I think this game has failed because of Funcoms Ignorance and its good so.

I hope this game dies like AC2 did when Turbine (was it Turbine ?) been the same Ignorant Idiots.
Thousands of cunstomers complained and they just did what they thought is the right  and at the end the servers closed and the game died..
The Level 1-20 Fanbois end up here after beeing banned from the Funcom forums sooner or later as well.

The servers show medium because Funcom has fixed that statistic. A friend of mine who just canceled said that the EU servers still showed medium in the middle of the night and very early morning while ingame there was no soul to be found (logical as almost everyone is asleep then).

There is a good reason they suddenly dissabled the /who and player search statistic functions ingame. Because Funcom has something to hide as their new anual financial report is coming out!

We will see if the stockholders will buy the same lies and promisses we had to endure for months.

It will be tragic actually.  These developers know that scores of players truly want something to replace WoW for them.  There are those simply looking for a new environment to re-experience the glory days of their first steps in an emmersive mmo and people like myself also screaming for more pvp focus.  Warhammer promised to be all of that--PvP with secondary pve focus instead of the other way around.  If it turns out the mythic simply tried to profit off of players desires instead of honestly trying to meet the demand I hope they get what they deserve.  Flagship showed the world what happens to a company that does this: you get your company name turned into a neat little term for being screwed over.  Mythic making their OB exclusive is not a good sign no matter how you twist it.  EA shows signs of wanting to distance themselves from Mythic.  It could also hurt EA and might be the beginning of that company losing ground.  Will the world one day be dominated by the great Activision-Blizzard?  Stay tuned.

    you totally lost me there

Froob is what new players playing on free/ad-supported accounts in Anarchy Online are called.

Free Account + "Noob" = "Froob"

So really, because the term isn't tied into the name of the game itself, it's perfectly usable in that context in any game with free/ad-supported accounts, really :).

the thing about being a publicly traded company is that if your stocks tank and your company folds then there is no chance in hell of your servers being strung onlong on life support. sony is the exeption to this rule because for the longest time SOE was part of sony pictures. so it  didnt really matter if swg lost all its playerbase because Sony Pictures just had to release another spiderman movie to come back up on top so any divisions with in sony pictures profited. that is why SOE has never folded.

Failcom on the other hand do not have these types of safety measures in place to protect their gaming division from tanking and being shut down. the suits over at funcom are in panic mode big time right now and are trying everything they can to funnel what cash they do have to some off-shore accounts so the crediters cannot bother them. i sense a few years of hell for the administration of Failcom. Chapter 11 is being worked on at the moment. they are preparing for the worst.

releasing patches to fix this game are the last priorities. they know they cannot make it out of this hole in this industry in time to bring their stocks back up. Microsoft has already sent the email out about how xbox360 doesnt really need a game of this type on thier list. unlike Failcom, microsoft does not want to cheat thier customers with such a tarnished name.
