in Darkfall

The only thing I read is negative thread full of haters that obviously want Darkfall to fail. I haven't read one thread that's postive without bashing DF; I dislike keen reviews so that doesn't count and his review is 1 day early. You guys say that the community on DF's offical forum is crap, well you should have a reality check because this community right here is total garbage... Anyways, I'll be enjoying Darkfall while the rest of you play hello kitty themepark.

    You can actually sign up and play Hello Kitty Online.

    If nothing else, in that way it is far superior to Darkfall.

    Yeah.....as if the official forums aren't full of negative posts....oh....wait.....this is an open forum for relatively open discussion, not a ultra-strict pro-DF moderated forum where anything negative is removed and the account banned.

    Get some perspective, a LOT of players think DF is shit, you don't see it as much on your precious forums because anything that might upset you is removed.

    Enjoy the game, i'll await your angry "I quit" thread here within the next few months with amusement.

    Expresso gave me a Hearthstone beta key.....I'm so happy :)

    the "well fuck you then" response you get from some people is understandable

    but when its a company that is competing with other companies (does the "well fuck you then" response), good luck trying to stay afloat

    those other companies will survive, and you will die

    Completely wrong! Some of us dont want darkfall to fail but Adventurine is taking care of the thenselves with bad customer service, pay to play beta, unable to control the cheaters..etc etc.

    This is again completely wrong. Ive seen the positive threads too. You must not have tracked these forums very well. Take a look back and you'll see several. BTW ppl do have a right to thier opnion whether we like it or not. MMORPG is place for all to express thier views. Not just the ones you want to hear. You could also make the case theat DF community has been awful in these forums for anyone that shows criticism to thier game or has a less than positive review of the game.

    Again I'll reinterate that MMORPG is a place to express you views. DF forums delete and ban ppl who criticise thier game, they have a right to do so,  so ppl come to these forums........ MMORPG doesnt.  BTW Many of the fans have been horrible on both sides of the isle.

    I'll be enjoying Darkfall while the rest of you play hello kitty themepark.

    This is the exact reason ppl think the DF community sucks. Comments like these. Let me clue you in. DF isnt the best game out there. Its the opinon of the person playing the game. Yours is no better than the next persons. Get over your self and enjoy the game while you can as Adventurine has made one bad decision after another and will cause this game to eventually fail.

     

    Played : WOW, LOTRO, COH/COV, EQ2, SWG, and WAR.
    Playing EVE Online and AOC.
    Wtg for SW:TOR and WOD

    Erm, you believe that is someone has something negative to say about Darkfall, or anything else for that matter, is because the community is "total garbage"? It could be that someone disagrees with your opinion and decides to voice it on a public forum. While some people take it too far, such as saying people that dont/do like darkfall are (fill in the blank here), it is their choice and opportunity to voice their opinion.

    epic, was wondering when I would see a DF fanboy go crazy, usually happens when someone mentions the game in a bad way, its like a religion for some people it may seem, its their perfect world and our view similar to north korea, poor, bad and oblivious of the rest of the world, still the people praise it... until they leave

    Then you're not reading closely enough, are reading very selectively, or are misinterpreting the posts (willfully or otherwise). Many of the posts here, over the past weeks, have been criticisms about the failings of AV and/or DF by people who want the game to succeed.



    If nothing else, you've fallen prey to the same narrow-minded conclusion as the other rabid defenders here: "criticism of anything to do with DF = hate, trolling and wanting the game to fail". When you take off the rose-colored glasses, the truth is nothing even close.

    Are there people here who will bash the game no matter what? Yep. Unfortunately, some people have nothing better to do with their time. However... not all negative posts are "bashing". Many are pointing out legitimate problems and concerns. Again, it's only the rabid fans who defend the game through their rose-colored specs who interpret *any* criticism of the game to be "hateful bashing".

    I've seen some of the official DF forum community, and it's as bad as, if not worse, than here. It reminds me of Shadowbane's forum community every time I go there... and that's not a compliment.

    ... Maybe the problem with many DF fans/defenders is a lack of imagination, or an extremely small view of the world around them. Try as I might, I can't understand why almost every DF fan defends criticism of "their game" by assuming those criticizing it "can only handle themepark games", or "are carebears", or any other equally ridiculous (and flawed) conclusion. It never occurs to some of you (fans) that the reason people criticize DF, AV and Tasos are because they deserve it.

Does playing Darkfall make you a better person than those playing Hello Kitty, why should all the rest of us take it as an insult that we are (supposedly) playing Hello Kitty? Does playing Darkfall make you superior to those playing Hello Kitty and if so, why?

    The funny part is that Hello Kitty online has about 10x the people playing it than DarkFall has.  It has also figured out how to not have to bring down it's servers, or have them crash every single day since launch.  

    Huh.... go figure.  

    Perhaps Aventurine should call them up and get a few tips?  :)

          Well the OP is right....Darkfall is a perfect game with a perfect community and has over 10 million players.......There are only a million accounts here and its obvious we are all garbage.......Aventurine is so perfect and obviously know what they are doing by only allowing in a few very special people to play their perfect game.......We are sorry that we are garbage OP.....Enjoy your perfect game for the rest of your life.

         Everyone knows that only the hardcore of the hardcore get to play Darkfall....I heard they even rejected Chuck Norris because he was too soft......We need to lay off the Darkfall players......They are a special lot that has been hand picked by the best company ever and we did not make the cut......Accept that we arent good enough and let these perfect individuals enjoy their game.......

    DarkFalls community here is me and 7 - 10 other fans who get bullied if we say something positive about the game. So the expectation to meet a community  was a wrong one.

    In the cloak of  "these forum is for all types of opinions" and in the mask of "critics" these forum has breed the worsest type of  decrier i have personally read in my life.  You shopuld have been here a year ago with 70% vaportrollers, that time a fan was joyfull and thankfull for a simple opinion like "i am not sure if these is vapor" ..right that was a neutral opinion those days...

    Every single word a fan used that was positive has been dissect and discarded ..i can remember i was not allowed to use the word Beta  that  time without hordes of naysayers denied that aventurine  existed or denied that  the game existed or denied aventurine is testing..that is the atmosphere i  had to adapt in these forum..

    The people here are very meanly in giving DF the slightly bit of  something even so tiny positive..these continues  today .. look at the replies  you got..

    here is NO DF COMMUNITY ..here is the fight of some isolated DF  fans facing an endless bashing and trolling towrds this game, its community ..

    I would appreciate if  forum fallers come here and help the situation to get more things even..

    hey, enjoy that persistent world fps from the 90s, which is missing ALL the features on the darkfall website which would've made this game special.

     

    and if by hello kitty, you meant eve online, which is leaps and bounds beyond this game, in terms of "hardcore" (you can fully loot whatever is left after the explosion), in terms of completeness, in terms of unique features, in terms of overall coolness... then, yes, i'll be enjoying eve online while you pay to play both a beta AND a poorly done fps.

    seems the op can't hendle a hardcore game, nor a hardcore game's forum.  seems that darkfall's fans are full of fail.

     

    sad to proclaim oneself as hardcore and words on a forum burn.

    could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please?

    Games played:AC1-Darktide'99-2000-AC2-Darktide/dawnsong2003-2005,Lineage2-2005-2006 and now Darkfall-2009.....
    In between WoW few months AoC few months and some f2p also all very short few weeks.
