Though, I have no intention of buying a guide for EQ2 or most other MMORPGs, I did get quite a bit of good info from the Prima CoH guide: Location of stores which allow you to sell for more influence, General level of villans in each section of town, General types of villians (great for doing missions which you have to arrest a certain type near your level range)...
Anyway, I think a MMORPG Prima guide will be outdated too fast and if it is out more than a week or two before the release of EQ2, it will be too outdated to be worth buying. Only if it gives updated Web content along for the price of the guide, would it be of any interest to me.
we need to find out what the game is going to be about.. i know the graphics are going to be awesome but is the game basically exactly the same as the first everquest? and instead of working hard on just the second one they just make over 50 expansion packs that they make there money off of? which I find is stupid.. and i dont understand why daoc is trying to do the same thing even tho that gave actually has a purpose to get to max capped lvl.. which is for RvR and is very interesting besides just geting to lvl 99 and saying wow look at me lol.. sometimes i feel like fanasy games dont really understand the concept that people actually want to have a game that really gets down and thinks about what they do.. we need to give them ideas because so far they arent doing the best job in the world by them selves.. lol
