It does not matter what definition of vaporware you use. Darkfall fits ALL of them. Darkfall is not available for purchase at this time. That means, right now, it is vaporware. To deny that only shows that you have no idea what the word means, or just choose not to believe it for your own personal reasons.
Vaporware is not a branding that can never be changed. It's like saying someone is a teenager. It does not mean they will never be an adult, it just means that right now, using the facts that are presented, that person is a teenager. Well, serious Gaming magazines will not review the Beta like that. You don't go to a publisher and have them hovering around you while you are testing/playing and actually "helping" you play. That's beside the point really.

They have been playing for a few hours here at our offices and we've been helping them out. They requested this visit over a month ago and we agreed. We'll do the same for any professional gaming media that's interested to come here and get a hands-on experience of the game. We will allow media wider access to the beta soon enough, but for now this can only happen on site. We have not lifted the NDA, but we have allowed them access just for their review, but not to answer questions after this is out. The journalist are not exempt from the NDA. They only say what Tasos allows them right now and are allowed to say nothing once they leave. So this whole thread topic has become pointless, seeing as how it is false.
Please learn to comprehend, the NDA was lifted DURING THE VISIT, so they are free to write what EVER they like about waht they experinced at AV offices.

Yep I understand your point I was there when WoW was released and it was really lack luster, but its completely irrelevant cause the game is FEATURE COMPLETE and just needs stress testing, so the december deadline shouldnt be a problem, unless they are pulling another "DF2003 clan beta and release", but they arent the game is FEATURE COMPLETE just wait until december for release.

- an "uber event" - athene wtf? - with no visitor leaking some "unofficial" info;
- gameplays - adventurine ones, hell like 2005, or was it 2004?
- Some beta messages (from... Tasos
);
- Two crazy italians who went to Greece to see the game--- but their (Pre)(re)(wtf?!)views only under Adventurine supervising

- A ZERO LAG need combat system --- but still only greeks are testing the game
- Not to mention that we only saw GOBLINS at moment , no chat, no client, no ogres, no dragons no DFO!- and the game launches in 39 days

I didn't see your original message, but what I meant by that comment was that this won't appease trolls. I am a skeptic fan of Darkfall, so I take the good with the bad. Letting two admins from mmorpgitalia "into beta", releasing what will probably be pre-selected information, and that's it? This doesn't prove there is a beta yet... Is this all some advertising scheme by Aventurine I wonder? I don't know what their angle is, but I do really wish they could let in like 20,000 people, hire some PR that could talk to everyone, lift the NDA, or something! Darkfall is just a mystery wrapped in a riddle.

Darkfall is suppose to be able to have 10000 simultaneous player online. Lets not use bad mouth at a mmo like this, don`t complain of all isn`t 100% and don`t rush the game until it`s ready.
Just do as the rest of us...hope and pray we will get a good game this time.

What do you mean released too early according to Tasos the game is "FEATURE COMPLETE" this also has been claimed by a number of the more hardcore DF fanbois on this website, so delay is not an option anymore.

Yep I understand your point I was there when WoW was released and it was really lack luster, but its completely irrelevant cause the game is FEATURE COMPLETE and just needs stress testing, so the december deadline shouldnt be a problem, unless they are pulling another "DF2003 clan beta and release", but they arent the game is FEATURE COMPLETE just wait until december for release.
