Yeah lets hear your storys... ::::15:: Has anyone here ever supposedly seen a ghost? or something freaky happen that is very outve the norm? I will tell a couple of mine

I was in my room lieing on my bed just reading a magazine..relaxing...my parents were home and my sister was home all of them were downstairs..it was sortve late at night , i think it was a bit after 11 so anways my door was wide open and BAM it swings shut like fast lightning , now it couldnt have been anyone cause in order to shut my door you havta step a bit into my room and plus all my family was downstairs..something that makes the door move a bit is if a window is open but there were no windows open and when a window is open it just moves the door maybe slightly but nothing like this , my door slammed closed and like since there no windows open or any hard movement downstairs or anything it doesnt make sense how it did ::::04:: and i was lieing on my bed the whole time not moveing....it stil kinda freaks me out lol , and no it couldnt have been a family member cause they were downstairs the whole time and i would seen/noticed if it was one of them. So i still dont know wtf it was...

Oh yeah and heres just somethin funny heh. I was sleepin and i woke up and my arm/hand was in weird position and i thought it was somebody elses hand and i screamed ::::18:: lmao then like 10 seconds later i realized it was mine...rofl.

Ok sure,
In high school during the summer a buddy and me did temp jobs.It was just enough cash to buy pot and beer,and we didnt have to work everyday.
So one of the jobs was in a very old building(dating from the civil war i live in Atlanta,Ga)The job was to remove debris from the bottom floors,the place was being remodeled for lofts.All work was done during the day in the summer.One day me and my friend were in the basement of the place shoveling bricks and trash into wheelbarrows.Now there is plenty of light coming into the area as it did have windows with no glass.The bottom floor is just HUGE and empty no walls whatsoever.
So here i am working away and the area im in goes cold all of a sudden.Keep in mind this is Atlanta in the summer,it gets sticky hot no matter where you are.Then i feel something walk by me.I think its my buddy messin with me right?I turn around to say something to him and he is on the OTHER side of the building at least 75 feet away from me.At this point i feel a hand on my shoulder and i turn around again and nothing is there.Then i notice my shovel is not where i put it on the wheelbarrow.Its 20 feet away leaning against the wall.
Anyway thats it,kinda weird to say the least nothing happened to my friend and ive never really talked about it to anyone.Its just one of those things that happened to me that i always remembered.

I have had alot. I'll type a few up tomorrow when it is broad daylight. Right now it's dark . And i'm pretty freaked out at the moment.

I'll just say this for now. When it's past midnight at my house, listen quietly to my kitchen and you'll hear footsteps go across the floor. It's real freaky.

Doors closing. Odd sounds in the middle of the night

Then of course there is the whole thing of the female voice calling my name (And no, not in a good way. A very creepy and sick type of way. You know. Like you'd see a succubus or vampire or demon in a movie or the x-files)

I get random cold shudders in the middle of the day when it's warm, I've had a time where I was being pushed around in bed and it felt like something was crawling on me, about the size of a toddler, then I slowly got up, turned the tv on, and it stopped. I also accasionally hear laughing and crying downstairs when noones home. Also, one day a sweater just appeared in our garrage, it had a freaky design, we threw it away. And right now something keeps touching my neck when noones here...

EDIT: Oh, and when I was a young kid, I looked out my window at night, saw two large eyes outside the window, so I calmly looked in my brother and parents room, they were there, they had played tricks similar to this, so when I came back it started tapping on the window, I could see it's fingers *shudders* not something I wanna see again.

right now our house is very haunted. I'm talking bout Hollywood haunted.

Our 2 cats get thrown into the backroom and the door slams shut all the time. Our thermastate goes from 72 to 84 and then from 84 to 64 within the day.

My wife and I are now having the same exact dreams and same exact nightmares.

Heh, I could go on, but I wont.

Needless to say, our house is up for sale.

I recently moved into this new 30 year old house, there were large pee-stains on the carpet, old floor linoleum, etc... the guys that put in the new carpetting didn't want to go near our living room do to the large pee-stain about 5 feet by 5 feet, but they did, we vaccumed intensly for four days.

Lol that made me slightly shiver when i read that for some reason. I have some other storys of creepy things that hav happened but there kinda long and im too lazy to type them right now..i'll get around to it though lol.

A couple times before when im completely home alone , late at night i have also heard someone walking on the stairs ::::04:: extremely creepy...and then theres my basement...some freaky shit has happened down there but i'll get into that another time.

