that mean...

1. you MUST use web login

i don't know that 'USA and other country user' can login korean server

anyway, some client-to-connect user will be disabled in march 25

- you'll connect this way

-go to the Aion web site -> login in page -> click game start

2. friend list and...............i don't know translate that exactly means (we tak pan me ail ri me)

-1 . we tak pan me ail ri me

-you sell item use the 'we tak pan me' (mean consignment sale?)

-maybe your item saled, massage(which takes sale log) will be on the Aion home page (plus....only you can read text --)

-2 . friend list on the homepage

-you can see that how many friend(in the game), Legion who are game-login

Really Bites if it blocks US based players who are just looking to have fun. Can probably get around it with the VPN, but now it's more difficult. I imagine the website is to log IP addresses. Wonder what'll happen if they see the same IP address run 50 accounts...

Its been confirmed that you need to launch the Test Server client via the website now, instead of the local .exe. (same as retail)

I'm still unsure of the implications of this, maybe they are planning to ban foreign IPs in the future.

this is final one (i received today)

That mean

this minor update is...

(1) not purpose to ban other nation connector

(2) but not sure of (1) in the future (as a metaphor...)

(3) Aion korean retail adjust only korean user. so, we can't help any connection-problem

Well that's good it's not for banning Ip yet.

Thanks for sending them a message about it. The hearts in the "Hi" is a nice touch. I've never recieved any hearts in the emails from NCSoft NA.

1. Conection error will be since Today at 9:30PM (is korean time... now time is 11:41PM)

2. being non-define error and fix the problem ASAP

3. we can't estimate time at already fixed

but i don't play Aion anymore

i play Aion at OBT(short period) and now i don't play Aion

because .... i played z9star OBT.....VERY VERY HARD 22Hour/Day Every weeks AT 1mouth

and OBT over. (= everything change normal life)

Aion plays need money (um........i say about paying a mouthly)

and i don't have fun with Aion (maybe because of many playtime in Z9star)

so, now i play mabinogi

Hey, i just had to make an account just now just to thank you for all the help you are currently doing with these messages etc. even though you dont play the game yourself at the moment.

So yeah no real meaning to this post apart from to say thanks for all the help so far simsimhada, its really appreciated.

Im currently downloading the korean client just now but itll be like another 50 hours till its done >.> so slow lol but i cant wait

I'm also getting an error message everytime I try to load. Been able to play fine up until the patch, and this has all been without a VPN as they don't block IPs (they did during beta testing). The error I am getting is this:

If anyone could help me translate *cough* simsimhada *cough* that would be amazing! My spiritmaster is just about finished with the quests to go to they abyss and I can't wait for some pvp goodness.

Mmmm ok that makes sense. You are awesome by the way, thanks for the translation.

I just can't seem to get it to the "update" part, won't get to the launcher so I'm thinking its still a problem with the connection. I'm downloading the test client at the moment for the 7x exp and etc. so I'll try that. Hopefully the client I'm downloading is an updated one.

Hey, I just started to download the client 6 hours ago and my stupid computer restarted. Is there a way for me to continue downloading where I left off? Right now, it started all over again ><. By the way, there are 2 option to download the client on the korean aion site. I choose the right side second option correct? That's the one that pops a little window and click the center to start downloading the game. Any suggestion will be welcomed, thanks.

Unfortunately, there is no way to resume the download if has been interrupted. My connection was lost at around Cab5 on the first atempt to dowmload the client, and it started over(the downloader will just override any exisiting files) >.<

The second link is just a mirror..both work just fine. In fact, the right link tends to be more reliable from what I've experienced.

Well, that sucks.

Really? I just finished downloading but nothing is happening. I don't see a icon or the files saved to my computer ><. What else am I suppose to do?

I was rereading all of the posts on this thread. I access the test server client and I got a pop up. I click on the image that was shown on this thread about patching or whatever. I got this image. The image is going to be under my post or whatever, The picture area signitures.

Just to be clear, the test server client is different from the retail one. You need to make sure you have the right one before trying to play on either.

I'm assuming you've downloaded the retail client (clicked on the right/2nd link) and now you need to unpack the client and install it. You're gonna have to check which directory the client was downloaded to, cause I can't remember off the top of my head which the default selection was >.< Something like C/Users/AppData if I remember correctly..(I use Windows Vista, might be different on XP).

I know it isn't the most obvious of places. cause I decided on my second attempt to d/l it on an external drive for safe keeping.

Once its installed, login via http://aion.plaync.co.kr/ (IE only) and launch the game via there.
