    1) Everquest (made a bunch of friends, held interest for about 4 years, and had some of the best times of my gaming life)

    2) Final Fantasy XI (Love the subclass idea and the selling/buying system was great excellent game all around)

    3) Shadowbane (the game itself was kinda lame but the PvP was absolutley awsome)

    4) Dark Ages of Camelot (It was an OK game nothing special but not THAT bad)

    5) City of Heroes (Great game the first week or so but then all downhill from there)

Have seen WoW and EQ2 both in beta and ill tell you one thing. I have preordered EQ2 =)

    1. Ashen Empires.     A great mixture of rping, pvm and pvp adventure. Although it's ISOgraphical, it's my alltime number 1.   Still playing it after 2.5 years including beta-testing. Try it out :)

    2. Neocron 1-2        Doesn't need much explanation, great graphics, good gameplay.

    3. Dark and Light     Although not released yet, one of the most promising mmorpgs for the future. Beta-testing it and enjoying it too :)

    4. BiosFear             I pretty much enjoyed this game, though it doesn't really go further then pure hack'n slash.

    5. UO                    Not bad, not bad at all. My first experience with mmorpg and i'm still in love with these kind of games, so definately worth mentioning !

    1. Everquest, no game since has kept my interest for over 4 years.

    2. Dark Age of Camelot, best game to balance pvp and mmorpg to date imho.

    3. Earth and Beyond, great space game and sad EA did not give it the support it deserved.

    4. Finaly Fantasy XI

    5. Lineage II, really hard for me to put this game here but game was good, community, bots and devs lack of care ruined this game.

Worst MMO.. well I have not played them all so I can only tell you what was the worst out of the dozen I have played.. and winner of worst mmorpg...

Star Wars Galaxies.. it truely was the dark side of gaming. Lucas handed a star studded lic, and Sony gave us star studded *bleep*

Don't know if Sonys to blame or if Lucas Arts tied Sonys hands down a lot on the project. Who ever it was it came to be an awful game. Remove the Star Wars theme and game lacks anything to keep you coming back.

LOL I'm so glad we didn't waste too much money on this game. My SO played it for a while. Cool game, but no one around. :: yawn :: Maybe someday it'll come around, though I highly doubt it. Sad.

    1. Everquest 2 (ok ok I haven't played it yet but I have never been this excited for the release of a game)

    2. Dark Age of Camelot (I could probably write a novel complaining about it's flaws but the bottom line is I had alot of fun in DAOC)

    3. Lineage 1 (I could probably write 2 novels complaining about it's flaws but I started playing it back in early beta and I had a blast for several years)

    4. MapleStory (sure it's laggy as hell now that a billion people are playing it but it's originality has won me over)

    5. Everquest 1 (overall it wasn't my cup of tea but you can't deny that this game has the most content of any MMORPG out there)

    2. Dark Age of Camelot

    3. MU Online (was awesome for about a month)

    5. Lineage2

I didnt miss num. 4, its just that I havnt played that many MMORPGS, I just play a couple for a long time instead, and Lineage2 doesn't deserve to be anywhere but last , so I had to put it on fifth.

    1) AC1, yea it was my first so I'm sorta like a virgin, so even if the ya know what was bad it still felt good. :)

    2) UO, tried it out on the free shards, some shards are good and some are flat out crappy, but the variety kicked much butt, and no levels!!!

    3) AO, first scifi mmo I tried, I liked it but right now I'm really really bored with the way they nerfed ranged weapons.

    4) NWN, I don't know if it fits here but it was really my next that I really liked...

    5) EVE-Online[currently playing] I think it's OKAY but I might go back to AO or AC1... o.o

Top list of most hated MMOs

    1) SWG, they promised the galactic conflict but NEVER delivered, the play fields have all been disabled and still are!

    2) AC2, bugs galore when I came but I heard it's gotten better, I may try it again. :)

That's pretty much my lists, I really pick on SWG because of the Galactic Conflict. I mean I was really rearing to get a blaster and be one of the millions that got fragged by Vader's elite forces. It would've been fun. I'm just waiting for someone to mod someting like HL2 or something with the same stuff in mind. :)

    1. Everquest - It was great in the begining and I played for 5 years. It's only number typically because I don't know much else besides what i've played for so long.

    2. DAoC - This game appealed to me after friends started playing when they quit EQ. I played off and on for two years and it's addictive for a period of time but after awhile it was just " this isn't EQ this isn't what i'm used to" so it made me want to play less.

    3. Planetside - This is the best mmorpg i've played but I honestly only played for a short period of time (2 days) on a friends account. While I love the game I don't have as much expierence in it to say it's so incrediably amazing.

    4. City of Heros - This game was great for a week or so. The character creation was fun and for the first 10 levels it was ok. But weither i screwed up my character or not it became so hard to do single player missions and level up without finding a group. It was way to repeditive and despite other people liking it so much, I just wasn't a huge fan.

    5. FFXI - I beta'd it for a month or so before it was released. I was happy in the begining but things never worked out. It was fun but dull. Once you got to a point in the game it was just over, even if they didn't tell you it was over. I never played live but I hear it's similar.

I hope to see good things from:

    1. Obviously WoW. I don't have interest in the way it looks all cartoony but this isn't supposed to look like real life. It looks like a good game and it's deffinatly getting all the hype. I won't be buying this right away but I have friends who will and i'll try it out to see if I like it.

    2. EQ2 - It looks amazing from screenshots and it's just what I want. I feel like I can get a house, and become a crafter-type person for when I only have a short time to play it. It also looks more interesting quest wise and story wise than EQ is presently. I will be buying this after it's initial release date to let the first week kinks go.

    3. Guild Wars - If this was being released this year instead of next, I wouldn't consider other games. I love to pvp, even if EQ pvp was terrible I spent most of my time after I stopped raiding to pvp and get good at it. Pvp is what online games are for! And not having to pay a fee is great

    4. Dark and Light - This game looks good and hopefully when it releases it will prove worthy. I like the way it looks but there is so much work to be done I can't say much about it

    5. Last but not least, Vanguard, Saga of Heros - This game is what i will hopefully be playing a year from now. Out of all upcoming games, this is what I am most interested in. Made by the creators of orignal Everquest, the screens look good, the story looks good, and overall the game looks like it will be a winner. I again, can't say much for there is little new data coming from the game but it seems to be coming along.
