i stopped readimg right there. please tell me what current mmo doesn't have you do this in the first ten levels? what class isnt boring at level 10? you barely have any skills. try playing the game to level 20. i guarantee you will not feel the way you do now.

Skills that don't work, endless bugs...

    What??

EDIT: And YOU even said you didn't get any class past... what, level 13? You people are ridiculous.

    My server is dead.

It would be nice if Mythic joined a couple of servers together.

I leveled a White Lion to 12 today, not once did i get the pvp Kaine's quest, and just to ease the boredom of not seeing anyone my pet kept on disappearing.

I find that the combat is very boring.

My level 21 mage has killed over 2500 monsters and not once did i have to think about which spells to use .. nope just use the same 3 spells all the time.

When in the rare occasion of pvp i acttualy get to use healing and shields!.

    ........

I find the graphics to be on par with the Guildwars saga. I do have everything maxed and i suffer from no lag anywhere in the game.

    ........

I still have another 2 weeks to make up my mind if i should sub to this game, but really i don't think the gameplay has any lasting value at this time.

the actual sieges start at tier 2 once you hit level 11....

the lower level is smaller simple pvp and rvr because they dont want to throw you to the dogs.

and if you cant level past 13 in two weeks then... my god.

i made it to level 13 in two days.

if you like pvp focus on rvr and buy a combat plus tactic from the renown trainer and gain mad xp.

Odds are that the levelling curve on your server is far ahead of you. Right now, most servers population is focused in the late tier 2-early tier 3. If you are tier 1-early tier 2 or tier 4, it might be a bit thin until people level their mains to 40. Then many more alts will start to appear and the population should spread out quite a bit more.

    Have a good day

A month to get to 40? I already got 2 characters at 40 and I'm already having a blast with T4 RvR.

I don't see why everyone likes to rush to max lvl in mmos.  Ok maybe games like WoW that don't really start until max lvl is fine, but in WAR taking part in the lower lvl tiers are necessary for the 40's to cap the enemy capital.  I for one am having fun doing RvR and what-not in tier 2.  I'm not worried about how fast my rank increases.  I normally only get to play for about 2 hours at a time (at most).  And then only on the weekends.  So what if my character is only lvl 13.  I'm having fun at 13 doing RvR raids in Troll Country.  But you play the game the way you want I guess.

Everyone has a different playing style.  If you want to rush to 40 stick mainly with PvE. I found that getting all the quests I could from an area and finishing them all at one point launched my xp progress quite substantially.  If I really focused on PvE and played for a good 3 or so hours I could easily have a lvl 8-10 character.

Anywho, point is: Unlike most mmo's you don't need to rush to max lvl to have fun. At least that's how I see it.

Bye.  I honestly can't make sense of your issues as most of them just go against logic.  (such as this game being a grind when it's possibly the most casual-friendly mmo ever.)  Oh well you seem to really have something out for WAR since you keep posting how much  you dislike it.  Good luck finding that game for you.

Your description of questing sounds like every other MMO, and a lot of single player RPG's come to think of it.

I got a Bright Wizard to 18 in less then two weeks, and I play rather casually.  I tried a few other classes; didn't get any of them past 5.  My BW is to much fun to play; I can't get into any of the other classes.  My boy plays a Rune Priest and he thinks its more fun to be a healer in WAR then it is in WoW.

I rolled Order on Bechafen, an open pvp server; chaos outnumber us, but it's cool.  I ensure that my side is the winning side by winner, personally.  I dunno, maybe we got dif. playstyle, I would like to think I'm just that good, but who knows.

I completely agree with you about the healing.  Some of the worst I've ever seen, but at lower levels it should be expected.  People are learning how to play thier class, and healling is a little more involved then some games maybe.  You didn't start out knowing how to play every class, and neither have they.  Cut 'em some slack.  T2 healers on the other hand, there is no excuse.  Tanks to, if you're running past me, you're not playing your class right and you need to, for real, l2p.  I'm at the back of the line with the healers, and if you're running to the healer, and he isn't being attacked, you're a bad tank.

You're right again.  it's slow and boring to level in PvE; so i don't.  I might log in and do a PQ with some friends, but I usually grind on Destros.  There's so many of you, I can just sit in one spot and kill you for xp, renown, loot, and some nice drops.  Hell, some of you are about as tough as the NPC's, those fireballs are sexy I know.  Honestly though, I find levelling in PvE slow and boring in every game.

