to play myself in an RPG, I can't get into a character that isn't like me.
races like dwarves, gnomes, undead, orc, and tauren I find to be goofy looking

Yep, I've always been the blue skinned rogue/assassin/thief... and no other race suits it like the night elf...
but my alt has always been the comical gnome warrior...
