There are I dont know how many miles of unchartered forests / plains on this earth. Why do we think we know all thats out there?

They expect us to believe that this is Bigfoot. Yet another hoax in the making. But i must say that at least finally someone has the decency to not insult our intelligence by providing a clear picture for a change instead of all the previous fuzzy unfocused rubbish that comes out when anyone claims to have seen something.

I saw some Myth hunter program and it was pathetic, these hunters wanted to believe it so much that they were lying to themselves that they saw him and the only time they apparently saw him was when the camera crew wasn't with them.

There have been plenty of incidences where creatures were said to exist and people called them myths or legends. And they were later found out to be true.

The funniest thing about this, is the fact that people will still be claiming it's a fake long after the DNA is resolved just because the picture looks like somebody's costume. Or, they just can't handle the fact that science doesn't have the answers they expect.
I find it harder to believe that 2 law enforcement guys would willingly destroy their careers with an easily-proved hoax, than it is to believe in Bigfoot.
As I said, there will be some serious plates of hot crow served if this is verified..
Well, let's see. If this is true, then
1) Let the religious people know we found the missing link and they can join us in modern society now.
2) Get your tickets now if you plan to go looking for Nessie or aliens, because nothing will be out of the realm of possibility now.
3) If there's one, there's gotta be more. And there's an empty space above my fireplace.
LOL perfect teeth, must be a good dentist out in that forest. Honestly it is impossible for a 7foot man ape to survive this long on this earth without ever being discovered with remains. The creature first of all is to big to be sustainable in that environment, it would be more plant eater then anything. It would need to eat tons of plants to sustain that size biologically, it is way to skinny to do that.

This is where things get interesting. Researchers say there are many species all over the world. If it's real, laws will have to be enacted, etc. If you killed one upon discovery, you'd be reviled the world over. To kill one afterward would probably land you in jail.

I think they could exist, think about it as smart as man with the senses of an animal, would be an elusive creature for certain, been a lot of reports, and not just modern reports, native americans also told tales of such things.

Bah, if the DNA tests come up with something interesting I'll make a public apology and say you bigfoot enthusiasts were right all along. More likely it's a bear or something. Just like that chupacabra footage, the damn sightings are always dogs or coyotes.
Still, at least they provided a corpse for testing. I've had my fill of grainy videos and piss-poor photographs, not to mention 'first-hand' accounts of people who claim to have seen something. I don't buy in to the 'if thousands of people believe it it must be true' line.

I find it odd that people like you find fault in thousands of eyewitness testimony yet live in a country that 100% relies on the very same thing for its legal system.
I live in the Pacific Northwest and I can tell you that I personally know at least two dozen hunters that have either seen one or heard one.
The real questions that comes to my mind, if this is true and Bigfoot exists...is he sentient ? Is he self-aware. Do they have a culture ? Do they bury their dead ? Are they an off-shoot of the same evolutionary chain that produced us ?
Can you imagine if Bigfoot thinks and feels as we do ? Its not out of the realm of possibilities. The creature has been smart enough to avoid detection for thousands of years.
Potentially, another sentient Human species on the same planet...wow

After plenty of digging, I am more and more inclined to think it is a hoax. How it could go this far and what the perpetrators think the outcome will be, I don't know.
I still find it hard to believe anyone would trash themselves so badly by trying to do something like this and think they could get away with it.
