Seems Destruction currently outnumbers the Honor. Obviously. This has been a topic of discussion in every forums since polls have been released and the official Road to War thing Mythic put out.
So, join the bandwagon and join Destruction or fight for the under dog and join the Order?
Looking at the classes I had made my decision to join the destruction as a dark elf. But I certainly don't wanna join the bandwagon. I guess while typing this I made up my mind to join the under dog. I will play the open beta to be sure but after trying the classes and getting comfortable with the high elf I will most likely be joining the Order.
Any serious Order guilds looking for a serious DPS player?
For the hell of it, here's a poll, Fight for the underdog or join the bandwagon? Post your opinion and explain if you like.

I wouldn't base what is going to happen off of some polls, most MMO players don't even read forums.
I wouldn't base your choice off of others either, pick what you want to play the most.

Destruction will most likely be full of some ShadowLords, ChaosLordLol etc. I bet Dark Elves will be most played chars.

Destruction will most likely be like early alliance in wow where 30% population rolled night elves. Amount of ppl that rolled blood elves in burning crusade was just sad and funny. Here is one of realms that was opened in burning crusade http://www.warcraftrealms.com/census.php?serverid=758 just show how much demand there was for such evil blood elf race. Also consider lot of wow player will be trying or moving to WAR, so my conclusion is that dark elves will be most played.
Dark elves already are the most played. just read all the comments about how many witch elves are all over the place. the diciple of khaine is what all wow paladins wanted to be, a little bit of healing with a whole lot of offense and the best caster class is the sorc.. so its just gonna be hawt goth chicks running all over your server.
Little kids will want to play little goblins , dwarves are not cartoonish enough for them to like.
Order is the daoc equivilant of DAoC midgard... not wow's alliance.
Im playing order just because they are the underdog. I will miss playing my diciple of khaine but I will love being a rune priest fighting 6 vs 24 type odds and gaining extra points.
since order if going to be outnumbered you guys do know they will put in a system thats gonna give you extra points and xp for playing on an underdog like they did in daoc right? all of us order players are gonna be level 50 in a month

BTW i read that Witch Hunter pwns Witch Elf ass. Since they are basically the same class , but Witch hunter have powerfull RANGED combat , where Witch Elves are just melee

Witch Hunter is why I pre-ordered the game and why I will be playing!!!
Without Black Guard, Witch Hunter and Sword Master are my next choices.
1 thing about both of the Elf races that I don't like... the armor. The helms for the Elf armor sets all seem to be cone shaped. I'm not really digging that, honestly. I'm not saying it's a huge issue, but I think it looks kind of goofy.
I am joinin the destro not because its "bandwagon" but because I am evil in RL so I like being the bad guy in ALL games too. So get ready to get owned! good guys never win in my book.
I'll never make the mistake of playing a "good" faction again. I learned from my WoW experience. I enjoy PvPing at endgame and on my server the Horde seriously dominates. It's so bad that the Alliance actually forms "loosing premade battleground teams" to expedite farming marks for their arena gear.
I don't know if it's universal but on my server the Alliance looks at RvR as a means to get arena gear so they can PvE better, while the Horde seem to want to kick arse, take names, PvP and win. I'm sure there's some psychology behind it as well.
Alliance is so accustomed to losing that they don't care about the PvP anymore. They just want the gear. That's why there's losing premades, and that's why if I ever go back I will re-roll Horde. However, in WAR, the "good" faction is still pretty "bad" (except for High Elves.) That evens it out a bit; while Chaos has cities with dark energy and extra-dimensional rifts, Empire has a city with burning orange skies and grime-covered houses. Not the bright, sunny utopia that Stormwind is in WoW. This will help balance things out a bit, because you can choose to be gritty and evil or gritty and good (again, except for them damn High Elves!)
My biggest fear is that one side or another will go down the Alliance loser route. However, whereas PvP is an afterthought for WoW, it is the centerpiece for WAR. Mythic knows all about balance, they know it's crucial, and they know if people lose enough times they're going to give up.
Also WoW doesn't have RvR. It doesn't have anything close to RvR.

I've been in a destruction guild since 2007 so I don't really have much of a choice now do I? Plus I generally like playing the evil side in games, i just find it entertaining. I do hope more people join order... we could definitely use more of a challenge!
are you guys picking sides based off looks or based off class description?
like witch elf is not a wow rogue, its a daoc shadowzerker spec or a midgard savage.
Chaos warrior may wear armor but its half caster.. so its more like a ret pladin since you have to debuff many people to be effective. A swordmaster would eat him for breakfast.... but dosent "LOOK" as cool.
you have to think about class ballance, which is something mythic is famous for. SO even if you havent played the game u can use common sense. the more things you can do, the less effective you will be at each of them to preserve balance. So you have 3 tanks lets say... Swordmaster, Ironbreaker and Chosen. Chosen has aoe debuffs, ironbreaker buffs himself and his oathfriend and swordmaster just swings a sword.... who do you think is going to be the better at melee? you should be able to rank them 1 2 3 if you are thinking rationally and not be looks.
the chosen also buffs himself and teammates. and u think raw power is the best? just because a class has an ability thats magical doesnt make them weaker.
so yes ill rank them
1: ironbreaker
2: chosen
3: swordmaster
i think anyone who has any real pvp mmo experience will want to join the band wagon.
I'll tell you myself: the weaker side is NEVER fun to be on when it comes to this kind of warfare. Even if you're amazing, if your team-mates suck (which they will do - all the 15 yr old tards are going to roll order because of shadow warriors), then it makes NO difference on such large scale battles.
This was seriously the case in DaoC

As with all MMOs, the "good"side will predominate once the game goes live. It's just a fact of history and human nature. True, Chaos may seem to have the upper hand now...but that would be due to the only people speaking out currently being the more serious and hardcore gamers (this would be anyone who actively follows games, gaming and reads and posts about them on forums...and excludes the majority of game players who do not do any of those) being the ones currently voting and they tend to be somewhat less than the average in such things.
Trust me, if a game has anything even closely confused with a "good" vs "evil" dynamic happening, the perceived "good"side will be in the majority once full launch takes place.
That said, I almost always go the darker route myself. So, destruction for me. Just more this girl's taste.
