People elsewhere are guessing that it's some sort of expanded support or something, I'm not entirely clear on it. I'm not sure I could bring myself to pay for Bnet - it would be like paying an ugly man to spank me! Micro-transactions, however, would totally put me off. I'm a BIG Diablo fan so it would hurt passing up on this game.
What are these unknown features? If they're new levels, classes, quests, etc., yes, I'm fine with paying for them (that's just an expansion without the hassel of going through stores). I love Episode 1 and 2, for instance, and those are just "Content released after launch I paid additional money for." Anyone who thinks Valve screwed their customers there needs their head examined.
If it's actually microtransactions, no, not okay.

If this is true that's some real fucken greedy shit from Blizzard. They're already making like 100 million bucks a month just of WoW
What amazing feat of math do you use to make these numbers up?

1) They said these are new unknown features... the normal game should be just as before.
2) They are NOT looking at making people pay to play on Battle.net. This is info within the game, NOT the service.
3) Whine and moan all you want... in the end, you will buy it or you wont. Period. Blizzard, Activision, Microsoft, or even Intel dont give a flying crap what you say on a forum or toss around in a flame-war.

Glad to see more people actually read the link. Rather then post that the sky is falling and never bother reading the link.

I dont think they will let you pay for B-net,
if they do, this news will like a boom and blow up the whole gaming network and everyone will talk about it.
