I have played on a med/med server since the game launched. I am sure people are familier with my views so I won't repeat them here, but as an update...
Couldnt get a group for PQs I said, roll on a full server they said....
Open world PvP was empty and lacklustre I said, roll on a full server they said....
Couldnt find an active guild of good people I said, roll on an full server they said...
Noone talked/ cooperated/ socalised I said, roll on a full server they said...
SO.....
I decide to give WAR a final last gasp in a stupid effort to wring some VFM outta my box cost and roll on a full server...
and you know what?
18 HOURS QUEUE TIME LMAO
So... The option seems to be, at this point in the game's life... roll on a medium pop server and suffer a barren, souless, static, solo zerg game, OR wait wait wait.
Considering the ONLY advice that gets given to me to solve the problems of this game i have seen is to re-roll on a full server, this game gets more and more of a joke to me.
Tragic.

18 hour queue time to getinto the server? Or 18 hour for Scenario queue? The 18hour join time.. is like 10 minutes TOPs.. and I've yet to wait even 10 minutes queued up in a T2 scenario.

I think your issue has a simple answer. Find a guild. I know getting a guild isnt like going to Walmart and hitting the checkout. BUt if you put some time into finding a guild on your server, you will see a whole new side to WAR and the problems you list evaporate.

My server is High/High or High/Full most of the time (Darklands) and most I've ever waited in Q was 15mins that one time. I do play order tho, so I'm guessing you play destruction. LOL.
Its good to see you tried again, but rerolling a reroll is kinda deppressing. But hey, you gave it a shot.
Wow, you waited 18 hours to play? Thats insane. Well, this game isn't for you I guess. Unfortunate that you paid the 50 bucks for nuthin.
But I may suggest try again later. This game is still new come back in a few months. That would be the only other suggestion. Or even find another guild on your original server. Just cause you have friends in the your guild already doesn't mean they will hate you if you leave. And if you find another guild thats great for PQ's and such get your friends to join or ally with them.
Stick it out on your original server till your time is actually up. Then take it from there. Good Luck in your future gaming if it takes you somewhere else.
FYI my server is high/high (Chaos Waste) and it is fairly decent.

You are more than welcome to come to Order on Azazel and contact anyone from SeeSaw The Booy/Alliance is Goon Slayers. We are on all coasts and are on at all times, all over 18 and even a couple of hubby/wife teams. Don't despair, not all servers are this way- heck half the time we are so busy we have a hard time deciding what to do and when- but we are always kickin arse!
the 18h queu time shows up, but a few mins later it drops to like 15-20mins (volkmar) and even that is ultra high, usually its a 4min - 6min wait
I usually dont advice on what others should play because no one but each of us know that. But after reading all your posts (anyone can check them in your history), I will advice you what to do: move on.
Find another game that you like more. Stop playing WAR... this doesnt seem to be a game for you.
We play games for the fun and you are obviously not getting fun in WAR. So move on.

Yah, the 18 hour queue only shows up until someone logs, then it drops to 10-15 minutes.
They should really change that...
All in all I think thats one of the biggest flaws in war you NEED a guild to fully experience the game to me that says you need to be pretty hardcore to get anything out of it, if it isn't casual friendy it'll be nothing more than another niched game catering for a few hardcore players.

All righty then.
If you are done with the game, be done with it. If you are going to invent a story to smear the game, at least make it believable.
If you want to give a higher population server an honest try, don't be obtuse about it. It's not too hard to find a high pop server that also isn't the server with the longest queue times.

In all honesty I have no idea what your deal is. I originaly played on "Sea of Claws" thinking population would take off, it didn't sooo I decided to reroll on a more populated server and since then problem fixed. I play on Sylvania, only had a login queue time once and aside from that its all good. I found a decent guild and at T3 it takes about 3 minutes to get into an RvR scenario. PQ's are not usually busy but thats not a game killer for me usually I just go through them to get better equipment.
Well, I am on Ostermark.
a)Never once had a login queue.
b)Have about a 5-10 minute wait for scenarios.
c)Did three PQs last night with a full party of 6. We'd do each one twice for renown and to give everyone a fair shot at loot, then move on to another, and then another. Fast and fun.
d)While I wasn't a part of it, the two keeps in T2 (Elf) changed hands that night, so obviously, there was some RVR going on. Order seized both keeps. Go, Order!
So, I need to wait until someone logs, and THEN wait 10-15 mins to play?
None of the fans that defend this game are seeing the problem in that? Having a random amount amount of time (min 10-15 mins) before I can actually play the game before I have paid for?

I totally agree with you. Sometimes I only have 30 mins to play sometimes and it would suck waiting that time. But just like everything in life, those are the bad breaks. Its what you take from it that counts. Me personally, If that happened everytime I logged on at this point in my char (highest is 16 Zealot) I would so reroll. Especially now that there doing the bonus xp and stuff.
But Like I stated in my post, give it till your sub runs out at least. Get something for what you pay for.
AND not to be rude, but just because you pay for a service does not mean your intitled to immediate service when you want. Look at MacDOnalds. Gotta stand in line to spend money there to.

I play on a very high pop euro server,and get queues every night.
the 18 hour queue thing is what looks to be a bug. youll start up and it'll say estimated time 18hours 19 minutes and then some seconds. it drops down to the real time about 10 seconds later.
a queue of 700 people takes 2 hours,and my usual queue of 140-160 takes around 30-40 mins.
so unless your server has 5000+ players all waiting to get on at the same time,youre seeing the exact same bug as me and countless others.

And I didn't either. I played DAoC for a good 5 years before only being able to stomach WoW for 8 months. WoW definitely did not lower my expectations. Hell, I got queues in DAoC. I've been playing MMOs for almost 8 years now, and I've gotten queues in every game I've played (minus my little forays into SWG, but that's a different story).
Okay. Why is the unacceptable in a paid game? You have yet you have a coherent argument for this spill from your fingers.
