I am pretty sure, that it will be between 12.99 or 14.99. Blizzard will prolly opt for one of those two costs, but 9.99 isn't out of the question. But the inbetween price points arnt, gonna happen, It will be 9.99 12.99 14.99. One of those. Thats just how marketing is.
I would say 12.99, but then again it wont matter what they charge because the 12 yr old's will filter out unless either they steal Dad's Credit card or Dad lets them play..so alot of youngsters will be outand the rest of us want to REALLY play so we will pay whatever..to an extent. So I would say any price on your poll wont matter because you will have all kinds of people in all those price ranges <IMG src="http://www.mmorpg.com/images/emoticons/emt_beer.gif">
This thread is the only reason why I have not preordered the game yet. I wish Blizz would release the monthly payment so I can decided yay or nay. If it is over 15 bucks a month then there is no way I will buy this game. anywhere under and I am golden
I voted for $12.99 because thats what I payed for FFXI, but I will pay up to $15.

15$ a month is going to make it hard to swallow- mainly because it will be 30 for my household(me + spouse). It would be cool to see competition do it's job, and technology improvements do their job and the monthly fee go down, rather than up.

So 10$ for you will be ok but 15$ not? No offense but are you saying you really can't "swallow" 2x5$ more a month?
I understand him.. 20$ or 30$ is quite a difference IMO... think about the fact that it has to be payed every single month you want to play... but still my own limit is at 15$ per account...
The fee will only go up with inflation and rising cost of game development... Blizzard is a company in a capitalist nation like any other. They dont make games because they like to or they want to make you happy... they make them to make money. Especially vivendi which probably makes this decision. The fact is 15 bucks/month is 50c per day... and if I play for one hour per day that money was WELL spent. 50c for an hour of excellent entertainment is an awesome deal... where else can you get entertainment as good as WoW for 50 cents?
I play more than an hour a day too... I probably will play WoW for an average of 3 hours per day and so I'd be willing to pay significantly more than $15 per month... I would be willing to pay at least 20 if they asked. Also remember that the more profitable the gaming industry is... the more people will get into it and the more competition there will be- thus better games for us. The MMORPG market is pretty saturated right now though and every game that comes out just takes its customers from another game pretty much...
I pay $80 per month for my digital cable TV. I would rather have a good MMO like WoW than cable. I wouldnt pay $80 per month... but maybe $40.
I think it will be $12 if not i just wont buy that fast food or that pizza whatever it may be, but i will play even if it just for 2 months i will play lmao

I love WoW and I would be willing to pay $20 american per month to play it... but I think it will be 14.99 like all the other big name MMOs right now.
12 sounds fari....not to high not to low right in the middle.
I think that Blizzard doesn't only make games for the money, but also because they are fanatics. Thats why I voted 10.99$

All the mmorpg's in the top 5 are at least 13$, most 15$.
Why would WoW be cheaper?

LOL, you would be willing to pay twenty bucks a month or so? Just don't let them know that!
We must haggle the price until our day's end! A community of super complainers should be good at this.