Keep seiges are a blast.  Most every night there's a keep being attacked on my server.  Destro has everything so it's not like there's a shortage of keeps to take.  Sometimes we get them and sometimes we don't.  It's a blast either way.  At 18 I have a lot of pvp options available to me, and I find all of them fun.

Can't really say that I'm sorry to see you go; really it's like meh whatever.  Have fun; there's lots of carebear games out thier with much better PvE.

People like the OP over play and burn out on mmo's.  My guess is that the last few mmo's hes played he has burned them all out in a few weeks.  These games were not meant to play 14 hours a day.

Honestly, with all the availible things to do in warhammer, if your buring out that fast perhaps you should stick with f2p asian grinders....you can play those 14 hours a day for years and not hit max level.

Its kind of funny watching these kids burn out on mmo's then complain how the game sucks because they burn out.  Time for the OP to move on and either drop more money on games hes going to burn out in 2 weeks or just suck it up and play those f2p grind fests.

That or mabey the OP is just bitter about AoC and wishes for all new games to fail a few weeks after release.

Either way good luck, my guess is that your probably going to have lots of fun playing a new mmo every 2 weeks.

I'am finding there's just something missing from war the higher my rank goes up the less I want to play,I came to this game with a large number of friends 3 have already left and at least another 3-4 won't be subbing after the free months over myself included.

lol your funny heres the thing war has the smallest grind in anyy MMO ever to come out. the reason why it may seem to have a "grind" is that it takes as long to level as say WoW (before the expansion) but there are 20 levels left. so you come in and see you dont magically get a level up with in games like WoW half the time do barly anything for you but in WAR 1 level changes alot and thats why there are only 40.

P.S. dont let the door smack you face in........or maybe it should

What a freaking whiner. I swear, this game weeds out more retards every day. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

As for PvE, I think many have set themselves up for disapointment just because the main quest line is linear doesn't mean there aren't many non-linear things to uncover. I simply clicked on an NPC in chapter 2 chaos the other day and got a tome quest that rewards you with a tome tactic when you finish it, later in chapter 3 I clicked on a plagued farmer and got an update for that quest. In the chapter 4 chaos area I saw a soldier walk into a tent in Salezmund ( I think is the name) and killed him once he finished talking to the NPC in the tent looted a wizards key from him and right clicked it, it teleported me inside of a tower where I unlocked another tome quest, I wasn't able to finish it because the wizard was a hero, but the point is there are non-linear PvE things to do if you look for them.

Oh yeah, and none of my first 10 lvls came from scenarios.

I agree with the OP, the game is to slow.  If it was faster paced (combat speed wise) I think i would enjoy it.

I know alot of people (myself included) who are not re subing, so who are you to say AOC faild?

I dont get what you mean by  "there is so much to do", the OP clearly listed what bugged him about the game.  The fact that the game is so slow paced and none of the classes fit his play sytle is more then enough reason to leave.  What is so much to do? RVR? PVE? all of which would be effected by what he does not like.

The only mmo I have ever played where you spent almost all your time in groups was Everquest, that was just so damn hard and most classes lost against mobs their own level so you had to group.

  • KasimirKasimir Member Posts: 197

Ow, that is sad... You don't like playing the MMOS or games, so you think they are bad... *sigh* You want your character fully developed, done and ready to PvP oh, and let me guess, you want the best equipment from start as well, because you hate all that grinding to get stuff? Sorry but...

    QUE?!

Why the hell do yuo buy an MMO? Why are you even on MMORPG.com?! You want Counter-Strike! You want overeasy, one character fits all, action game and nothing else. Just because your friends play MMOS and have an attention span longer than five seconds, does not mean you are forced to do that as well! Be your own person, grow a backbone and follow your own path for a change! You don't wan tto play the MMOs then don't! I love Counter-Strike, I love Team Fortress, they are great games, so when I want a premade character and PvP I play them! This is an MMO!!!

Just because you want to play somehtng else, does not mean a whole genre is bad.. it means you are a sheep following your friends too much.. and doing your own thing too little.

MMOs are not for you. Just do your own thing. Leave those that like MMOs to theirs.

hehe this is a funny topic I mean seriously the game is lacking in content as most mmo's.. level is too slow? nah it's ok never liked to speed through the levels don't see the fun of ending the game before it starts.. but this is defently not appealing to the masses.. This game will get old pretty fast.. but it was as I predited earlier that this game won't be worth spitting lots of cash in.. there is lots of other much more fun mmo's out there most defently if you don't like WAR.. if you like it play it.

There is always good and bad with all games and yeah the game has bugs and was people in shock discovering it??? :P