Oh ya. And then there was another story of when I was in the bathroom. And I kept on hearing footsteps in the hallway, loud noises like somone scrapin against a wall. Kept on saying whos there (this was like 2:30 am so I was thinking it was somone messin around)

Well, about a minute or so before I come out. It stops. But when I do. Everyone is still asleep. Asked the next day, and again, no one was up.

Weird crap. Alot of weird crap happends in that house.

Where to begin?

I have experienced A LOT of weird things in my life so far, and most everyone that I tell thinks I am either a) crazy or b) crazy!

I used to work in a retail store as a manager about 6 years ago. I noticed things would only happen when I was alone before the store opened. The gates would be locked shut while I was doing my morning paperwork. I would be sitting back in the office when all the sudden the intercom would go off. We had one at the register on the floor/front of the store and one on the desk in the backroom. The only way for the intercom to be used was by holding down the button than you would talk. It really started pissing me off one morning because it kept going off. I went upfront and turned the switch to off and went about my normal tasks. About 10 minutes later, the intercom went off again. I went back upfront and was very nervous to see that it some how was turned back on.

It was a kitchen store that I was working in at the time, things would fly off the shelves as I went down the aisles. They never hit me, I was a good 5 feet away from it, but whatever it was wanted me to know it was there. Also, we had a ton of different press magnets for the fridge, the kind where you press on them and they make noises (telephones/farm animals). A few times about 8-10 would start going off on their own.

Now, after this was going on for some time I decided to confront the main manager. I was afraid to say anything at first becuase she would have thought I was looney. So, I said to her "Rose, have you ever noticed anything strange in the store?" And she immediately said to me, "You mean the ghost?" I was shocked, I couldn't believe she had known about it too. She than started to lecture me and tell me not to be afraid that it made her feel safe knowing someone was there watching over her. That to me was very creepy. First off, she should have warned me that something was there. I don't care if it is friendly or not, I don't feel comfortable with an unknown entity playing games with me.

After that conversation, I quit about 2 weeks later. For my last 2 weeks I had my than boyfriend come into work with me until the store opened.

My old apartment. I was lying in bed asleep when I was awoken all the sudden. It was kind of like when you start to fall asleep, than you jolt awake real fast like you are falling feelings. But, I was already sleeping for a good 3 hours when that happened. Anyhow, when I opened my eyes I seen a mist above my body. It was a greenish-blue color, and it was moving a little, almost in a circular motion. It lasted for about 25 seconds or so. I could hear my boyfriend in the livingroom playing Tomb Raider on the PSone. I couldn't speak, breath, move, I was totally paralyzed until it vanished. Finally, after it went away I got out of bed, drenched in sweat and ran into the livingroom. He of course did not believe me.

I had a few other mild feelings of a presence in that apartment. The actual first main thing that happened there was about 1 month after we had moved in. The bathroom door slammed shut as hard as anyone could push it. We were sitting in the livingroom at the time, and there were no windows open for any sort of draft of wind.

About a month or so after the door shutting, I got a kitty . She would always stare at things in the room, and follow it with her head as if someone was walking by. I felt a lot of cold spots, but nothing actually physical ever happened to me there. I also had friends stay the night one night and sleep on the sofa bed. The next morning they said they were lying in bed just talking when all the sudden something flew from the kitchen area to the balcony doors. We had vertical blinds and they said they opened up in the center, than starting swaying from left to right for a good 5 minutes. They also told me they felt like someone was standing in the hallway watching them. I never told anyone about what happened to me in that place, not even them. For fear they would thing I was a freak! So, after they told me that I was convinced there was something there and I was not losing my mind.

I guess that is long enough for now, but I have more....

I don't know why these things happened to me. I know that the guy I am with now, we been together for 4 years this coming January, thinks I am a tad crazy when I tell him this stuff. I can't help it though. There are things out there.

yeah. that's happened to me too and it startled me at first, but it's just suction (or some such thing) from the wind. I've seen it happen in action too. not spooky or a ghost thing.. sort of like when the stairs creek on a cool summer night or something - it's just the difference in temperature I believe. well.. I've got a couple stories of my own too that (if told in truth) are almost certainly not "normal". I'll tell you guys them tomorrow though.

Heres my story, its pretty freaky so if your under 13, you shouldnt hear this...

When I was home alone one night, I was playing on my computer. All of a sudden, I felt something in my stomache... I needed to go to the bathroom, so I did. And when I got up to flush, there was NOTHING THERE. I was so freaked out, I ran outside and into the woods screaming... I was never heard from again.

