Seriously, when you see images like that, how can you not think that the devs are making fun of the people still paying to play that game?  Man I miss pre-NGE SWG, but the garbage they are putting in the game now is just wrong.  I heard they did in-game Halloween decorations last year too.  wtf?

A sure sign that you are in an old, dying paradigm/mindset, is when you are scared of new ideas and new technology. Don't feel bad. The world is moving on without you, and you are welcome to yell "Get Off My Lawn!" all you want while it happens. You cannot, however, stop an idea whose time has come.

instead of fixing the gcw the devtards in swg focus on flying ewoks with purple hearts.

how can anyone take this game seriously anymore.

  • MackerniMackerni Member Posts: 230

If this isn't the final straw on the, "We made NGE to make SWG more Star Wars-y", then I don't know what is.

There is no Valentine's Day in "A Long Time Ago, In a Galaxy Far, Far Away"

LOL,What on earth are the dev thinking to release that as a valentines theme in game. It looks like the carebear gay festival of love. Get your sabre out and show the ewokes the way of the force.

  • BushMonkeyBushMonkey Member Posts: 1,406

Got wind of this a couple days ago, the Ewok Cherub, I have watched SOE pull some lame $hit over the course of the last 4 years, but this really has to take the cake.

I find your lack of faith in canon breaking, mindless drivel content whose resources could have instead been used to fix lag, collision issues and valid content disturbing.

Seriously though, "all new low" isn't even close to describing this event. Ugh.

Lol at those Ewoks, but then again you didn't have to visit those festivals, I bet some people even like them, and some who play might simply ignore them if they not into that.

Don't feel it fits Star Wars, but then again it's still a form of entertainment, for some enjoyeble, and for some not, not that hard to understand most reactions though.  If I would have been playing SWG I probebly not have visited it, but these are things that certain roleplayers can apriciate even if it's not really Star Wars related but meant as a entertaining feature during holiday seasons.

"Festival of Love" and "Chocolate Fountains"...

    Holy sh*t.

I'm having a really hard time picturing Darth Vader in the same realm with that.

  • BarCrowBarCrow Member UncommonPosts: 2,195

lol....I liked the game when I played it...don't remember running into any cherubesque Ewoks though...and I could barely find the resources to make a light sabre...much less a fountain of chocolate. This is pretty lame.
