Posting of any account details (especially I've cancelled, cancellation screens, etc.) is against the forum rules and social guidelines.
Damn half you luck that you even got an email, i got nothing. Not one email or warning via a mod closeing a thread. My threads disapeared. After which i was bumped off the forums and can no longer login due to infractions.
I was out of line however, I was asking the community who was not resubscribing this month... hence the ban i guess. Just thought i would have at least received an email of some sort.

I also deleted my credit details, because thats how weird I feel about this company.

The paramilitary mods on the U.S. forums are getting out of hand as well. It's interesting but I saw a bunch of threads locked here yesterday. Perhaps they're like the Borg?
Nah some dude necroed like 6 threads. Basically they were old fanboi threads and then he said "told you so".
It was kind of funny though, since half the OP's in those threads no longer post much and one decided Vanguard had a better release than AoC.
Anyway even someone who isn't an AoC fan reported the guy.
Im starting to see more and more of this behavior on the MMORPG.com forums as well. You would be surprised how many posts get deleted because they dont agree with the opinion of the person, bans and warnings are tossed around like confetti at a celebration.
Ive just counted at least 6-7 threads closed today by Tahitoa on the EU boards. All non offensive threads. And there where at least 3 i cannot find. Probably deleted.
Basically Tahitoa, Famine and Lufkin are just deleting, moving, locking and censoring criticism left right and center all over the EU and US forum boards for AOC
It's actually interesting to watch the posts disappear after you've read them when you refresh the page.

The sooner people, companies, learn from the mistakes of others the better off they will be. It is lunacy to me that Funcom is ignoring the major issues this game has with losing players and adding content. Ignoring it publicly will only make the paying playerbase angry and put off.
Admit mistakes, admit the game is largely incomplete, admit you are losing players, admit that the gripes of your customers are largely legit, and stop censoring the forums like this. I don't post over there because it's a joke.
Companies who admit their mistakes and work with their customers to fix them will enjoy much more success than companies like SOE and Funcom.

I know.... I have gone rounds with Lufkin, and he is a moron. He acts like a DEV and some players think he is... He stalks me in every thread, and has even closed a decent thread saying that I was the one who derailed it...lol
i am very angry at the handling of thread and subsequent comment i posted about motion sickness you should not respond to people in such a manner neither should you delete and lock threads of this nature. if someone is reporting motion sickness you should treat it as bug report. the way you handled the situation can be construed as discrimination.
as i stated before motion sickness is a very serious issue and should not be side stepped. company's have delayed their games to ensure such reactions were not induced. Funcom and its moderators should not remove posts as they are not better then their peers
this has potential lawsuit all over it, i demand a public apology from luffy and Hackthorr who deleted my response for their appalling mishandling of this issue, at first i was half jokingly commenting but i was serious about the poor manner in which it was handled now i am severely angered

I've started noticing how fast critical posts disappear.
Yet there is a huge fanboy rant "Thank you Funcom" full of insane drivel and no facts posted on the front page, that actually has mods coming in and taking the thanks like they are film stars.
But post a "This game is dead" thread that gets more responses and more views, and the thread mysteriously disappears.
Using official forums as a PR tool is no great mystery I guess.
Rome is burning and 'Mod Squad' keep pouring on the gas. I don't see a Phoenix being able to rise outta these ashes. I try to think how this whole fiasco could become any more amateur, I am sure FunCom will show me how soon.
How about today's patch, which contains the entirety of around 40 mins worth of fixes
At a time when the whole AOC playerbase is quitting, it is an impressive failure
Don't waste so many words when "AoC is a joke" uses less words and covers so infinitely much more. It probably covers everything that will ever need to be said about this game.
