I think new Office episodes start in September too..... when did September become such an awesome month?

I did take off work for Monday.. and that gives me sunday and Monday to go back and forth between the 2 games.

I think I'm going to keep each class I play in WAR to level 10 so I get a taste of a bunch of different classes, that way maybe I can limit my play time so I can play Spore enough so when WAR goes live I can put spore on hold for a week or so to start leveling?

September is a busy month for gaming....

Yea spore look nice but i heard you have to download it and you get ONLY 3 install.  That's really not a lot of re-install, I can think of dozen of reason to wipe a harddrive.

It look kinda like the civilisation game so I might end up buying it but not at release.

Not sure about the 3 installs, but I have my copy preordered so you don't have to just download it.

    But...

If you have to choose...skip work that day, and play both games all day. Forgo any obligations and don't speak to anyone!

yea really who gives a crap about spore, war is so much better, but hey if you dont wanna play the best game to be on the planet , then go ahead and play ur little spore game, saves more room and fun for the rest of us.

Yeah, ya damn aussies! :)  you're a lucky bunch you are.

As for people telling me spore is going to suck and to skip it.... I don't think you get the scope of what spore really is.

Personally I think I'll get much more playability out of spore in the long run the WAR, and WAR will last me a good 3-4 months on its current content.

So getting both games is definitely the what I'll be doing.. but how do you play two games at one time?

Never really uderstood the hype about Spore.   Granted I havent searched for info cuz It just didn't apeal to me. So its an easy for me I bought WAR and will play that.

I was going to buy Spore, until EA said that rediculous DRM is going to be put into it.  Only install three times, and it's deducted everytime something in your computer changes?  That is worse than Microsoft!

Mne eto nado kak zuby v zadnitse.

I never understood how DRM puts people off of playing certain games.  Especially games like Spore... theres not another game out like it, people could contest certain gameplay styles being like others as reasons not to play certain games.... Spores style isn't like anything -- almost revolutionary in a way.

Now I'm not saying that the game itself will be better or worse then WAR, and thats my dilemma, they are both going to be fantastic games.  Why on earth EA decided to launch a gaggle (yeah.. I said gaggle)  of good games in september... within a few days of eachother is beyond me.

    I don't watch tv.

Spore ? You have got to be kidding me. Have no idea why some would find it that appealing to begin with. I mean it looks ok but it isn't WAR yanno ?

I just watched a video about spore it reminds me of, A RTS mixed with Viva Pinata and Monster Ranchers. It looked interesting but I just could never get into those types of games.

Thats understandable,  Its very much RTS-like in the later stages, it's very much Fantasy MMO like in the creature stages.

I also hear it's very 2d fighter/action shooter like in the 1st stage.

I'll post a review when I get to play it for a week..which may be 2 weeks seeing as how I'll be back and forth between these two games.

While i think Spore looks fun, and i had fun with the creature creator for a day or so, it will definately take a backseat to WAR OB. I gotta try out the classes before early launch!
