Wow, the memories. I was a Master Smuggler that took just enough CH to get me a (what I thought) was a really cool side kick, my Chewy so to speak. I settled on a Giant Crystal Snake! Loved it.
That thing is worth a fortune in the current SWG, because snakes in general can't be sampled for DNA. Something to do with the "size" of it that makes it tough to free target.
CH, Jedi, Commando, Smuggler, BH, Scout, Doctor, Chef, BE...yeah, lots of SWG time invested.
Swamp Stalker was my fav. Kinda hard to find to. They were akin to the plains hunter in looks and size,. and they had some awesome resist.. You could have 2 of these cats out with you and in the early days it was a nice combo with a ranged master profession . Having two 9k ham pets that ran near as fast as a swoop meant an enemy was not getting away if they decided to run mid fight or just before they died.
Bull ranocr was a cool pet to. The enraged fulapesent ( forget the exact spelling ) made one of the most awsome mounts it was like riding on a 2 story tall beast and the view you got was some how doubled in all directions. ( or so it seemed ) You could actualy see on top of a guild hall with the camera angled right .
The gapping spider recluse was a big fun scary spider to pop on people , it was like 2-3 times the size of a normal gapping spider and had some what of a differant coloring - dark greenish. I would pop that some times at guild events and freak people out
The malklocs and the giant turtles were also alot of fun to show off , especially long after the great nerfs to ch and many new players about never ever seen one.
OOO just thought of another of my favourite all time pet's.
For months I had been trying to get a Mantrigue Screecher baby and then one day in came a tell one had been spotted so off I toddled to Endor to attempt to tame this exceptionally rare baby.
7 Tame attempts 6 visit's to the cloner later and it was mine and boy was it a nice pet possibly the only true PVP pet seeing it devestate a opponents HAM bars with its disease was insane then it got nerfed but was still deadly.
Gave CH up not long after and sold that pet for 2m consider that NS Bicep's sold for around 11m at that time and you see the value of that pet.
Jax - cause I'm a cat lover. Most of my characters had Jax in one form or another.
Don't know if this counts, but Nightsisters were my favorite baddies. I liked that they were actually kind of fleshed out - different types with different agendas and what not.
