He said it was about as good as the great games we compare it to (we aren't comparing it to really anything currently?). If it is about as good that means that it is not AS GOOD thus meaning that the games we "compare it to" are, in fact, better.

As you see AoC is "about" up to the point where the other games are. However, we learn in basic maths that the "other" is actually higher up on the number line, and as such, higher. Or in other words it is a greater value.
Age of Conan can not be "better" then the other games if it is "about as good" as them.

Sir I say that you are trolling for saying it's a good game.
He is certainly trolling if he says its better than a quality produced game like TF2. Not saying he should like it better than AoC but its clearly far higher quality.

Oh my, they had the unmitigated gall to put AoC into the same category as Portal. Of course they put Soulstorm in the mix too which had its problems. But eh associating and awesome and truly innovative game like portal with a scam like AoC is sad.
