Well man in the long run it's kinda up to what kind of character you want to be. A pure tank with moves to deal damage or someone with tank-like abilities but also has aura's and such to help out group members. I honestly like both classes but prefer the Pally over the Warrior.

Paladin is a hibrid class, of a priest/warrior, excellent abilities against undead.

Warrior is a tanker/damage class, good crowd control abilities.

It depends on what you want to do. If you want to be more of a soloist type person, then you may want to consider the paladin because he can heal and buff himself.

If you want to group more and not worry about magic and mana while you're in a group, then the warrior is the class for you.

Also, there are always tradeskills you can use as a warrior to heal yourself and not have to worry about mana, just supllise you need to make the stuff for you healing.

I like the buffs and stuff paladins have at higher levels, so I would go with them first over the warrior, but I would suggest playing both, eventually, just for fun.

By the way, I don't like the alliance, but I still gave my opinion, don't pay attention to it if you don't want to.

Good point...I should've said that as well. I'm more of a Horde person but I will not bash the Alliance and I will give an unbiased opinion when needed.

well, personally i would go with warrior

If you like the front-end style heavy damage taker, pick a warrior, If you want to be somewhere inbetween with special healing skills, pick a paladin.

Well paladin can heal himself but also can the warrior if you tain in first aid as I did and a paladin can buff him self

, I played both and I can tell you what I like. I would pick a warrior over a paladin any day just becuase I like a warrior more. If you tain you character right then he/she could be godly

Also depends do you want to solo more then you group?If so then I suggest a paladin. So it comes down to you! not to someone eles thats not going to be playing for you, Im sure what ever you pick you will be happy with. There both great classes

Dwarves make better Paladins, if youre going by stats...they also make better warriors lol...but Humans are a better choice for a Warrior than SOME other races, so Warrior is probably your best bet.

I'd wait a bit before making a decision on that. Paladins are still yet to get their talents plus Blizzard said a few days ago they were looking into getting more stuns or roots for the class which to me has been the only bad thing about the class.

As for the comment of not having to worry about spells in combat, well actually we don't have to worry much at all, in fact i'd say with the amount of combat moves warriors have they may indeed be more busy in terms of button pressing. Im never rushed in combat.

I think soloing it won't matter what your class, as a paladin I still have to wait around between fights, sure i could just heal myself but then ive got no mana for the next fight(The good thing about WoW is that with the food and drink situation there is hardly any down time). However the paladin really has around 3 lives, with the heals as well as lay on hands, I don't recall in PvP once having lost to a warrior in 1on1 who has been the same lvl as me or even slightly higher, and if your an undead warrior, well you might as well run.... oh actually thats just my turn undead

which has also been very useful as protection getting the higher level undead which are out of my killing capacity to flee.

My votes for the paladin.(note this may be slightly bias seeing as my main is a paladin)

I would play a Paladin before playing a Warrior only because in my opinion, Paladins are more worthy to play. Paladins are holy warriors with the ear of their god hearing their every prayer. ::::08::

Warriors just fight... no style, no flair, just blah.

During the Stress Test, I found warriors to be more fun to play. Their combat is faster-paced and they have more special attack moves. Honestly, I think it's a mistake to think of a paladin as a fighter with healing and buffing skills. They're more like a priest with heavy armor and without direct damage spells.

I made a Night Elf warrior and went out and swung my sword once on something. I criticaled it and it died in one hit. So I logged off of that character, deleted it, and made a Night Elf Hunter to play for the last few days of the stress test. Not sure how that story had any relevance, I just felt like sharing.
