Howdy, Stranger!

It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

What small thing should they add?

For the lazy who dont like to read: I would like to see an autoloot option in the game.

I am definitely enjoying myself playing WAR.  I have been playing a Runepriest (almost 17 now) and I have been finding I am reasonably durable even with low armor.  I have been soloing 1-2 mobs 2-3 levels higher than me without too much difficulty.

But the point of the thread.  I have scavenging as my gathering profession and I like to scavenge every body that I can (how else am I ever going to get to the awesome "The Frisky" title!).  What I am missing the most about scavenging all those bodies is an autoloot feature.  It's a small feature but it really saves a lot of time in my opinion. Also as they were always saying we are supposed to be part of the war as much as possible and not clicking on the loot all button all day.

What the heck? Is there a backstory to that area?

    - Linking items in chat

    - More info (tooltips) in proffession interface and items

    - No more scrolling through agreement and accepting it every time you start the game

    - Make the guards at quest hubs a little less lethal (they one shot level 18 tanks in tier one Chaos - Empire, level 20+ chars get chickened anyway on open pvp servers) Order is using the guards to kill for them on my server -> Add a dot just before npc retaliation and it's free renown points for them.

    - Preview option when applying found/rewarded dyes

    - Removing the 20 second cooldown on mailing things

    - Tone down the droprate of seeds; seems every single mob in WAR has cultivating as a hobby, hehe.

    - EDIT: Artwork or dyeability of those white cloaks everyone is wearing in tier 1/2.

All I could think of atm.

    a large thing:

Make Order more attractive by giving them an additional race or classes asap. Give them a kick ass knight or perhaps wood elfs, or any other candy that makes people like me be tempted to try out order instead of destruction which has all the rock & roll so far. Faction imbalance is the biggest threat to this game and I don't share Mythic's hope that it will even out in a little time.

I completely agree with pretty much all of those, especially fewer seeds.  I guess they are compensating for the fact that cultivation is boring as all hell, at least in my opinion.

I agree on making Order more desirable, but in my opinion they should try making it a visual thing first before they change anything that will affect gameplay in any way.  I mean if they just made female High Elves look smoking hot (even decently good looking would be a huge improvement) then they would be running all over within seconds.  I am playing on Sylvania and according to the server list the Order/Destruction populations are fairly close.  They are generally at the same level with sometimes Destruction one notch higher.  However looking at the maps Destruction is still dominating every tier.  There are some keeps that we just cant ever capture even with a full warband.  What I think people need to learn is a little flip flopping will get everyone more loot : ), and we all know everyone likes more shiny things.

Give me a link where I wrote WAR is a straight 10 and I'll reward you with over 9000 rl dollars. True story. (edit: which would be around ... 117 Euro's nowadays so that is fine).

I stick to my 9. It is an EXCELLENT GAME. But like every mmo, it has some issues at launch. Appart from class imbalance WAR's issues are minor and are relatively easily fixed compared to AOC or WOW which lacked important content like pvp reward mechanics at launch. Or what about client stability? WAR beats about every other mmo launch on that regard.

Aye, I was leading a warband yesterday and had so much fun skirmishing with the Order warband that we decided to let them cap a few control points a few times to give them a reason to stay. (mercy which wasn't needed later on when more of them showed up). Turned out to be a long, long evening of world pvp and shizzloads of fun, fun and some more fun.

I think they should fix the small things first like, my chat box being locked but everytime i log in its in the middle of my screen, or how easy it is to get stuck on silly things, or being able to jump up onto roofs sometimes you dont even have to jump you can run up the wall, iv had  about a handfull or more of mobs reset on me when they are near death. are just a few iv noticed, But im still liking the game.

there already is an autoloot addon out.. it works really well you should check it out.

The one thing I would want to add, if I can get them a note is this:

I want a single button that let's me change the order of my powers. I have saved two settings. The Default is PVE.

When I press PVP it goes to another setting where all my powers are in a different order. For instance, I want Dispel Magic more prominent than where it is when I am PVEing. (love that spell)

The second thing I would add would be a more robust crafting, inclusive of Smithing!

Let me make soemthing that isn't on a timer or a one shot use.

I would change Salvaging and Scavenging so they didn't sound so damned similar.

Yes, also make a death penalty in scenarios, each time you die, it will multiply. That way people will have much more fun.

Also make the death penalty 60 minutes long and without the ability to get rid of it. Even in RvR. People will love the game so much more.

    /sarcasm

I'm here to kick ass and chew bubble gum. And I'm all out of ass. Because I kicked so much of it earlier.

Yes he is, and I called him delusional for it and the fact that he thinks one time achievements will turn WoW into a massive World PvP raiding game.  He then reported me and I was banned from MMORPG.com for a day.  Hilarious.

**I am not now calling bodypass delusional.  bodypass is not delusional.  He is correct about everything.  His forsight is amazing.  Please don't ban me.

lol...people around here need to develop some harder skin. They go delusional with rage when they see someone disagree with them or troll them a little and ruin mouse after mouse panicpressing the report button...

Anyway, what WAR need is get the good parts from WoW and use em. Like autoloot one poster mentioned. Yes, I know WoW wasn't first out with this crap but bleh to that. WoW's the benchmark for future mmo's, like it or not.

...getting ready for another ban for this post

    A few housing zones

An expansion that makes players form raids to do trials for leveling equipment, that require scrolls to activate. Only one player gets the artifact in the whole raid though and the scrolls are extra rare drops.

Revamp the RvR zones so that no players actually like it. Tweak it for the next few years.

Be paid for Beta Testing, don't pay to Beta Test.

Add your own death penalty. When you die, go spend 10% of your gold somewhere and delete the objects and wait 15 minutes before you can attack anything because you self-impose a gimping.

Get others who want a death penalty to waste their time to agree to it, and let me know how that works out while I play the game.

You cna preview dyes you found or made by right clicking the dye then clicking on the piece of armor you wish dyed.  Click accept and it will preview it for you.  You have to hit accept a second time for it to stick.

    Small things they should add:

    Item link for chat

    Dressing room

    Latency meter

  • ArcalusArcalus Member UncommonPosts: 7

The ability to queue up as a Warband would be nice.

  • SauronasSauronas Member Posts: 183

All it needs is a 3rd realm.  It's hard to have a 3rd realm in the warhammer world because most races are good or evil.  However, I was on the toilet the other day reading white dwarf and figured the 3rd realm could be Lizardmen, Skaven, and Ogre Kingdoms.  It's either create a 3rd realm or make each race independent which isn't really possible without a massive player base.

Funny how this thread got bumped and after reading it, how about 90% of the suggestions have been implemented.

Shows how ungrateful people truly are.
