IMO you have to have some entertainment in your life or its not worth living.
1 night at the bar 50$. I am 99% sure that I am guranteed a good time. 50$ on an MMO granted a lot of play time in a month, but when/if i quit after a month I am leaving pissed off. Like AoC. I would much rather have my 115$ back from AOC (got the CE+1 month sub) and spend 115$ at a bar for 1 night. When I buy an MMO I plan to play it for a while.

I will never pre-order a mmo or buy a mmo without a trial run anymore! Have been burned too many times w/ bad releases. If they don't have the money to start a good launch it should never been launched, imo. I don't feel I need to be the first one in, and can wait to hear the reviews and other players have to say before I play another mmo. I want a fun, quality mmo. It shouldn't happen on my dime. If they create a fun mmo, they I'll pay the monthly fee to play it.
I have a feeling Darkfall is not ready for release. Ready for release should be a completed quality game and not when the money runs out. But if they ever have a free trial period, I will try it and go from there.

I am sorry but this has to be the dumbest fanboi post I have read on these forums ever. Seriously, I should pre-order to help them out. I don't think so - they should be smart enough and well-financed enough to get the servers up and running without my dollar.
Add to that, Tasos saying there would be no pre-order program, I do not trust Aventurine anyway so I sure as heck will not trust them with my money.

we know nothing about the map +1 point, we know nothing about how the skills work +1 point, we know nothing on how to level to end game in twenty minutes or less A++ and 10 points. most games only get a 9.? i think this one rates a A++ 12. for not saying here is what you get, but sometime in the future. Sounds good enough to me. Oh and for those that like PvP of course they will bitch because the game is not half dead yet so no place to stab them in the back....
