A human and an Elf get captured by Skaven. The rat-men are getting ready to shoot the first hostage with Dwarf-made guns when he yells, "Earthquake!" The naturally nervous Skaven run and hide from the imaginary threat. He escapes. The Skaven regroup and bring out the Elf. Being very smart, the Elf has figured out what to do. When the Skaven get ready to shoot, the Elf, in order to scare them, yells, "Fire!"

some of my guildmates are in the beta now and judging by our forums it seems they are having fun. I'm still waiting on my chance to play.

where do i download the client?
i was accepted but have no idea where to get the client from
All I can say is that "there is a beta" and "I am not yet in the beta"
(long story, ordered the CE from EA Store -- big mistake -- cancelled it -- reordered the SE from EBGames, codes coming on Monday).
But, it's okay -- Head Start is what I am interested in.
When Head Start begins, you'll be able to keep your characters so that's when the WAAAGH starts!

I recently got my closed beta invite but cant play it yet due to my computer being in the shop getting repaired. My water cooler busted in my system and replacing it with a sufficient air fan. Hopefully Ill get it back today so I can hop in after its done downloading

I think you'll have to wait until Monday, when Mythic plans to release its revamped DL system.
I don't give a damn about Beta, I just want Sep 18 to get here so I can play the real game.

I don't understand why the NDA is still up if so many people like it?
I won't crack and buy the game before i know more, no matter how long they hold out on the NDA, if thats their game.
Doesn't make sense... For a game that doesn't have traditional stealth, they sure do hide in the shadows till the very end.

And Mark will tell us why 3 things needed to happen for NDA to lift once NDA is lifted Kabbax...I'd say sometime this week, next week lastest. That's still almost a month before release, not a week or two.

That pretty much sums it up.
However the people that are in CB like myself wonder if its better not knowing how the game will be.
The real excitement is anticipation. I am going to miss this part unfortunately, but still glad I was able to take part in the BETA for a major mmo that is going to be released.
I don't feel comfortable about the NDA still being in effect. At all.
I thought that it was supposed to come down this week? Everybody was going on about that being a big difference between AoC and WAR.

The difference between AoC and WAR is AoC doesn't give a damn about what people think and WAR strives to make a game that the customers want.
Um yeah, me too. Go mythic, well done. To those that aren't in yet. Don't worry so much. You'll be playing for years to come.
Two years from now a week or two will be minor forgotten about things. I haven't spent almost 3 days straight in any game since EQ's 1st year and haven't liked PvP in mmo's since DAoC. Both milestones crushed.

hmmm well I cant think of a problem though I havent really tested too much becuase of problems.