That is really weird cuz ive had almost the same thing happen to me , i was taking a nap and i was about a sleep for 2 hours and i was dreaming and in my dream i was dreaming that there was a ghost pulling the sheets off my bed and it seemed SO real and when i woke up i couldnt '' speak, breath, move, I was totally paralyzed'' for like 20 seconds....thats even more creepy that a similar thing happened to you.

Probably the spookiest thing that ever happened to me, and it was pretty spooky, mind you, happened on a cruize ship. Well, here is the story. It was around the fourth day on the cruize and as a side note, I was beginning to hate it, a lot. Anyway, that night, I was listening to my CD player, as I usually do to go to sleep. I had an audio CD of The Hobbit on there, because I love that book. I was listening to it for about twenty minutes, when suddently it stopped and all I heard was, "SHE WILL DIE" in a very deep spooky voice. Let me tell you, I screamed a threw off my headphones right away.

That alone was quite scary, but it didn't end there. We ended up stopping for three days at one of our regular stops in Mexico (it was later said that if we weren't that close, we would have stopped right there and immediately evacuated). Why, is what you may be wondering? Well, someone was murdered in their sleep. I never did tell anyone what I heard. It is actually pretty spooky for me to retell it right now.

So, on one last note, good stories guys. I believe in the paranormal.

Wow that is really freaky I would have had a heart attack probably

I heard someone call my name a few times in the house I am in now. It happened in the same week period, 3 nights at exactly 3:03am ( I looked at the clock next to my bed each time when I heard it). I was lying in bed and I heard someone say my name in a quiet whisper, like they were kneeling on the side of my bed. And when they said it , it was like "Kiiiiiiiiiiiiim"

Real freaky to say the least. That was about 6 months ago and I have not had that happen since.

So many things have happened to me and/or my friends it would take days to type. But I can honestly say that 90% of the stories listed in this thread have happened to myself in one way or another. Because of my long list of strange events, I am going to list the most expensive one:

About 15 miles from my current location is a park that called Top of the World (Ohio State). This place has been a site of numerous events, some of them are even on public record. Anyway, we are at the park about 2am trying to get some video evidence of the ghosts there (no luck). After a bit we decide to leave, there were 4 people in the first car and 3 people in my van. As we head out, the first car is about 20 feet in front of me when suddenly its rear end raises up 2 feet in the air and swings to right extremely fast. I slam my brakes and we all pile out of the van. The first car (a chevy malibu) is sitting sidewise on the road with its passenger side caved in. My friends were ok, if shaken up, but when we look for whatever the car hit the car there was nothing. Now I am not talking about a scratch or a small dent, the side of the car was caved in! The frame itself was bent! After looking around we decide to split fast, but we went back the next day, in daylight, to inspect the area better and still found nothing. One week later 2 of the passengers of the car told me that they heard a voice say "You will pay!". Either way, that event only confirmed to me that ghosts/spirits are real, and some of them are pissed.

One last thing, old movie theaters are some of the most haunted places of all. This is my experience from working at 8 different cinemas in the last 10 years. 7 of those 10 theaters were haunted and proved that on a almost daily basis.

ok. Ill tell a couple events from my life that aren't that spooky but still have their right in this thread:

1. Back when i lived in hawaii in a run-down shack of a house infested with termites and insects, etc. etc. my brother and I had a bunk bed that we slept on - i was on the top bunk and he was on the bottom. i can't remember exactly what happened, but one night when everything was silent, my older brother (on the bottom bunk) called out for my dad who slept in a room across the other side of the house. he came running and so my brother told him that he had seen a hand reach up on his blanket from under the bed and pull the sheets back. my dad asked him if he had prayed that night and he said no so my dad told him to pray and then he went off to bed and we slept (probably not my brother lol)

2. my dad was living in illinois and my brother & I were gone to michigan. he was by himself one night trying to get to sleep (and it was the same night I was sick with either the flue or some such thing in michigan.) He was laying in bed then all of a sudden he hears this voice (that sounds exactly like mine he said). His bed was right by the door to his room and that's where he turned to look where this voice was coming from. Then he said he saw me standing there in the doorway (for what measure of time im not sure) just calling his name. he said he thought about calling me afterward to see how i was doing (he didn't know I was sick).

