Logically AoC Sucks

Think about it. The producer of the game and 16 year founder of FC did NOT quit because the game was going well.
Granted things could get better under new leadership, but right away? I don't think so. And even still, has FC earned your trust? If you quit because you thought AoC was broken or sucked or whatever, do not re-sub until you find out for a fact that the game has improved, otherwise you'll probably just be a sucker for what may be just another marketing ploy to snag another month of subs from people.

Every single bit of flack was put on him by the players (and non), everything, he was the face. Most likely he knew, he could never come back from that, warranted or not. So he stepped down.
He was no longer a viable figurehead or spokesperson.
Your also posting "DOOOOOOOOOOOM!" like 2 days after the anoucement.

Like you said, they are going to spin this as a 'positive' when in fact it's a non-issue at this point. Nobody can save the game in time.
Yes but I'm not predicting doom will happen because of the announcement after only 2 days. That would be silly.
I'm saying that the announce proves the game sucks. He wouldn't have taken such drastic action were the game going well.

Saying the game sucks is highly subjective, in saying that you're essentially saying you didn't like the game play or game design. I highly doubt that's why the guy left (he designed it), he left because (by my guess) as Mr.B said he's the figurehead, the buck stops with him. Any issues trinkle down to his decisions, as head dev he's responsible for any issues that arise. Oh, boy do they have issues, he see's that, they see that and we see that.
He's responsible for the backlash FC have received over this, he damaged their reputation, in turn he suffers the consequences.

I fall back on 'sucks' cause the list of severe issues is so long and varied.
And I would say the customer base are the ones who suffer the consequences.
It belonged somewhere else this FLAK? He was the GAME DIRECTOR after all , wasnt he? The buck stopped with him, he knew that going in, when he was busy telling flat out lies about the features and content that would ship in this game!
Hes not a VICTIM, hes one of the criminals. And just like the Justice Dept, gamers go after the head of the org. first and everyone else second....
EDIT: Erling Ellisons ears are probably constantly ringing with all the bad press hes taken.... Yet even after he was interviewed by this website telling blatant lies, he remains with the company.... This is one thought that keeps me from re-installing and checking out the patch, after all I bought a 6 month membership.

But it is cute how you imply someone said something (in YOUR confusion) then flame them for it. If you would spend more time discussion something, instead of trying to “one up” others, people may take you seriously.

The title of this thread did make me chuckle because the only things I can think of that 'logically suck' are the following:
1.) Blackholes
2.) Vacuum Cleaners
3.) Engines (in the 1st cycle)
4.) Biological organisms seeking nutrient procurement
Everything else seems to be opinion, would it not? From an emotional standpoint, things could "suck". Call a duck a duck, if it's your perspective, so be it but logic stands on its own.

My point is that in the argument as to whether AoC is doing well or doing poorly, the game producer and founder of 16 years resigning due to dissatisfaction with the game would logically tip the argument to favor those who say the game is deeply flawed.
Is that not logic? Game producer quits out of dissatisfaction with the game, thus, the game sucks. Can you argue that Gaute leaving out of dissatisfaction with the game proves the game is doing well?
Also I didn't say it sucks logically, I said: Logically AoC Sucks. Spock going down on Jim sucks logically.

I like AOC, but also EQ2, EvE, Vanguard, and I like Warhammer. Right now Warhammer and Eve are getting my money. In a month or two, I might switch back, I might not. But to say that AOC just sucks, is stupid, as for any game out there.
It would be best to say AOC isn’t on the menu, or not your taste.

well *I* beta tested.. pre-ordered and quit... so I have played.
I still wouldn't say the game sucked... at least in comparison to another recently released game.
What I would say is I decided to quit do the the drug induced design decisions after launch. I mean the only way I could see it.. is heavy drug use.. or a dart board to decide what to change.
So I guess my response again is.. I think the game launched in a fairly normal state for an mmo.
It needed the general fix, finish, polish that most due at launch. Rather than do that it was right into nerf, boost, nerf.. break more stuff bs.
Overall I enjoyed the game... just not the direction.

It wasnt a matter of sucking or not . I was directing that at a certain person and their personal visionquest to be the defender of the game while they wont even man up and pay for a subscription.
