I played wow once, a long time ago, sure there was some things that annoyed me, and yes i was bored sometimes, what i've come to realize is, its like that in every other MMO, theres no perfect MMO out there, yet. and untill then, i will get a new key and start in WoW again.
I rolled a UD rogue on Ravencrest, and its so much fun, idc if people say it isnt challenging, and its gear based, so what? I just played WAR and i've never been so bored in a MMO... and even though i LOVE PvP, i also like the 1v1, and 2v2 etc. in WAR its mostly 12v12 (scens) 24 v 24+ (O rvr) and i was playing melee... sigh..
WoW might not be the hardest MMO out there, but atleast i have fun. and untill something better comes out, ill stick with it.

ill glad your going back to the game you had fun in i decided last night since i was bored with all my other mmos that i was gonna go back and start a new character. im glad i did
i have quit about 3-4 times and came back to play the new class DK and....omg they are the best thing to happen to wow. If u have not tried out the DKs yet u need to.
You've pretty much nailed my philosophy perfectly. People expect too much from WoW. It is not pretending to be an in-depth RPG with sandbox gameplay and super-hardcore strategyfest PvP. It is what it is; a simple, fun and highly polished game brimming with content. As soon as something better comes along I'll give it a shot. Until then, WoW is my home.
Well back when i quit i gave my account away, so i can't try the new class yet.. but it doesnt matter, i have all the time in the world to get there.. im not in a hurry..
only thing that concerns me is that theres so many DK's running around, but i guess that will cool off at some point.

Do yourself a favore and take the $15 you spend on this game a month and buy yourself a happy meal. You'll get more satifaction out of the toy in the box then you would playing this again.

Games that have 11 million subs tend to 'stick around'. Just one of those funny little business anomalies, y'know...

Everyone has different likes, dislikes ect. But your right, what you find is fun cant be disputed. That is what games are all about. Let the haters hate, and the players play.
As i always say, why play tyhe clones when you can play the actual thing?

Ok about 4 months ago, I hated wow too, but my friend got wrath of the lich king and sent me a scroll of ressurection. After playing a little while Wrath of the Lich king came out. I have to say I was very impressed by it. This is coming from a 5 year EQ veteran. So I know how easy wow is to play however with this newest expansion blizzard did make the mobs a little tougher. It is not that you can't kill anything two levels higher than you. But the the spawn rate is crazy fast. No i wasn't 70 going into northrend but am 72 now. I am not decked out in pvp or raid gear. But my feral druid from the expansion pack gear I am up to almost 17k hp in bear form, almost 13k in Tauren/Cat form. Almost 3k Attack power in cat. But anyways, thats not what this is about. I am just saying I resubbed again. I also understand what the original poster is saying.

There is not another game out there on the market that can compare to WoW atm. Yes WoW is EASY MODE. But, once you get past that point and realize that the Quests, Instances, Crafting are all fun. Then you can accept the game for what it is.

When I first played WOW a few months before TBC came out I had a horrible time finding people to group with because everyone was a much higher level. Now that Blizzard made a new server Grizzly Hills I have been enjoying the game alot more and finding it fun. On Grizzly Hills it is packed with people now, 10+ Guilds already with alot in each guild. Playing on a new server makes it feel like a new game.

I'm kind of surprised Grizzly isnt being slammed with too many people wanting to reroll
I rerolled on Cairne earlier this year
- it was the only new server prior to Grizzly that didnt allow transfers
and it was very popular, complete with login waits during prime time

I'm back too. So far I'm having fun. My plan is to just roll alts, try out each class to 20 or 30. But like usual I will probably get sucked in and take one character to the max.
I grouped up with a few people last night and had a good time. Hopefully there is more of that.
I went back too and i am having a lot of fun and getting addicted to it again. Too bad I havent bought the expansion yet or else i could be a death knight right now.

anyone know if the majority on grizzly is speaking english? i dont like to be on servers with majority of people speaking a language i dont understand... :P

Yeah took me forever so to speak to finish some quests because there are a ton of peole in the low level areas in the Stormwind areas. It's been fun!

WOW has weekly server maintenance, so we can have a more stable gaming experience, and they are maintaining their server NOW
Ahh okay, thanks, if it was pvp and EU it would have been perfect.. :P i might go there anyway, since there will be alot of ppl to group with, ill check it out later tonight.
edit: i was wondering though, how long does new servers like this stay closed for transfers...?

We will be opening a brand new PvE realm, Grizzly Hills, in the morning (pacific time) of November 13 to coincide with the launch of Wrath of the Lich King!
As a fresh realm it will not be open to character transfers for 3 months and in-game events like the opening of Ahn’Qiraj will be waiting for players to be completed. This realm will be part of the Retaliation battlegroup and set to the eastern timezone.
