There are no improvments made to AoC. Good lord I still visit the forums and laugh my butt off at all the people still there complaining about OOM, Crashes, Gray Map, PvP broke, Classes Broke, Attributes Broke, Broken this and Broken that. I go to my old guild and read that the entire guild quit one month after I left the game. I head to the server discussions on their forum and people are complaing they can't find anyone to group with anymore because most zones are deserted. ROFL game is improving? Only for those that like an MMO without the M. Let's call AoC just plain MO and get over it. This is the last stooge I will game with.
The next campaign has now started. This time it is not about selling more boxes since even Funcom knows now that they wont be able to fool more. But still... they think they can fool few ppl to buy one month into PVP patch before War goes life and the PR campaing to get the "positive" feedback out is about to start. I just want to remind those that are really tinking of spending more money on this game that nothing has changed since day one. We are still talking about exactly the same ppl, exactly the same strategy, exactly the same game. And... its the exactly same 1500 armors.... Just remember that and you should be able to make the right disision. Thx

I assume the OP is refering to AmazingAvery's many posts lately. Jeez, how can you be mad at him? AA is doing his job as an AoC correspondent (as I understand their job is to bring info on their game to the forums right?). Which is why I never trust anything he says cos its PR and AoC advertising, basically doing Erling Ellingsen's job on this subforum.
Crafting is still useless, including player structures
Class balance is still terrible
Memory leaks and other hardware issues are still present.
Necromancers are still terribly borked (my pet peeve).
FunCom has done nothing to make me believe that they have gained some semblance of a clue about what they are doing. Sure, something have changed, but nothing has really improved -- the core issues are still massive deal-breakers that aren't being addressed.
nothing has changed. the boards are still filled with people quitting and upset people. Its not the same people either. its a new set every few weeks as the other people's accounts expire, and a new one steps up to fill his shoes.
To be honest, I think this might be the most childish mmorpg out to date. There is no thought required in the game.

ahm increasing the drop of rare weapons in game doesn't mean new things have been added.
I just recently used my buddy invite key to try the game again oh man.... when I just started playing (started pre-release and never re-subbed) I used to never get grey maps, hardly any lag and recent d/c. but now everything is screwed up even more. i played to game for a couple of hours, d/c'd 3 times, grey map'd twice, and had constant red lag spikes. they are in fact actually continuously breaking the game.
never will i fall for the hype of another funcom game.
Come on this is the "showcase" game for dx 10 and they "will be adding it".....sometime in the
next _______, {insert word of choice ranging from year to century}. So don't get all jacked out of shape as the lighting is supposed to rock in dx 10. Nothing like great lighting to fix everything
PVP was a joke on launch I cant see it has improved. Way outbalanced classes, the corpse no death penalty, camping rezz areas and being able to run out of an instance mid fight, neverminf the siege fiasco.
Now if you want working armour/stats pvp and siege warfare prob want to try Warhammer.

Actually that has changed. Official forums are now overrun by fanbois cheerleaders, every post containing tiny bit of negativism is getting removed by moderators almost immediately.
Funcom got little or no communication with its player base. The game fixes/changes happends too slow for anyone to believe Funcom can manage their game. I mean comon, you dont need a brain bigger than a peanut to realize that AoC is made of junk.
