I will admit that I enjoyed a few years playing DAOC and a few months playing WOW.
However, the best, and longest, gaming experience of my life was UO. UO was shot using what could best be described as a hybridized 2d/3d system with a fixed 3/4 bird's eye view. I loved every second of it and by all accounts, though revolutionary at the time, the graphics are awful.
If Darkfall's gameplay comes within 90% of UO's then as far as I am concerned it is a massive success. And since the graphical display of Darkfall is far superior to that of UO, then I would say that Darkfall is correct in billing itself as a next-generation MMORPG in the style of UO.
So, if you tell me that in essence I am getting something that resembles UO, but richer in content and with better graphics, and Darkfall is able to deliver even a small majority of what is promised, I will be very happy.
Trammies need to stop polluting the MMORPG landscape. They already have enough games in which to emote hugs and sell garbage by the banks.

The real problem is the game engine, it looks like utter crap. I have no words to describe how awful it is. And fixing a game engine is not so quick as fixing the graphics. They were better off buying the U3 engine and modifying it for their own needs, or employing better programmers to code their own. Its unbelievable how crappy it is now.

Stop whining about graphics. Some people even complain about AoC beautiful graphics. But i still dont get it. In DF you can have a crew sail a ship, jump and takeover another ship. Thats more piracy then Pirates of the Burning sea have.....so how could anyone complain about the look of it???
We have already seen that graphcs doen matter for WoW players (nine millions), so if some complain about DF...noone cares. They wont play the game anyway.

No, we just don't count "lol vapor i got sum tinfoils u want too?" as very constructive criticism. See, I can criticize Darkfall myself:
- The explosions were pixelated and kind of mushy.
- I didn't like the fact that the movement was out of sync in some parts of the video.
- Some of the animations were lacking.
That's basically what I found wrong with the video, but it really isn't anything that would affect the actual gameplay. Also, those are the easiest things to fix in a patch or otherwise.
