and What exactly makes this game so in-depth and DEEP I don't see anything that makes it seem interesting at all unless you happen to enjoy Macro/Grinding, A horrible community, Jumping in front of people so u can get a free PK with no alignment change, etc. etc. Give me one example of what makes this sooo much better than ANY other game on the market. (besides those asian grindfests they don't count.)

Clan to Clan interaction in this game was and will be like no other game in the market with perhaps the exception of EVE. Clan relations acctually have an impact on your game experience, it isn't just who killed what new PvE encounter first or who "won" the arena mini games. Weeks and months of peoples work will be destroyed, players will snitch and be forever marked as such, clans will backstab and politics will play out in a way that modern status quo MMO's can't even dream of. This adds a depth, a player created depth that is in my personal experience in beta, one of the major draws of this game.
There are flaws to pick at no doubt but the core game is stable and potential very high. I don't recommend that most people pre-order this game, I have advised a couple friends to wait at least a month or two or even till NA release but I have played and very much enjoyed the game since Jan 22 and I have already pre-ordered in part for the reasons stated above.
I like the DF community. Dealing with the normal types of people that played WoW made me want to throw up in that game's forums and chat.
I also like all the differences within DF such as FFA PvP, full loot, no auto target, and no auto attack. I don't know of another game that has all those features in one. I also like how everyone isn't tantalized with magic items, magic weapons and armor such that when you loot that shiny peice of unmagic metal object, you use it and appreciate it instead of just leaving it on the mob or player's corpse as with every other game where the normal items are unwanted and unlooted.
I definitely have some concerns for the game but the community and the features/mechanics aren't a concern for me. I like those things.
My biggest concern is the lack of common sense I see out of the developing team at times and that is a huge concern.

True, as they were in Darktide and UO before as well. It is inherent to the nature of open PvP games and Darkfall uses this natural endowment very effectively.

That is the thing, people have different wants and taste. For example, I got drawn in to playing WAR by a few real life buddies. I had an ok time, I didn't mind the casual nature of the game but it just didn't click with me in the long run. I got in to the DF beta and never even touched WAR again and cancled my account within a week.
I was never a DF fanboy. I am however one of the long term followers, I stumbled upon the game in 2002 but by 2006 I believed the game was vapour and never going to see the light of day. As the last few months rolled around and the game began to materalize I again took notice and by beta it exceeded my relatively low expectations by a considerable amount.
I have pre-ordered without reserve and as long as server stability is not a problem any "unfinnished content" doesn't make the game unworthy of a fee, not when every single MMO I have ever played was a work in progress.
In the end it's ironic, both the fanboys and the vapourtrolls are right, just in there own limited context.
I laugh though, the game is great and kicks ass, if you don't like it go back to WoW. Thats my limited opinion.

Ok so how many testers were there? I'll except your statement the vast majority of testers want to preorder it. (though as far as facts I think all you have is a poll from less then 400 players done almost a month ago right?) I will add the vast majority of the testers were pretty much hand picked by Aventurine and last I heard (speculation from the most part) was they did not get up to 10K testers. In other words the testers are not a good sampling of random players IMO, Nor a large number to base weither the game is truelly good off of. (and yes i know because i don't simply believe the game is good because you and some other fans say so im a vaporwarez troll right?)

Since the games not truely released yet I'd wait a bit before proclaiming the games good. Niether am i saying the games bad. (I never have.) End point we probably really won't know if the games good or bad for another 3-6 months.
All games have some trouble out the door, I have no doubt DF will have some issues in its first few weeks. that will not mean the games bad. We'll have to see how it is after the first month.
Like wise Almost all players (IMO) go into new games with rose colored glasses. Games are extremely cool when they are new and we're esploring and learning the ropes etc. the quest is after the newness wears off how good is the game. Once again not something that can (IMO) be sumed up in beta or the first 2-3 weeks of launch.
Don't worry if Df is a major success in the next 2-3 months i'll still be here for for you to rub it in and you can tell me how right you were and how the DF fans were never wrong about anything etc etc etc. (Which IMHO seems to be the main point / motivation of your thread here right?)

No more will we have rabid fanbois spewing BS (200 vs 200 battles, everyone will be able to play before they buy, no pre-orders, games complete and ready totally bug free thanks to AI bug testing etc etc etc the list goes on and on) There will just be the game and what it truely is for better or worse, seems that scares you. Though I doubt that will prevent the Aventurine devs from trolling this site but at least there will be a free flow of factual information which means less bs hype from the rabid fanbois and no more vaporwarez from the vaporwarez trolls.