3. one last one (though there are plenty more): my mom lives separately from us so we were visiting her one day (my older brother, younger brother, and myself). She had a cat named "Paws" that lived in her house and one day we were just sitting around and talking. the cat comes out from the laundry room (which is adjacent to the living room where we were) and has its eye hanging out of its head. I could see it clear as day. it just went back into the laundry room and came out again and its eye was fine... kinda wierd... ok that's it.

p.s. On a lighter note and hardly off-topic, I'd like to tell one last "quaint" story. I was tired after a wearisome day and I was doubting if ever my dream (not going to specify atm) was going to come true that I've been working toward since I was 13. I doubted within myself that I would, but as I was walking up the stairs to my bedroom, I saw this card that one of my friends had sent me a while back. I was curious to read it so I did and it said: The same God who inspired your dreams will help you achieve them. and in bigger print it said KEEP BELIEVING! It also had a verse - Romans 8:28 at the top. The friend was a fellow Christian as well. I'm sure that there is both good and evil in this world and since I had mentioned the evil, I thought I should speak of the good as well.

Eh, I'm not one to believe in ghosts but here are some few experiences I have had...well two experiences that I have repeatedly and can even call up. :P

Sometimes when I'm sitting around I get the feeling that someone is holding my shoulder. Usually it is enough to make me jump in my seat but one time I decided I would stay put. The feeling started to hurt like a vice on my shoulder and eventually I moved and put my hand on my shoulder. I went to the br and looked at my skin and there was a dark red handprint on my shoulder plus a few spots where nails would have punctured me.

Also and don't laugh at this ::::21:: but while meditating I can bring myself to a state where I can hear voices around me and it feels like people are in the room. How is that for bringing yourself to the edge. ::::31::

I dont know if any of you have any experience with the Ouija Board........But this happend to a friend of mine.....belive it if you want....but when he told this story.....tears came to his eyes

Long time ago....a bunch of us were playing on the Ouija and done this many times. At least once a week. We use to play at a friends in the basement the house was built on a old slaughter house. But anyways we use to play all the time and got really hooked on it......long story short.....We all decided to quit playing with it because we had some weird and scary moments.....One day after like a year and a half away at school.....Some of my *new* friends wanted to try the Ouija board out.....and keep in mind these are my new friends at school.....the damn thing said "what took you so long to come back to me" of course everyone else was like wtf....but I knew....of course after I told them you could tell they were like yeah whatever....but the thing/s was waiting on me to come back to it....whatever we contacted the year before was waiting on one of us to contact it again......

This never happend to me but I have heard people say this.......But they say if you take a Ouija board thats been used alot to contact things and put a bible on it that it will scream or if you try to burn it....it wont burn....I dont know how much truth there is to that

I, of course, believe in God and Lucifer, but I seriously doubt that's going to happen. Good laugh though. Maybe I will try it. I'll have to fish around for an old one in a garage sale. I've been a little suspicious of them... would be interesting (perhaps) to see what happens (probably nothing).

p.s. if you hear on the news of a dead boy with a ouija board in his hand and a Bible in the other then you know what happened.

this isnt really about a ghost but, once i was at work working on a bunch of switches, and there was some screws sitting next to the switch which i need to use. when i went to grab on of the screw, my finger was maybe 2 inches away and the screw darted over to my approching hand. i stop and was like woah. a few minutes later when i was going to grab another one it happened again.

I dont think it would have been magnatism since it was just my hand but it was kinda weird.

I have lots of storys that i want to share cuz it's always happens around me all the time, with me, my friends, family members and my girlfriend. This story is about my girlfriend who lives in a huge old house, i call i a castle cuz is so damn big. in her basement, there's a strange trapdoor in the wall who leads under the house, i dont know what it's suposed to, but it's a trapdoor with a lock and a key, the door is 1 meter up from the ground. The trapdoor is always locked so the wind wont open it, and the key is always at the desk next to the trapdoor. Now comes the creepy parts, When my girlfriend is home alone she hears whisperings from the basement, when she went down, she see that the trappdoor is full open, it's very cold, and the creepiest of all, the key is at the desk. She slams the door, lock it again, putting back the key to the desk and rans up to the kitchen. It could take about 2-4 hours and then she hears that whisperings again and the trapdoor is always full open. This could happen like 3 times a week and she hates her house, and worst of all, to be home alone. Always when we shall go down the stairs to the basement for picking up some stuff she holds my hand hard and she is shaking like hell.

Another story is, one day when she came home after school her parents are at work and she are the only one home, exept her two cats. when she is pulling her shoesoff, she hear that the computer on the second floor is on and is about to print a paper, she slams the door and rans to my work and telling me what have happen. After an hour when she has calmed down we deside to drive home to her and see what it was. She waited in the car while i enterd the house. When i was on the second floor, next to the computer it was in off mode, the print had stopped and the paper it was supposed to print was halfway in. i dont have a clue what this is, but i know one thing, it's NOT a human.. This is'nt the worst things that have happend in this house, but i rather not to say more.. Thanks for me. And sorry for my bad English, but i hope you understand
