There no way in hell I'm ever going to pull the same mob over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over... waiting to level so I can pull a new mob over and over and over and over and over and over... well you get the idea.
I don't see why the severs aren't left on all the time, they patch over the free weekends, why not let us play the entire time... not like I didn't pay for the privilege.

Keep in mind that GW is still in Beta, and the devs are working 24/7 in order to get this game 100% ready at launch. They can't have thousands of players running around in the world on top of all the fixing.

I don't see any reason why they can't. They asked us to pay to play the beta, then again to buy the box. I'm cool with that, but there is a expectation that I'll get to play.
They aren't writing code on the Production severs, they have Dev severs, and "test" severs. During the weekends they have already proven they can patch the game nearly seamless to people playing.
They have also proven they have the bandwidth, and the severs can handle the load. Witch was probably the point of the free beta.
I see no technical reason why they could have the "beta" severs open all the time.
I assume they don't wish us to tire of the content pre-release... and perhaps that is smart... but all the same I have a addiction to feed, and I can no longer pallet the "time investment" eq knock offs. Like a salivating dog staring though a open window at a golden brown turkey left alone on a kitchen table, I wait.

Clever_Glove they never asked us to pay to play in the beta, if your talking about preorder they are the one who spend money to make all those box and the price we are paying to get them will be used to pay the game when released.
though I would like to play again before 4 dec to.
And me to since i played that game, i tryed to play other game while waiting but i havnt been able that is why im lurking on this forum
i agree can't wait to be able to play the game again, tobad they will probobly do a full caracther wipe for this weekend, took me a few hours to get from level 15 to level 20 last weekend with a full hydromancer armour sett for my elementalist.
ohh well guess i'll get to test a few new things then, hmm did an elementalist/warrior last time, mabye a warrior/elementalist this time then.

For the first two Beta Weekend Events, with start dates of November 6th and December 4th, your World Preview Event characters will be intact, with their names, levels, and items in place. At some point in the future there will be a character wipe, resetting each character to Level 1. At that time, providing you have been a Beta Weekend Event participant, your character names will be preserved for you into release of Guild Wars.

I wonder what changes they would have made to this beta event. Last time, they made experience gaining less to increase the leveling time, but still fast. I hope they increase the Lvl cap by atleast 5. Level 20 seems very low compared to other online RPGs. More quests would be nice. Traveling quests maybe? Or a quest to help you find some elite skills. YAY... those are really cool.
This game will be awesome. Eventhough I am drawn usually more to PvE with nice quests, I love competition, especially team based competitiont. There is so much strategy.... YAY!!!!!! I can't wait. I am already looking at how I can change my Mesmer.

All of the available animations can be found in the GWOnline commands guide. -New items (primarily weapons and salvage items) have been added, along with new item graphics. -Party member health bars and targets' health bars have now been given small "up" and "down" arrow icons to represent the number of enchantments (up arrows) and/or hexes/conditions (down arrows) they are suffering from. -Characters now blink (their eyes, that is) and will begin to do things like shift their weight when standing idle for prolonged periods of time (very subtle at this point, perhaps this will be expanded later). -Balancing changes were made to just about every skill. All changes are now reflected in the GWOnline profession sections. -Several areas have received quite a bit of updating, seeing more mobs added, more bosses added, slight terrain changes, etc. -Sanctum Cay, a whole new mission after Riverside Province, has been opened and is slated to remain open for the BWE. It is possible more areas will be opened and we'll definitely keep the community updated.