Sorry if peopel cant fathom that people have fun in DF. We dont care if we are the minority that likes a full loot open pvp game, as long as there is at least one full server, we get an incredibly fun MMO experience.
I think some are bitter because the rest of the market is god awful right now with the clones.
and What exactly makes this game so in-depth and DEEP I don't see anything that makes it seem interesting at all unless you happen to enjoy Macro/Grinding, A horrible community, Jumping in front of people so u can get a free PK with no alignment change, etc. etc. Give me one example of what makes this sooo much better than ANY other game on the market. (besides those asian grindfests they don't count.)
Clan to Clan interaction in this game was and will be like no other game in the market with perhaps the exception of EVE. Clan relations acctually have an impact on your game experience, it isn't just who killed what new PvE encounter first or who "won" the arena mini games. Weeks and months of peoples work will be destroyed, players will snitch and be forever marked as such, clans will backstab and politics will play out in a way that modern status quo MMO's can't even dream of. This adds a depth, a player created depth that is in my personal experience in beta, one of the major draws of this game.
There are flaws to pick at no doubt but the core game is stable and potential very high. I don't recommend that most people pre-order this game, I have advised a couple friends to wait at least a month or two or even till NA release but I have played and very much enjoyed the game since Jan 22 and I have already pre-ordered in part for the reasons stated above.
I like the DF community. Dealing with the normal types of people that played WoW made me want to throw up in that game's forums and chat.
I also like all the differences within DF such as FFA PvP, full loot, no auto target, and no auto attack. I don't know of another game that has all those features in one. I also like how everyone isn't tantalized with magic items, magic weapons and armor such that when you loot that shiny peice of unmagic metal object, you use it and appreciate it instead of just leaving it on the mob or player's corpse as with every other game where the normal items are unwanted and unlooted.
I definitely have some concerns for the game but the community and the features/mechanics aren't a concern for me. I like those things.
My biggest concern is the lack of common sense I see out of the developing team at times and that is a huge concern.
Good points but all those were in Shadowbane as well, still good to hear your having fun.
Funny part is that why people assume game is good if it have lots of preorders.
Getting customers when it comes to MMO's is not that hard keeping them well that's the different story.
When it comes to Darkfall it reminds me a lot of Dark and Light.

True, as they were in Darktide and UO before as well. It is inherent to the nature of open PvP games and Darkfall uses this natural endowment very effectively.

That is the thing, people have different wants and taste. For example, I got drawn in to playing WAR by a few real life buddies. I had an ok time, I didn't mind the casual nature of the game but it just didn't click with me in the long run. I got in to the DF beta and never even touched WAR again and cancled my account within a week.
I was never a DF fanboy. I am however one of the long term followers, I stumbled upon the game in 2002 but by 2006 I believed the game was vapour and never going to see the light of day. As the last few months rolled around and the game began to materalize I again took notice and by beta it exceeded my relatively low expectations by a considerable amount.
I have pre-ordered without reserve and as long as server stability is not a problem any "unfinnished content" doesn't make the game unworthy of a fee, not when every single MMO I have ever played was a work in progress.
In the end it's ironic, both the fanboys and the vapourtrolls are right, just in there own limited context.
I laugh though, the game is great and kicks ass, if you don't like it go back to WoW. Thats my limited opinion.

Ok so how many testers were there? I'll except your statement the vast majority of testers want to preorder it. (though as far as facts I think all you have is a poll from less then 400 players done almost a month ago right?) I will add the vast majority of the testers were pretty much hand picked by Aventurine and last I heard (speculation from the most part) was they did not get up to 10K testers. In other words the testers are not a good sampling of random players IMO, Nor a large number to base weither the game is truelly good off of. (and yes i know because i don't simply believe the game is good because you and some other fans say so im a vaporwarez troll right?)

Since the games not truely released yet I'd wait a bit before proclaiming the games good. Niether am i saying the games bad. (I never have.) End point we probably really won't know if the games good or bad for another 3-6 months.
All games have some trouble out the door, I have no doubt DF will have some issues in its first few weeks. that will not mean the games bad. We'll have to see how it is after the first month.
Like wise Almost all players (IMO) go into new games with rose colored glasses. Games are extremely cool when they are new and we're esploring and learning the ropes etc. the quest is after the newness wears off how good is the game. Once again not something that can (IMO) be sumed up in beta or the first 2-3 weeks of launch.
Don't worry if Df is a major success in the next 2-3 months i'll still be here for for you to rub it in and you can tell me how right you were and how the DF fans were never wrong about anything etc etc etc.
(Which IMHO seems to be the main point / motivation of your thread here right?)
