LOL what pre-orders, this game is coming out in less then 18 days and there is not 1 info on pre order or sub or anything that matters, i was waiting for this game now i find out all the limits to the game . Add to that the characters look worse then eq 1 and move about the same , and not 3rd person view by choice.. what is it are we so bad off that we take any pvp ffa as scraps of food for the poor ?
I would guess that if they don't have pre-orders up and running they will just sell full game like eve online does and offer a free trial before you buy deal, i mean that is the only honest way to sale online ..

And there is the problem , i can see why they might do pre orders, if they do have 200-300k pre orders , i say they will release the game cause with no trial you must pay in full and no returns if its crap.. also if i buy this game as pre order will i get to play , a staged release maybe needed .. what the hell does that mean, we need to know will it take them how long to open more servers ? sorry the server is full , try again next week when we add another , thanks for preording your game .. lol since i had to open the box for install i am stuck waiting god knows how long until they open more ,could be months..

I think it'll be delayed, which, the general consensus thinks, is a good thing. They want the game to be ready. In all actuality, they're right - if the game needs to be delayed, then delay it. The only thing that makes me not okay with it and will make me laugh at Aventurine if they delay is Tasos. "We'll never give out a release date until we're absolutely sure we can make it, I promise!" Missed that with Jan. 22, and now he has the gall to give out another one that he might miss as well? Pathetic.

I have zero problems with another delay and another after that and another after that. I've been watched DFO for years, just like a lot of other people, but I don't want them to put it out before they are finished with it.
They can't make you people happy either way, if they put it out and it's not ready then everyone will bitch and moan that they shouldn't have released when they did. If they dont' release then everyone will bitch and moan that they broke their promise again and that there is nothing there to play and it's Vaporware.

And your whole reasoning behind bitching is that you can't have your PvE only character? This game obviously isn't for people like you then and you seem to be missing the entire point behind DF. If you want a PvE only game there is plenty of them out there so why even get on these forums and post? This game is trying to cater to a small niche of gamers that want to see specific things in a game. We finally got the game we have been looking for then people like you come and bitch about how you will be open to PvP at any time and can't have your PvE only flagged character.....
