What do people think will be the first one to get the nerf? I am still a WAR noob but I am planning to main a healer probably Zealot. My vote goes to Magus....no real reason I can give.

Well since i can't read minds, I can't tell you what people will think what caeer will be nerfed first.
And since I can't tell you without breaking the NDA, I'm not going to be able to tell you either.
But I'm sure that balancing issues will be dealt most probably before launch. I could see maybe a few re-balancing and mastery changes, but nothing too huge.
But nothing is for certain, well just have to wait and see, hopefully it won't be Chosen (the class I'm playing ).
have a funny feeling it will be the runepriest, then again maybe that is just because thats the class I will be playing.
If someone had came up to me in 1980 when I was on my Atari 2600 and said we will be playing games with thousands of people at the same time.I guess my response would have been,"but I only have 2 joysticks"

It is a shame isn't it that MMORPG's are used to nerfing classes at all..
its a regular thing on some games.. and we all expect it.
If a game is put together right, before launch, then it shouldnt need nerfing ever.. until an expansion or something occurs. Yes there might be a slight imbalance.. but when has a nerf ever solved an imbalance without creating others?
I'm hoping WAR takes the approach of not altering the classes much post launch.. but I doubt it will be the case.
I am going to step out and say White Lion. Its a pet class and almost all pet classes are overpowered.

This can be determined scientifically by listening to General Chat during the first month of retail release.
When you hear players in one particular class constantly saying, "lolz I rox an pwnz yall," that is the class that is going to get nerfed.
Which is cool because you then get the satifaction of listening to all the crying of the fomer pwnzerizers who got their just desserts.

I get the feeling that engineers will be the first to get the nerfhammer.

Guys! I'm hopelessly lost in a mountain of mole hills! Them damn moles!
Just from watching some of the vids and hearsay I can see 3/4 classes that look a wee bit overpowered.
I'd say:-
White Lion
Magus/Engineer
Marauder
I'm going to pick whichever class at launch is rumored to be the most underpowered.
That way, when the first wave of post-launch balancing comes in, my class will suddenly get overcompensated and rock.
If you can so eeasily nerf and remove classes it just shows the poor design and thought that has gone into a game as if any has it will destroy balance.
Shame Shame Shame.

If you don't like warhammer then get the hell out of the forum ?

Runepriest won't be nerfed. More than likely it will be the Witch Elf and Witch Hunter. This is coming from friends that know more than I do of the current state. Apparently the Runepriest, Shadow Warrior, and Bright Wizard aren't doing so hot and will need to be helped out a bit. I am not in Beta. Take it for what you will.
*cough NDA cough*

If most of the classes are overpowered maybe its just a couple classes need to be buffed?
Why the hell do we have to start whinning about class balance already?
because it IS a big part of the game.....i agree with the bright wizard i mena i play a sorc with is suppossed to mirror the BW and it out DPS the BW by a huge amount (not breaking the NDA with out being in beta =] =])
lets see...i plan on playing a black orc so...most likely black orc will be the ones to get a nerf
MMO wish list:
-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
hands off my engy :P
Definitly going to be the ironbreaker because that is what my main is gonna be
Pretty much all the WAR naysayers ARE NOT PVP'ers, but rather everquest fairy boys who can't wait for their NEW HAIRSTYLES and DANCES, that they can show off to the opposing faction as they hold hands and sing cumbayah in Dalaran inbetween killing boars and 30 of everything for Nessingwary for the THIRD straight time.
Generally the nerfbat hits the classes that can dual-role really well. Things like damage mitigation, crowd control, healing, DPS, etc. If your character can do more than 2 of them really well, count on the bat.
Melee classes across the board will be toned down(cept black orc and ironbreaker)
DPS casters will get a big boost in survivability
White Lion will receive several fixes
Engineer will be the first to receive a major boost.
Jeff Kaplan will take over for lead design afterwards and destroy the game, making it raid centric and epeenable.
you want me to have nightmares or something?
I think instead of nerfing one class they need to buff the spells and abilitys designed to counter the "OP'd" class. That way the players playing that class dont lose PvE abilities along with it.
Wow this many posts and no mention of Warrior Priest so far?
Yeah, hands down if one class should be nerfed, it would be the WP. Again and again and again.
the problem with melee/healer hybrids is the fact they dont have as much dmg out put cause they sacrafice that for healing. unless the devs in WAR wanna break that mold and make the heals crappy.

Or they can tone down the massive damage that WP seem to dish out, just saying that's my guess.
